My husband and I started going to PF mid March 2023. One of the AB machines had caution tape wrapped around it. We happen to enjoy this style of machine and asked the manager when it would be repaired and we were told the following week…that was close to a month ago. Additionally, the control panel for one of the stand up tanning booths is broken and won’t play any music. There is an actual hole in the screen about the size of a fingertip. We asked about this and the manager seemed unaware it didn’t work but said she would look into it. It has been a few weeks and we had to mention it again yesterday to another employee who also acted unaware. Strange thing is that you can tell if the music is playing or not because you can hear it when you walk in-this booth has been silent since we started there! We also have concerns about when the bulbs were changed last as we have used the booths many times and have barely develop any tan. The hydro massage beds and loungers need maintenance as well-one bed loses water pressure 2-4 times per session and one of the beds only has one jet working on one side. It just seems like the attention to the equipment is not there…not sure if that is the responsibility of corporate or the specific location. We have 2 PF locations in town and we are contemplating driving to the one across town to see if they are in better shape…just doesn’t seem like we should have to do that. The customer service is hit or miss…sometimes we are greeted when we arrive but many times we are ignored and the employees are cutting up and laughing and talking to each other…we have had to interrupt their conversations to receive help with getting into tanning booths, hydro massagers, or to ask questions. I hope PF sees this and is able to address the issues at this specific location but based on the number of unresolved issues listed here, we are not hopeful.
Desired outcome: Address broken equipment issues, change bulbs in tanning booths, try to encourage employees to provide better customer service and be a bit more attentive to customers.
