My husband and I visited the Lancaster, Ohio location on September 29th at 2:00pm, placed our order which we didn't receive until approximately 2:45 (after a couple who arrived about ten minutes after us received theirs) only for my dinner to be barely warm with the exception of my mac and cheese.
Our order was very simple; I ordered a dinner bell plate of hand-breaded chicken, mac and cheese and mash potatoes/gravy and my husband ordered the Wildfire Chicken Salad w/fried chicken. The salad was fine as well as my mac and cheese however, both my chicken and potatoes/gravy were luke-warm at best.
My husband asked if I wanted to let our server know however, after waiting so long to receive our order I didn't want to possibly wait even longer for a hot dinner or something simply "warmed up".
When we left I was asked by the cashier was everything alright to which I replied to and explained why, after asking if they were short staffed and told no, we're very slow today it's the kitchen. I paid for our food and asked for a manager who, after telling her of our experience replied "Sorry about that!"
We honestly could have gone to McDonald's and received better service and the manager (sorry I didn't capture her name from her nametag) seemed as though she couldn't care less about our experience even when I told her we wouldn't be back for a very long time!

Desired outcome: I would like compensated for our meal that we paid $28.88 before tip...beyond terrible and the lack of concern was unbelievable. Don't ask how everything was if you don't care because it's simply lip service.

Bob evans.. Or was... 8/13/2021 (and 2 weeks prior at logan location)
I waited to be seated 20 minutes. I realize this is typical with short staffing, pandemic, etc. I waited another 10 minutes to get a server. I ordered a drink. Server returned and took my order a few minutes later.
Customers seated behind me had their orders taken, food brought and finished their meal before I saw a server again. In fact, I never saw a server again. I waited another 30 minutes. No one. Nothing. No bread, no refill, no soup (3 course meal). I left.
I've never walked out of bob evans before. This is how bad the service has gotten. I visited the logan location 2 weeks ago and was given a 30 minute wait for a curb side pick up (simple, biscuits and gravy). It was another 30 minutes till I got it... And I had to go inside to get it... That is when they started filling my order. I wrote corporate office with a complaint. No response. Now this...
Since no one is listening, I will now vote with my wallet. I used to love the restaurant and what it was when I went to college at rio grande, across the street from 'down on the farm'. Whatever it is now, is not that. Very disappointed. Not sure i'll recover. I think i'm finished with a place i've visited since a child.
Desired outcome: GGift certificates, an apology, or simply acknowledgement someone is listening?
