On 08/23/2024 @ 6:10PM I was the next person in line waiting to be checked out. There was only one check out lane open and the young man who was working the register had to explain to a woman customer step by step how to read her receipt. I was standing there probably 12-15 minutes but it seemed longer.
The CSM woman named Dawn saw that the transaction was taking a long time and saw that I was looking around for more cashiers. She did not say anything to me. Two more people got in line behind me and Dawn didn't open another register until after my things were being checked out. The two people behind me got checked out quickly by Dawn and she was very polite to both of them.
My complaint is Dawn could've been polite and said something to me like sorry for the wait... but instead she chose to disregard me completely.
Her customer service skills stink and she should not have the CSM position. If she doesn't like something about a customer she still needs to remain unbiased and do her job and treat everyone equally.
I own a security training school and treat all students with respect no matter where they're from or their nationality. Mangers must treat customers with respect and be polite. Dawn displayed nothing but rudeness towards me.

Hobby Lobby, it seems like your CSM Dawn needs a refresher on customer service. Standing in line for 12-15 minutes with no acknowledgment is bad enough, but then seeing others get polite and quick service while you're ignored? That's just plain rude. As a business owner yourself, Lisa, you know how important it is to treat everyone with respect and professionalism. Dawn dropped the ball here, and it’s clear she could use some training on how to handle customers equally and courteously.
