2 night stay at Holiday Inn 805 Neches in Austin, Texas on November 25 and 26, 2019, confirmation # [protected], stayed in room 212. After check in were unable to get elevator to take us to 2nd floor. Another guest explained that you have to swipe your room card to take elevator to upper floors. On exiting the parking garage the morning of 26th, machine kept asking for my credit card. I was charged $35 to exit the garage. When I returned to the hotel, I asked a valet about being charged to exit. He informed me that instead of credit card I should have swiped my room card. Neither of the above were explained at check in by front desk staff. At check out I explained about the double charges for parking and requested a refund of the $35 that had been charged to my card. The desk clerk stated she could not give refund without credit card statement. Since that time I have called twice and sent several emails to the hotel manager at Michael.[protected]@hotelindigoaustin.com requesting contact. I mailed to Mr Ferguson a copy of my credit card statement showing parking garage charges and the duplicate billing for parking on my room folio. I requested in writing that $35 be credited to the card they have on file or a check mailed to me at 63 Fite Road, Arkadelphia, Arkansas 71923. That was on 2/18/20. I have had no response. Please follow up. The attitude of that location's staff is unprofessional and offensive. Please advise of any remedy I may expect.
