Very good food, good service but dirty silverware
Wilder, Ky restaurant. I ate at this restaurant 03/02/2024. They could save money not wrapping the silverware nice and neat and instead spending that extra $ getting the silverware clean. My first fork had caked on food, so hard it couldn't be wiped off or scrapped off. The 2nd fork had to be rubbed quite a while before I would eat with it. I'll make my order to go next time. I can't stomach that again.
Desired outcome: Better cleaning procedures used for washing their silverware and replacing those that can't be cleaned.

I Called in a to-go order & I asked if the calzone has mozzarella & ricotta because we do not like them without both. The lady said yes so I ordered 2 calzones with spinach & onions & if it doesn't cone with ricotta please make sure to put ricotta please. I got home & they did not. I give credit where credit is due, but this visit didn’t last long. We entered, around one, only a table or two in there. Had to ask if we had to be seated, rude reception, maybe he was on his period. The table needed wiped off, then went to the restroom and there were hand towels all along the floor and in the sink. We weren’t about to order, so we just left. Sorry to leave this, but it’s just constructive criticism. Hope things turn out better.
Refused services for 45 min took me 2 hours to get one beer and a calzone.
Refused service for 45 min, finally I ask for manager and he ask me if I was banned in the past. Never had any problems there. My face is heavily scarred and I use walkers and wheelchairs. I am filing an Ada complaint with the justice department for discrimination. I am reaching out to several handicap groups who would take offense to your refusal to acknowledge me as i am calling out and waving to all waiters for 45 minutes and all ignore me. Happened on 4/5/23 started around 5:00pm. Came in with a walker and waited like 10 min for anyone to do the elevator. And then only after I called out to staff several times. They all just hated on me for no reason. I will file a writ myself. I will also get t a motion to discover to get that camera footage. Your staff is sick in the head. You don't believe me. Take a look for yourself. Not just refused me but showed open dislike.

I was in the Fleming Island Florida location. When a couple sat at a dirty table out side without being set by the hostess. It was then noticed that the manager porscha yelled at the girls to clean the [censored]ing table. I don’t know how things are done within the mellow company but I don’t believe it is responsible for anyone to be spoken to that way. Something should be done with this girl Porscha and if she can’t learn the proper way to manage young kids then maybe she is not right for management.

This was the worst service I have seen in a while. I place an online order that was supposed to be ready at 3:18pm. I got there at that exact time. I didn’t mind waiting a little while for my order but I did not expect to wait 45 minutes for an order that they said was ready for pick up. I sat waiting for my order at the bar and not once did anyone ask if I wanted to order a drink. Yet 2 other customers came in and got service quickly. I was pretty much invisible. After 40 minutes I finally asked for a manager/ Justin who by the way was standing there the whole time. I am not invisible anymore. I told him the situation and he had the nerve to say he doesn’t know what’s going on. He went to the kitchen and about 5 minutes later he brought out my order. The kitchen staff had no nets on their heads or beards. They were chewing on straws while handling people’s food. The bathroom floor were soaked and wet. A customer complained about the floors and nothing was done. The manager offered the refund 1 pizza when I ordered 3 items. I am not satisfied with the offered resolution. I would like a full refund.

I feel it wrong that yal only have one dishwasher. I have met david And he is always goin out his way and also doin duties that aren't his . I feel he should have enough time off or be allowed bonuses,vacation or something. I also think it's unfair how he covers others shift for unimportant events but can't get anyone to cover him when it's important or he needs break . Do better there is never supposed to be only one dishwasher at any restaurant

Weird glitch between site and store
Hello, last night (3/21) I ordered from the Woodstock store in Roswell, Ga and for the third time I paid for tempeh on two pizzas and did not get it so I called the store and they said they have tempeh but the orders don’t come through from the website saying we asked for tempeh. The lady on the phone said she would tell her managers and ask corporate to run a test on the site with a tempeh order to see if it comes through. The name on the last two orders is Nikki Kranz, the other is under my husband’s name. Thanks for your help with this, the lady said we should just call in orders to be picked up but we would rather the website work and have the pizzas delivered! Best, Nikki

