Called in to re-fill a prescription on Tuesday 3/4/2020. Over 24 hours later I had still not received any notification that it had been filled. It was for an inhaler that comes in a box. I went to the store tonight at 6:30pm and was at the counter within 5 minuets. No other customers. There were 5 people working in the pharmacy. I watched as the young lady waiting on me went to the shelf, pulled my inhaler, placed it in a basket and gave it to the pharmacist. After 30 minuets of watching him eat candy, talk to other employees, texting on his phone he finally filled one prescription and hung it on the wall. Not even for a waiting customer. I asked if I could please get my inhaler and pay for it so I could go home. He looked at me and said "I've got it in my hand." Then another man spoke up and said "There are other pharmacy's in town you know." I told him that I had called it in over 24 hours ago. he said "So. I'm running 1 week behind. Maybe you should find another pharmacy." To which I replied "I will and maybe if you did not spend so much time running customers off and being a smart [censored] you would not be behind." I then left after paying for my prescription. I left another pharmacy and came to Kroger after a recommendation from a friend 2 years ago and it was great for the 1st year. The last year it has gradually gotten worse and worse at customer service. It has sometimes taken 2 days to get a prescription filled or refilled. I will never deal with that pharmacy again and that leaves me no reason to go back in the store. I will sharing this with all of my friends and all of my customers. I run a business that has over 500 customer living in this area and new comers to Aiken are always asking us where to take their business. Kroger is off the list. I hope your company finds a way to fix this quick or close the door.
