So on the morning of August 11th 2023 I ordered 2 biscuits & gravy w/ a side order of 2 sausage patties on the Huddle House app. It was the same order I had placed on the 1st of August. In my first attempt at using the app I had absolutely no issues. However, it was a completely different experience. I had issues ordering. Couldn't quickly find the menu. When I picked my order there was no prompt to send me to checkout. Nothing showed up in my "bag." I literally had to go to order history and place my order. Then there was no offer to deliver it automatically made the order a "pickup" order. When I saw this I immediately called the store in McMinnville Tn where the order had been placed. I told them the mistake that had been made and that "if they couldn't deliver my order? I wanted it canceled and a refund." Well they canceled my order but refused to issues a refund. I was told I'd need to call corporate. I did! Spoke to 2 different people. I was told they would contact me in 48 hrs. It's been 84. All I want is a refund. It is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that this company is making me jump through hoops just to get my money back. My case number is 422683.
Desired outcome: I want my $13.38 back!
Huddle House - I’d appreciate a response.
August 12th, 2022 at 8:00pm. We usually always have exceptional service at huddle house. Our waitress was busy with other customers, so we asked the other server (I don’t want to mention her name on a website) to go grab our food that was missing in our order, considering we already waited an extra amount of time because our order didn’t get put in until they remembered. She acted as if it was such an inconvenience to do so and then graced us with her sarcastic attitude while her boyfriend lingered up front and kept her distracted. Very unprofessional.
