using a food truck to move furniture?!
Seems to me that you have a food grade vehicle truck full size that has delivery of food fresh food or frozen food and you allowed somebody or somebody has been allowed to use it as a moving van to move into an apartment. I would think that that would be a health code violation as they are hauling their dirty belongings in a food grade truck. Where's y'alls standards at? Don't think me or my entire family will be eating at your restaurant after seeing this.
poor customer service
Hello, my name is Caitlyn. I just visited the location in Forney and I am very displeased with my experience. I used the drive thru and when I got to the window, it was very clear the employees did not have a clue what was going on. When I noticed that my ticket was all wrong I explained to the employee what my order should be. He took the order back and told me he "fixed it". When I got home not only was the order still wrong, it was extremely cold. I love very close to this Chicken Express so there's no way it could've gotten so cold that fast. I'm pretty sure I was given someone else's order that had been sitting there for a while. The food is inedible and money was wasted. The employees need to be more aware of what is going on and keep better track of orders.
deterioration of service and product
We live about 500 yards from the 5100 Davis Blvd, North Richland Hills location. Everything posted about lack of staff is true. The quality of food and service has deteriorated over the past 7-8 months.
Staffing: Chronically understaffed and doors to dining room locked.
The restaurant has a great, highly visible, easy to access location. The location should be a license to print money but lack of management is driving customers away. What it does NOT have is management. The outdoor marquee sign is changed weekly and so is the staff.
Service: Inside Surly, lackadaisical and uninformed about menu choices.
Outside drive through service is a crap shoot and the people taking orders can be scary. We check credit card balances after every purchase.
Food: Offering identical choices as any Chicken E but the chicken is routinely under cooked, okra soggy, rolls (not biscuits) tasteless lumps of dough and french fries taste of last year's fryer oil.
Are the corporate offices unaware that their brand is being trashed?
We now go to the Blue Mound Road location. It's everything Davis Blvd location is not.

Went to Chicken Express in Commerce Texas. At 6:12pm July 3rd 2017. Tried placing order. No Chicken Strips, No Corn on Cob and No Mashed Potatoes...When Looking thru to Kitchen flies were all over the chicken in bins and restaurant was full of the pest. Not sure why I am taking time to fill out complaint, I am sure as always it will fall on deaf ears. I doubtfully will go back. I eat there 2 to 3 times a week and its a 20 minute drive. lack of product
I saw a light sign that had a special promotion on chicken. It was for a 10 piece mixed with biscuits for $12.99. I pulled into the drive thru because I liked the deal. When I ordered, they said they no longer have that deal available and that the manager forgot to change the sign. It should have been honored considering the flashing lights still promoted the sale. However, I let it go and decided to order a 9 piece gizzard meal, a 10 piece tenders meal, a 9 piece gizzard with biscuit and a large Mac and cheese. They tell me the order is $28.75 and I pull around. When I get to the window, they tell me they are out of mac and cheese as well. First it was them not honoring a special deal that they had signs up for, and now they are out of what I ordered. At this point, I had such a bad experience I just wanted my order and leave. The cashier asked if i wanted a different side, I asked what sides they had, and he answered with "the sides were on the menu." That upset me. So I decided to just cancel the large side all together. Since I ordered 3 meals, one with 7 tenders, I asked for a good amount of honey mustard and BBQ. He gave me 1 of each. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a drive thru. I wanted to return my whole order, but my husband was tired and just wanted to go home. I would like this matter taken care of.
wait time for food
I waited in the drive through at the window after I had already paid, for 35 minutes on the chicken tenders. Meanwhile the rest of my order was just sitting on the counter getting cold. They said the chicken "was getting cooked but it'll be fresh." 35 minutes to make chicken tenders, why weren't they already cooked if they take so long. The rest of my food was cold when I got home so I had to warm it up in the microwave. I counted 7 cars behind me drive off because they were tired of waiting. I would have driven off but I had already paid and also would have never guessed it would've taken so long. I have never waited in a drive through so long in my entire life. They did apologize for the wait and offered me a free side order. I did expect it to be a large side but it was a small side that was also cold. I would have appreciated my money back after waiting that long and the rest of my food being cold.
gizzards
I went to purchase order of gizzards and when I got home they were still warm but half of them weren't even fully battered with half the gizzard falling out and they were all hard and really chewy and I buy them twice a week and they are always fresh because I request it. I called management and he said his name is Louis and said he made last batch before 9 and they don't make anymore afterwards due to closing and I checked ticket and it said 9:20 and I explained my situation and he was rude and said there's nothing he can do about it and said he would notify owner but no telling when that would be as if I had no chance in making it right. I'm a loyal customer and never had problems before after all these years. I will continue to go back but not under his management. I believe the customer always comes first not their rush in getting rid of customers to close down. I know the local store will never hear me out or make it right but I think freshness is a must for better business and kindness for customer service satisfactory.
missing stuff from my order
Seams to me that at least every other time we order out and pick chicken express, that we are missing things from our order. What hurts the worst is the commute over to get it and back plus the additional trip of us there and back. Plus you would think that they would offer a gallon of tea or something for thier mistake! Today will be our last day ever eating chicken express again! I always thought that rasing canes was a little expensive, but our order is always right so that saves gas. I've truly had enough of this place and the sorry trip I have to endure. The closest place yall have to us is off sycamore school rd. I'm very sure that we aren't the only ones. I also never thought I would ever spend my time submitting one of these but that's just how upset I am!

