Hi I would like to lodge a complaint against your restaurant on 266 highland road, macedonia ohio 44056. My mother, my daughter and arrived at the restaurant around 11:20 on sunday 10/22, we gather at this location every sunday to eat following service and have been doing so for many years. We have met quite a few familiar faces and seen some go as well. We are familiar with waiting and don't mind, but the past few weeks we noticed the young lady who has been seating people was taking people of head of us, last week it was two sets of people and this week three sets, well after we had waited 45 minutes and someone else was set ahead of us, we spoke up and was told it was about table size, well that made sense for the set of 5 just seated but the 2 sets of 3 before then did not. I asked for and spoke to a manager who was trying to be very accommodating, but as she spoke to me the young lady began whispering, laughing and running to tell her friends and they all began looking at me, all this was happening at the front. I will say I did lose my cool a little at the nonchalant and juvenile way the "hostess" acted as I was speaking to the manager. I send this email, because customer service is so important, and I am asking only to be treated fairly and to say our young people should really be taught the art of treating people with respect while they work. We have loved frequenting this restaurant over the years but feel the generation of people they have working in the front, this young lady, for example of whom I did not get her name, needs training in this area. We wound up leaving today 10/22 after waiting almost an hour with a bad memory of a place that has brought is so much joy. I got a carryout from them last night. I've been puking with diarrhea all night from it. The management isn't aware that their crew can kill people when they don't follow procedures. They cause someone's death, they can go to prison or pay the rest of their lives wages in a wrongful death settlement. I dont think the staff understands how they can personally be held responsible. I know they don't pay well, but you still must do the job. I reported them, health dept is paying a visit today. I'll be ok I think. Hopefully the visit will save the next guy.
