I went to chicken express at 1606 S Cooper street in Arlington, Texas on 09/14/2024, and the chicken was given to me was SPOILED! immediately when I took the first bite and looked at my chicken, the smell was so horrible! It was obvious! not only that, it was half cooked. I threw up immediately. I swallowed the chicken before I knew it! I walked back inside of the restaurant, and asked for the mananger. I told him my experience, and asked him to smell the chicken, he then said "no" and acted so not interested in what I had to say. I told him that they are selling spoiled chicken to customers, and all he said what I am going to pull your ticket. Then another worker walked up to the counter, I asked him to smell the chicken, he did and gagged immediately. I cant believe the manager didnt listen to me as a paying customer. The chicken was obviously spoiled. It smelled so bac! The only excuse he gave me was the chicken was probably cooked in old grease.. I SAID NO! THE CHICKEN IS BAD! I will NEVER go to any chicken express. I NEVER recieved an apology or anything! I had nausea and diarrhea that evening. I hope you guys pull the cameras
Desired outcome: I would have like to seen the manager and coworkers more interested in what i had to say. He should have closed down the restaurant, and made sure the chicken was good. He never apologized to me or anything..

It’s alarming that you were served spoiled and undercooked chicken at Chicken Express, and even more concerning that the manager completely dismissed your complaint. The fact that another employee gagged after smelling the chicken shows there was clearly an issue, yet the manager refused to acknowledge it or even apologize. The excuse of “old grease” doesn’t come close to explaining the spoiled chicken, and it's unacceptable that you were treated with such indifference after experiencing something so unpleasant—and potentially harmful.
Having nausea and diarrhea afterward only adds to the seriousness of the situation. Hopefully, Chicken Express takes this seriously, reviews the footage, and addresses both the food safety issue and the lack of customer care you received. No one should have to go through an experience like this, especially at a restaurant.
Thank you for kind words to me. It was really a shocker the way the "manager" responded to me. He was very nonchalant, and acted as if I was making all this up. He showed no concern towards me at all. I was really alarmed the way the chicken smelled. I honestly could not believe it. I do believe i had food poisoning that evening.
Actually I have a confession to make. The chicken was not really spoiled. It was not really uncooked. I lied about this because I used to work there and they fired me. I lied hoping to get the restaurant shut down and the manager in trouble.
