Beware of your record's when paying your payments. Keep all, I mean all don't throw away any copies of your payment's to them! And if your thinking of doing business with them please I repeat stay away!
You are the dumdass who bought a house with no money down and an adjustable rate mortgage. Banks are not responsible for stupidity. A little common sense would tell you, you could not afford a house. I thought the military groomed boys to be men, one lesson a man must learn is to accept responsibility for his actions no matter how stupid they were.
I think the attorney general needs to look into this company. Now they are being bought out for a surge of foreclosures. It was thier fault. Their right hand didn't know what their left hand was doing. they have taken alot of houses from hard working people. They drug me in and out of court for a year trying to say i didn't make a payment, which i had the check for then they would change why they took me to court. Its a long story. But finally i couldn't to keep paying lawyers fees and my house payments, Sooo i lost my house. When i would call the customer service they didn't know nothing about their lawyers taking me to court. Its a looooong story. But to end it all i owed was the balance i had paid off the interest. I had my house for 12 years. We had no problems with countrywide until about 2 years ago, they say the surge of foreclosures have risen , no wonder where did the money go? Don't trust them and definitely keep all records... Good luck!
I would add to that, keep all the monthly statements they send you as well, it shows your payment detail so they can't alter it later.
I keep a file on countrywide, a copy of the check and when it was mailed, their statements and my cancelled check.
Please tell me your story. I go to court in 2 days and I have found so many of these that it is crazy! They took my payments also and never applied them, then foreclosed! It has been such a costly, headache. I would love to bring your story as another proof be known type of exhibit.
Thank you.
