Fleabag hotel, roach motel...
My family and I are disgusted and disappointed that Days Inn and Wyndham have attached their names. Bugs on my bed and on the wall (we have pictures).in my room, only half if the outlets work.in my parents' room, the outlet sisters when they tried to plug in the tb and blew our electricity in the whole room.in my sister's family's Room, the dresser fell apart when they tried to use it. The comp breakfast is almost nonexistent and the coffee was undrinkable. Part of our party is leaving early as a result.. the pool water isn't circulating. The staff just shrugs all of this off.
We were not looking for a luxurious hotel (or even motel). We were just needing a clean (at least big-free) place with reliable electricity offering a modest continental breakfast. This is not it. I wish we could leave today and stay at a different place in Gatlinburg tonight but can't afford to. Please call me as we would love to tell you more or share pictures. 843-743/6279
Days Inn - over billed
I stayed at Days Inn Downtown Gatlinburg from 11/30/18 -12/2/18. I was double charged. I paid the full fee of $229.62 the morning of the 30th and then was charged an additional $114.81 that night. I was told when I called the following week that was an error and I should have never been charged the $ 114.81. I was told that I would receive a refund back on my card but I never received it. I then was told via email on December 17th that it would take 7-10 business days to process the refund. I never received that refund and haven't been able to get any more response from the hotel. I would like my refund to be processed.
