Critical incident report
John magnisalis is the banking center manager of this bank of america location. I drove to this location to use the atm for an account balance and mistakenly left my debit card in the machine. Normally, I do not go to this banking center because of the poor customer service that is everpresent. I was running errands in this part of town, and wanted to get my checking balance. Of course, it was not long before I realized that I had not taken my card out of the machine and I drove back to the coppell location. When I arrived at the bank, the manager of the bank, john magnisalis listened to my situation and said that it would be about 20 minutes before I would be able to see a personal banker.In the lobby, there was another man who was waiting in line to see a personal banker as well. I sat in the lobby for 1 hour waiting for another debit card to replace the one that I had left in the atm machine. The one personal banker who was assisting a client assisted him for over an hour! The manager was just walking around and finally assisted the gentleman that was in line before me. Another woman was actually taken before me who had been waiting only 10 minutes and the manager also assisted her but acknowledged that I had been waiting and was in line before her. He assisted her anyway and I had to wait 15 more minutes. Finally, mr. Magnisalis assisted me and it took only 5 minutes for him to replace my card and give me a new debit card. I let him know that the reason that I did not bank at that location anymore was because of the poor customer service that I had experienced in the past.In general, the tellers are not friendly and the overall good feeling that is welcoming in most bank of americas is just not there in that coppell location! Mr. Magnisalis told me that he had heard that complaint before from other people. I also told him that I had changed my bank to the kinwest/macarthur location in irving because the bank is so friendly and has superior customer service. At that location, there are people greeting me at the door and the tellers know and address me by name.

I knew this manager and the branch has not been the same since he went to Merrill Lynch, great service to myself and my family, he has been missed.
