Its been a while since I have wore my teeth each time I go back tell them my complaints they do a little adjustment and expect it to be fixed. My top plate is made lopsided the one side dosen't go over my gum and everything I eat or drink washed the plate loose, when I told them this they said there is nothing they can do about it. Also I had implants for my bottom teeth full plate there is a big gap in the back that food just funnels through and have to take out all the time while eating again I was told that is the way they are suppose to be. I'm sorry but no that is not suppose to be. I spent over 8000 dollars for my teeth and I think they should be fixed right. I havent used my teeth in 6 months and am very dis appointed I will never recommend aspen dental
Thank you

Aspen Dental - Dentist
I went in for a tooth ache and had full head of X-rays, quick exam by hygienist and quick exam from Dr. Carlucci. This is the Scranton, Pa office. I was told by Dr. Carlucci that I will need to be seen by an Endodontist because upper tooth which was my reason for coming looked like it needed a root canal, and lower 19 needed to be looked at. I also scheduled a cleaning and paid my bill, no problem. I went home and scheduled an appointment with the Endodontist that they recommended. I was seen by him 4 days later. His office did a CT full tooth scan and he found that the upper tooth needed to be extracted because of major bone loss and crack down middle, and bottom #19 needed the root canal to be refinished. I scheduled my appointment with the Endodontist for the refininishing, and called Aspen a dental to discuss what could be done with the upper tooth. I had already decided with the Endodontist that I would opt for a bridge. As it turned out Dr. Carlucci from Aspen dental disagreed with his diagnosis and wanted the CT to look over. I tried to get scheduled for the bottom tooth that the Endodontist refinished to be sealed and they refused to schedule me because they wanted to speak with the Endodontist first about the upper tooth. I finally spoke with the office manager Melissa who after berating me for not being patient with them and not letting her talk, scheduled me for the sealing of tooth #19 two weeks away. She said that she had nothing sooner available. I clearly understood that this was a matter of the dentist not wanting to do the work because she didn’t like the diagnosis from the Endodontist. It was different than her diagnosis and she didn’t seem interested in me being a patient any longer. I am very upset because I actually thought I was going to get good care there.
Desired outcome: All I want is for them to fit me in asap for the tooth to be sealed and for them to understand that treatment like that is undeserved.
Melissa called me today to let me know that she was not in the office yesterday and if she isn’t in, no one can access her emails which is where the Endodontist sent his report on my tooth #19. She said that there is no need for me to be upset because Dr Carlucci called Dr. Legg the Endodontist and he told her that two weeks is plenty of time for them to seal my tooth without any issues. They still couldn’t fit me in any earlier and she wasn’t apologetic for their treatment of me, not returning calls, putting me into voicemail, etc.. and that when she isn’t in the office no one can retrieve her emails and that I needed to understand that she is pregnant and had a dr. Appointment because it is a high risk pregnancy. Of course that was to make me feel like everything that happened was ok. She said that I put a complaint in and she was calling to make me understand that they did everything correctly. So even though this isn’t resolved, she explained that I needed to accept their way of doing business and that no one can do anything unless she is in the office and that there are no plans to find another way of handling issues or resolving issues when she isn’t available. Needless to say, her point of calling was to put me in my place. She also mentioned that I said she berated me, and I said you are berating me right now, and she said that I also was berating her. I guess that this is Aspen Dentals most qualified person for the job of Office Manager, someone who doesn’t believe in making the customer feel valued, but wants to customer to shut up and behave. So my complaint still stands, and it is now even worse because the Office Manager showed me who’s boss! Good luck to them.