I have been eating at the downtown mellow mushroom every month for almost 10 years. They seriously never disappoint. My boyfriend and I were in Wake forest recently and decided to order takeout there before heading back home. They said it would take 45-1 hour. Showed up there at about the hour mark and I had to wait another 10 minutes (which was fine- idc as long as good is good but that was the problem). The chicken wings and salad were sitting on counter when I came in. I waited for the cheese pizza all while the wings were getting colder. The wings barely has any sauce and were cold. The elevated Cobb salad was the saddest salad I’ve seen. They put lettuce and tomato and then a piece of bacon and tofu (I subbed this) in a separate container. No blue cheese. No avocado. I asked for marinara and none was given. I was just really disappointed. Downtown mellow would never!

We ordered a pizza (which was good) and a Lil' Salad today for delivery. The (Ceasar) salad seemed much smaller than what you get while dining in at a typical Mellow Mushroom. Greenville S.C store - high charges.
Visited MM in downtown Greenville S.C. on 12/22/22 at 11am. We are regular customers and always order the same thing so never need a menu. We visit several times a month and always get a large pepperoni pizza with extra black olives. My friend usually gets a brownie sundae for dessert and I will occasionally get just a small bowl of ice cream. Our bill is typically in the $38-44 range consistently. He will ask for an extra bowl of ice cream with his brownie sundae. This time our bill was almost $82! We inquired about it and the server told us that the manager told her to charge $3 for every scoop of ice cream they gave us. The sundae and two additional bowls of ice cream was over $39. The manager caught us on the way out and said they recently had a price increase and the menu states that its $3 a scoop, which it does not. We said we would be contacting corporate to complain and she said that's ok, it all has to come back through her anyway. We also said we will not be returning and will be telling all of our friends about it and asking them not to go as well. I have been a regular customer for over 25 years because I prefer the pizza over any other place. But after being blindsided like this and treated this way I will not return myself. No apology or offer to may it right was ever offered. I have never seen this manager either myself. Not good customer service at all!

Incorrect order
I ordered a cheese bread appetizer & 2 cheesesteak one chicken one steak , I requested to have marinara put on to the French bread , the worker checked with management they assure me that it would be done it was not , not only was it not added the bread is burnt literally too crispy for my children to eat. I was told my food would be ready in 25-30 minutes I arrived in 15 minutes food was not fresh nor hot . My cheese steaks have not even a full bed of meat more bread and cheese than anything I’ve eaten at this franchise several times and never received such skimy incorrect food especially for the prices . The French bread does not even have cheese throughout the whole bread . My cheese steak does not have any of the condiments on it I wanted everything except mushrooms and onions I have one piece of lettuce literally a drop or Mayo and a bunch of green peppers
Desired outcome: A correction of my food a refund I would literally return all the food tonight but the location is closed !
Sydney Julich unfair termination
I was an employee at the mellow mushroom on w Martin Luther king jr blvd in Charlotte North Carolina. I had called managers 9/7/2022 to make them aware I was not able to come in 9/8/2022 due to having to take my service animal to the vet. I put my shift up on the app and was okayed by Martin. I called 9/08/2022 to tell them I had to put her down 9/09/2022 and would not be able to make it in. That was also approved by Martin over the phone. I call today 9/09/2022 that I can come in and work till 2:30 but have to leave then so I can bring her in to be put down. Sydney julich told me I was a no call no show for three days and that I was being fired.
Desired outcome: Compensation and to speak to cooperate as I am two months to my due date being pregnant and have never once been a no call no show.

