We were at this location:
I-95 & hwy 278 exit 8 hardeeville, sc 29927 housed in an Enmarket today at 2:30 pm (Sept/4/2022) and we're treated very rudely by an older African American female staff member:
1. Lettuce was brown/she would not get fresh lettuce.
2. She refused to change her gloves when I noted gluten cross-contamination concerns and a diagnosis of Celiacs.
3. She refused to put more that 2 small slices of tomato on my salad or cut the slices up claiming it was a health department rule.
4. She refused to put ranch dressing on my salad claiming that I had to use a package of dressing which was out of date and rancid.
5. She told me I was lying and did not live in SC or have knowledge of SC DHEC directives because I had a t-shirt on from Louisiana?
6. She refused to provide me with a receipt and the girl at the cash register intentionally gave me the wrong restaurant number 884, not 19951.
Desired outcome: Staff training and regular spot checks. Clearly Subway is fully aware of how bad this location is. Look at the reviews!
I am more than happy to file a complaint with SCDHEC too!
