On January 18, 2019, approx 9 :00 p.m., my husband and I visited this Taco Bell. We ordered #8 (drink, taco pizza and 2 taco supremes). I also order another taco supreme. We received our order. The taco pizza hardly had any tomatoe sauce.
The restaurant started to get busy. The front employee took some orders. The food was coming out slowly. Then other customers where coming in.the employee was telling them it would take approx 30 mins before they could be served. She stated there was only 3 employees there. those customer left. Again more customers came in. They where greeted and was told approx 30 min wait. Those customer was told there was only 3 employees. They where told the manager was concerned about hours, business was slow and employees here sent home. At 9:45 pm, the employee locked the front doors. The employees was still serving the drive thru. The employees only apologized one time to customer.
I have worked with customer for over 25 yrs. I understand there was only 3 employees, but that is no need to turn away customers. We are paying their salaries. Advise customer they would be with them very shortly. Does that staff know how to work both drive thru and the lobby? Maybe they need trained. Dont tell customer everything. Did they need to lock the doors? Was management notified regarding the problem? Has management looked at the busy hours ? managment needs to look at better scheduling of employees. Train all employees to work the food line, not just register. I cant believe how poorly that location was running and the wrong decisions that was made. I won't be going to that business again.
