Several weeks ago I went to the WaWa at Richmond St. & Allegheny Ave. for a sandwich. The service is always terrible there and the food is sloppily made. The day I went, there was only one guy at the deli and it was near the dinner hour. The line to get sandwiches was long and the single person making the sandwiches was obviously angry and moving as slow as a turtle in waiting on people. I asked why he was by himself and he mumbled something. Others were behind the counter, walking in and out of the back storage area and one was dusting coffee pots, but none of them were waiting on customers. I called the store and asked to speak to the manager after I left. I wanted to know why the others were not helping this guy at a peak time. The manager told me that the one at the coffee pots was an associate in training. Training for what? Training to dust coffee pots? There was no one with her showing her anything. Then again today, I walked into the store and only one cashier with approximately 15 people in his line was waiting on customers while other employees were just circling about. The line extended around the counter. This is supposed to be a convenience store! There is nothing convenient about this kind of service. Not to mention one cashier (no longer there) who told me "[censored] you" for whatever reason and getting a long hair in my meatball sandwich. The service at WaWA used to be so good back in the day. Not anymore!
Desired outcome: Get these people trained properly and managers who manage, not managers who hde in the back.