We stopped at the chicken express in Kerrville Texas on 624 Sidney Baker, Sunday June 25. 2017 at 8:28 pm.
We chose to go here because the location in Corpus Christi is awesome. We went through the drive through since we had a long drive home still. We ordered a combo 2, 1, 5 and order of okra and family order of cheese sticks. We received our food and drove off. We were issuing the okra and cheese sticks. I went inside to let the staff know which they fixed quickly but while I waited the store was filthy. The dining area was clean but the kitchen was gross. Food all over the floor and under counters, flour all over the floor. Had I seen this before I ordered I would haven't and left. When I got back to my car and we ate the food it was not very good. The gizzards were cold, chicken was rubbery and rolls were not fresh. We choked down what we could because we needed to get on the road and we were not turning around again. It was very disappointing to spend $30 and get old food. Knowing what it looked like inside the kitchen, it's not surprising. Wanted to let someone know that this locations needs lots of work.

I have been a frequent guest at the Altus chicken express for as long as the store has been open. Today me and my family went in and ordered and I showed the cashier my ID and explained I was militar like I always do. She rudely told me Active Duty only. I stated I had been getting military discount since day one and she told me oh well retired military means nothin. I was very pissed. I paid and left. Her name was Geneva.

This happen on A Friday night in Snyder Tx . My husband, nephew and I went chicken express and order some chicken tenders. Long after we played and sat down they have informed us there was no grave. Well what can you do already paid . After we got our meal and started to eat. People came in and they would tell them they had no grave but then came a couple with their kids and order the same thing and the cashier told them they had no gravy and the manager came out and told them they had gravy. So she must have known them. I then went to her and asked whyvthey get grave and we didn't and she stated " I just find them". Sounds kind of funny to me. So if you dont know the manager or your not the right costumer in Snyder TX at Chicken Express you don't get special treatment.
horrible customer service
This incident happened yesterday(6/17) at a Chicken Express store located 5400 Denton hwy. My wife went through the drive through around 18:45-19:00. She received her order and proceeded home. Once at the house, she noticed that the rolls were left out of the order. She called the store to let them know that the rolls were missing and that I would be stopping by on the way home to pick them up. The person that answered the phone told her that they needed a receipt in order to give me the rolls when I arrived. She told him that she had just gone through the drive through and the rolls were missing. He told her that they had just had a meeting on this issue that morning and he could not give any rolls out without a receipt. She told him that she had our three small kids with her and did want to have to get them back out. She asked him if there was any way he could work with her. She could give him the receipt number over the phone. She told him that this was yalls(chicken E's) mistake. She wasn't trying to get free food, just what was left out of the order. This person again told her that he WOULD NOT give any rolls to anyone unless they have a receipt. She asked to speak to a manager and he sarcastically told her that he was the manager(Jonathan O.). She asked who his boss was and he told her he was the only one there. He said, "the buck stops with me". She told him there has to be someone over him because his customer service is horrible. He then pulled the phone away from his ear and said, "is there anyone else who wants to talk to this [censor] lady?" He then put another employee on the phone who asked, "how can I help you?" My wife told him that she just wants the rolls left out of the order. This employee then hands the phone back to Jonathan. She asked for the number to the store manager. Jonathan told her that she could look it up on google. He then sarcastically told her to have a nice day and hung up on her. She then started crying. I went to the house and got the receipt. I the. Went back to the chicken express and asked for the manager. I showed him the receipt and was given the rolls. He proceeded to tell me what he told my wife which was not the same story. He told me she got attitude and started cussing. That is not my wife. I told him that his customer service was horrible. There was no way he was a supervisor. He started getting attitude with me. I told him I would be going over his head and that this wasn't over. He then made a gesture with his hand and ran it over his head and laughed. He said the customer isn't always right and that I could leave. Then sarcastically said "bye".
This person is a horrible representation of what your company is. I have never had an issue at any other the chicken express. I find it hard to believe that this individual was trained as a part of the management team to act in such a manner as this. I am not seeking any monetary gain from this encounter nor do I want any. I just feel very strongly that this individual, as part of management, has no idea what being in the food industry is about and has horrible customer service skills. If the policy is showing a receipt for food items missing, there are better ways to communicate that then getting an attitude and cussing at your customer. I recorded my confrontation with him at the store. I am hoping your store surveillance will show his attitude on the phone.
family meal
My family and I ordered the tender family meal. When we got home the tenders were cold and soggy (definitely not fresh and crispy) like I'm used to from this location and my side was ice cold. When I called the management argued with me that the side was indeed fresh (despite it being freezing) and the best he would do is replace 15 tenders.. I ordered 25. Very displeased with my experience and won't be wasting anymore money at this establishment.