I visited the Mellow Mushroom on Oleander Drive in Wilmington with my 16 yr. old daughter on Sept. 3, 2022 (4-4:30 pm). Staff (young lady and young man, Elija were bartending) and we ordered pretzel bites were super friendly and me and my daughter ordered pretzel bites and watched the end of the North Carolina/Appalachian Statt game. The quarterback made a short pass attempt to win the game for App State and missed the wide open receiver. I joked to the staff that they could have thrown the ball better. The manager, Tish Bass, took offense, looks at me and tells me, "You think I'm a simple minded female who just doesn't get it" while pointing to her forehead with her fingers and walks off. Me and the bar staff (guy and girl) were perplexed. I discussed with them as we left. I asked them for the manager's name as I was super surprises that a manager would act and comment in this manner. The young staff members were as perplexed as me and thought her comment was inappropriate and knew my comment was generic and in no way directed towards Tish.

Really Bad Customer Service
AT THE CONEYES LOCATION ON SAT AUG. 13, 2022. Late Evening. Yes It was a very Busy Time. But WE Waited Longer than Others That came and and were seated 20 minutes later than my table who got there FOOD LONG BEFORE WE DID. NOT ONLY ONE TABLE BUT OTHER TABLES AS WELL. HOW SHOULD THAT HAD BEEN? Not Only Were we Made to wait to be Seated in While others came in behind us, It was a REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. Food Finally Came Was A Little Concerned That It May Have Been Tampered with. I Let go of That Thought and Tried to Enjoy My Meal. I FEEL THAT THERE WAS SOME UNFAIRNESS FROM THE STAFF.

Friday at 5:40 pm., my family and I came grab a bite to eat, when we heard the staff up front, a tall white female a little on the heavy side, wearing a orange mini skirt, a black male with glasses, wearing jeans, and a older heavy set white lady with shorts and a white t-shirts making fun of this black woman, who was over weight as well, and handicapped. I was highly upset, for one, this suppose to be a place of business, where you conduct yourself in a professional manner, and be courteous to one another, and not act like high children. I wanted to report them the same night, but my husband, told me not to, because it was our one night that we take our children out for pizza. So, I didn't say anything, until the next day (7/15/22) when I called Roanoke Virginia Mellow Mushroom, and asked to speak with the manager several times, and was hung up on all three times. I am truly disgusted with this establishment. There are not words for the people who are employed here, I am embarrassed to bring my family back to this establishment.
Desired outcome: Better Training in being professional. Well, you can't teach respect to ignorant people with a lack of education.

As a DoorDasher, I got a order to deliver for mellow mushroom. I waited 20 minutes for this order even though it was supposed to be ready 10 minutes before I arrived at mellow mushroom. I then asked one of the employees how much longer it would Be for the item they left off of this order. Said employee replied with “you can leave. You don’t have to wait”. As a door dasher that has been to hundreds of restaurants, I’ve never been treated this way!
Desired outcome: Please advise rude employee of politeness for the one delivering their food!
How can you treat employees so poorly?!
I went into Mellow in North Myrtle and was appalled by what I saw! The girl at the counter told us nicely that there was construction going on and the bar side would be cooler than the other side. While over there, a horrible smell filled the restaurant. They said it was from welding, but the employees were having trouble breathing, and I saw one run to the back looking like he was about to be sick. I heard the staff begging the manager to close since they were getting headaches and feeling dizzy, but apparently the manager above her wouldn't allow it. When I went to go use the bathroom, I saw foam on the floor and when I asked, they told me that installation and metal was falling from the ceiling due to the construction, so that section was closed. After asking, I found out they only have 4 servers. No wonder you are short staffed if that is how you treat your employees! No one should have to work in dangerous environments that are making them sick. I will never return to this location and I'm warning everyone I know to not go here until you learn how to treat employees like human beings and not robots!

The service at your Williamsburg, Virginia restaurant.
On April 14, at 12:30 P.M. my wife and I arrived at the restaurant. We saw that the outdoor dining area was almost empty of customers so we proceeded to the indoor check-In desk. When we tried to be seated we were told my the young woman employee that the wait time would be 1.5 hours. ( No explanation was given so I asked for one). She then proceeded to say that there was a shortage of servers.
I could not believe that in one of America’s largest tourist sights that there were not enough employees to serve customers on the week before Easter.
Please help them find employees or your restaurant won’t be in Williamsburg very long.
