Tried ordering mac and cheese with my kids meals and was told they were out. Pulled up got my food and pulled around to check and make sure I had everything because this location is notorious about leaving [censored] out of the order. So i go back in line to get what they of course forgot and the car in front of me orders mac and cheese and they dont tell them they are out. Manager comes out and i show her my receipt and she comes out to give me my items, she does not even apologize that i wasted my time having to go back thru the line or that they forgot my items. Get home and she gave me okra instead of the fries i ordered. Extremely pissed off. This location sucks. Love chicken express and this is the only one close to my house, but their manager is rude and something is alwayd messed up.
Chicken Express - Customer service
Placed an online order for pick up. My Husband went through the drive-thru to pick up the order and was told it wasn't ready and pull up front. He pulled up front in his large RED F-150 and waited. After an hour my daughter started to worry and called him. He told her he was still waiting. She told him it had been an hour and maybe he should go back through the drive-through. He told her there were 11 cars in front of him she said she would call the store. She explained the situation and she was told they thought he left. Told her it wasn't their problem that it was a postmates problem. By the time we received our food it was lukewarm and wet from condensation.
Chicken Express - Drive through order
This evening I drove through and purchased order number Dr- T#329. It included a #2 combo 7 piece tenders with a side of cheese sticks and roll, and additionally 2 family sized mashed potatoes with a family size gravy. My total was $23.09.
I spent almost 15 minutes in line. Finally I got to the window. The woman at the window looked inside and then I was handed the bag that had my combo in a box and a bag with the extra sides. I noticed that the sack containing my sides was soft on the bottom and the woman who handed me the order said that the cheese sticks may have tipped over but everything was good. She said have a good day and started tapping her fingers and looking at the car behind me.
The car behind me honked and I pulled off. I saw inside the bag after I pulled out of line and saw that the bag was covered in my extra gravy! It was on top and the bag hadn't tipped over so that soft feeling had been gravy everywhere to begin with, she had handed it to me that way! There was no way she could not have seen and she had to have felt it otherwise why try the comment about cheese sticks?! I then looked at the box with my combo and saw the bottom was already soggy where the gravy leaked out the sack. I opened it up and I had a side of exactly 1 cheese stick. It reeked of fish as well. The chicken was okay. I was furious!
I looked at the line and it was backed up. The thought of waiting even longer to have someone else make a sloppy mess was infuriating so I left. This is my third trip to this restaurant where I have had crap service. Either items are missing or burned or I got someone else's order or a big fat mess! There is just no reason for so many mistakes. I have worked in food service and I know things go wrong but there are honest mistakes and there's just plain not giving a damn. I feel ripped off after an experience like this.