I waited well over 30 mins for my order. Which is ridiculous when all I ordered was fish. There was atleast 20 customers who came and were served while I am still waiting. Only to go inside to complain because your store is about to close for the manager to laugh and say oh we forgot about your order we were to busy cleaning that is complete [censor] employees saw me waiting. And then for you to run out of my order is just plain ridiculous. I am very disasstified with this. You need better management.
incorrect drive thru order
onjune 2 at 7:34 pm i placed a order for a tailgate special chicken dinner and when i got home i realized that i had been given the wrong order. what i received was individual dinners nothing like what i ordered so i called the location {1213 N commerce ardmore oklahoma 73401} and asked to speak to a manager and a gentleman got on the phone and immediately apologized and explained that i had been given the wrong order. the man then asked for my info and told me he would document the problem and for me to keep the receipt as my proof of the order and said to ask for a manager the next time i came in and it would be taken care of and once again apologized. i agreed . now when i today called to see what i needed to do a male manager was RUDE told me he was working then and he never had a problem that day and that noone had called either and treated me very unprofessional . i still have the receipt and would like something done to correct a mistake that i didnt make but still paid full price {64.07} thank you for your time and concern
15 pc w/ 2 family sides deal
i have ordered the 15 pc with 2 family sides deal from your athens location nearly every week for the last year. i was told today that they didnt have that deal. if the deal was stoped thats one thing, but they lied to my face and said that they have never had that deal. With the lieing to my face and the rudeness shown to me when i had mentioned i had gotten the deal from them several times before i will not be eating at this chicken express much longer. The one futher from my house is much friendler, and still offers the deal.

I am a faithful customer who comes to Forth Worth location 76132 on a daily routine. I order the same thing every time I could, which is your two piece snack pack strips. Your assistant manager is always rude to us for no apparent reason. He always gives very little strips and never have in it in his heart to either give two big strips or an extra strip. Today was the last straw and he has upset me and my staff by being rude for the last time. Your cashier even seen them and said he would change them out, but your assistance see us daily and had the nerve to tell me to order the number one if i want more strips. First off you don't tell me what to order if it's not in my budget I'm not going to buy it. I will like for a free meal due to lack of management. I have a pic as well.

I told the gentleman at the register that my strip for my snack pack was too small it was broken in half not even a whole strip. He was over to the asst manager Adrian that's what he told me his name was and he replies if they want more tenders they need to order a number and mumbled dumb [censor]es under his breath. So I asked for his name and let him know I would be contacting corporate for his rude comment. I always have issues with him everytime me and my co workers come there for lunch. Good evening, I just pick up my son from one of your locations in azle Texas! One of your managers there is a very abusive person, she has been calling my son all kinds of names and tonight she threw a pan full of cookies at him! She is very rude and it needs to be taken care of quickly before I go to channel 4 news about her! No one should be treated this way in any kind of way! He's a great kid, he's always at work! This is not acceptable whatsoever! She needs to be fired from this location! I have had enough of her abusive ways towards her employees! If this is not taken care if I will go to her myself!

basic #1 chicken tender combo
I ordered #1 chicken tender combo with fried okra & lemonade. After collecting my money I was given a cold box, intriguing me to open the box where I discovered my whole meal was not fresh in the least. Lukewarm at best & being this is my 4th time within a period of 5 months at the same location, it warranted this complaint. I advised the young lady in the window who preceded to rudely point to the parking lot to wait for it in which I requested a refund. She then closes the window and could be seen speaking to another young lady back in forth making hand gestures clearly irritated that I expected my food to be fresh but ultimately the other young lady surfaced with a receipt showing my refund never apologized or offered an alternative. The service is mediocre & that's putting it mildly, which I can handle but what I cannot tolerate is wasting my time and my money. This experience has made me want to no longer dine at your establishments

Based on the picture provided, your concern is regarding a box truck. The picture doesn't really show enough to determine if the truck is refrigerated or not, and I don't know what purpose these trucks are used for. So, let's say they are used to haul food (fresh food, frozen food, canned food). The only type of food that would be transported outside secured containers would be produce. I can pretty much guarantee that Chicken Express does NOT use this truck for produce, because Chicken Express does NOT have any products that require FRESH produce. Even if they did, produce is delivered to restaurants by produce suppliers who use their own trucks.
