Between parties and my kids' school projects, I shop at Michael's almost once a week. For years, sales clerks and managers have been quite friendly and always honoring coupons, even allowing my children to use their own 50% or competitor's 55% coupon. If my kids have chosen to spend their own money, they should be treated as a customer and coupons honored. Apparently, Mark, the store manager at the Collegeville PA store, whose name badge indicates 13 years of service, neglected to remember this policy. Mark was rude and very unfriendly in front of me and my child when we mentioned that my son was paying for his own item and would like to use competitor's 55% coupon, and the same for me for my own item. I am going to shop at ACMoore from now on. At least the ACMoore managers and staff have been trained and understand policies and how to treat customers. Anyone really needing to go to Michael's in Collegeville, PA should avoid Mark the store manager. He's a grumpy old man who should no longer be working.
