Today Oct. 19, 2019, I had an awful experience with customer service. I normally get good customer service, but today there was a lady who would not give me a price check to confirm the price of an item I got from the clearance section that had the top off. The other wall stick on was $6.49. So, I thought it was the same. I went back to the back to get another item to show her the price. The cashier sold me the one I bought up to show the price. When I got outside, I checked and realized I had the wrong item. I went back to the store to ask about the one I wanted. I, then asked for a price check about 5 times and she would say it is going to be $34.99. We all needed to confirm what I thought was for the cashier to do a price check. The attendant that stands in front of the lanes kept saying it is still going to be $34.99 with the top off the tube. All could have been resolved if she would not have had such an attitude and allowed the cashier to do a price check, then everything would have been confirmed with the price. I do not appreciate being treated so rudely in what is supposed to be a customer-centric business. If she treats all the customers this way, you are going to lose business because a simple effort could have continued the strong reputation I was associated with your company. Now I do not see Hobby Lobby as being customer-centric if you are going to allow people like this to work in your store. A simple price check and a little customer service skills would have been the thing to do. The desirable resolution would be a price check for the wall stick on and if it is the clearance price, I would like the item and an apology from Hobby Lobby for allowing rude associates who do not understand customer satisfaction means a lot to a business.
