Citizens Bank - Zelle scam - lack of customer service

I’ve banked with Citizens for 25 years and used Zelle one time. On May 17th, I was convinced by a scammer on Facebook Marketplace that Zelle had a business account product, for which I had to increase my account limits. After some hesitation and being unfamiliar/fatigued in that moment, I agreed to a $300 transfer in order to be “refunded” for the business account limit. I immediately realized (w/in 30 minutes) my error, filed a claim with the bank, with the CFBP and with Zelle. Citizens denied the claim in less than a week, as I had “authorized” the transaction

I have had ONE lapse in 25 years using a product attached to my account that has no consumer protections whatsoever.

Desired outcome: I request the bank refund me $300.

Citizens Bank - Checking account deposit lost to monthly fees

I wish to file a complaint against Citizens Bank for charging monthly inactivity fees to a checking account I evidently opened at the time of procuring a Home Mortgage Loan.
On Aug 3 I received the first ever seen correspondence from Citizens Bank informing that I was $8.91 overdrawn on checking account #[protected]. Evidently this account was opened at the time of the home mortgage. Upon research of paperwork I retained for the home mortgage I found an acknowledgment that I deposited $100 at the time the home mortgage was engaged.
The Citizens Bank home mortgage was refinanced to another bank in Sept 2020. From that point on there was no longer any "banking" activity with Citizens Bank since the mortgage had been closed. Unknown to me Citizens then commenced to charge monthly fees for inactivity and it was not until the initial $100 deposit was exhausted did they contact me via USPS letter that I was overdrawn.
I called Citizens Bank at the number provided on the overdrawn notice and was unable to get any resolve from Douglas P. who was the manager handling phone inquiries on 8/10/21. He was polite but never offered to refund the initial $100 deposit but would only waive two months fees. He did assure me that the overdrawn balance would be vacated and that he would officially close the checking account over the phone. I feel, however, that these fees were unfairly collected as I never received any notification from Citizens Bank that they were being charged.
I am hoping that someone can intercede on my behalf and assist me in having my $100 refunded as Citizens Bank has not acted in good faith.

thank you very much,
James Pero

Desired outcome: Seeking refund of deposit
