I ordered a queen bedroom set in July from Ashley in Rivergate and it has yet to be delivered now in December. I was originally told it would take 6-8 weeks, now it has been 5 months and I still have no furniture. The delivery has been scheduled 5 times and canceled each time either the day before or the morning it was supposed to arrive. I am beginning to think this company is a gigantic scam. When you try to call, you get placed on an automatic messaging machine that takes at least 30 minutes for rude and unhelpful individuals to answer. I literally had a person tell me to cancel my order if I was so upset that it wasn't received. Apparently Ashley thinks telling people to go somewhere else is good customer service. These individuals also can't offer any information on someone higher up to talk with to get the problem fixed. Seems like a big scandal. I've filed a complaint on the company's webpage to get one email of an individual who said she would "look into it". I never received another email back even after following up. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and still nothing has changed. This is the absolute worst buying experience of furniture I or any of my family/friends have had with furniture.

I purchased End Tables online after having gone into the Nashville/Madison Store to see what the tables look like in person. When I told the sales lady that I had actually put them in cart online, she told me with the verification from the Manager that if I purchased online items, my only option would be to be pick them up at the distribution center. I told her that the information online shows that they can be shipped directly to the home. She checked with Manager and he also stated that I would need to put up the items in the closest city. Based on that information, I decided to go ahead and make the purchased a that store. The next day I found out from the customer service representative that the online purchases could and would be shipped to my home. For two weeks, I have called to get my refund of the in-store purchased. I have been given three different lies that my refund being requested and sent. To this day, I am still calling the corporation to get my money back and they just leave you on hold for long periods of time (25-to 45 mins). Needless to say, I will never give them any of my business locally or online. They are truly inept in doing retail business and they do not deserve to be in the customer service business.
