T.J. Maxx - store did not accept return that was purchased at another location

Tjmaxx does not have a policy in writing that claims they will not accept return items from homegoods/tjmaxx. We've been a loyal shopper at tjmax for over 10 years and have never experienced such discrimination on returning an item. We purchased a decorative item from homegood/tjmaxx in allen, tx because it was only available there. A few weeks later we wanted to return the item and while we were conveniently in the frisco, tx shopping area, we wanted to return it there [tjmaxx frisco]; and was declined by the store clerk. The store manager vangie reid did not want to take the item at her store and insists that we return it at homegoods/tjmaxx. We told her that in the past we have return other items from other homegoods/tjmaxx stores here [tjmaxx frisco] and it was accepted. However, she declined our request and said "have a nice day." and walked away. We were outraged and asked for the corporate telephone number and vangie gave us the homegoods/tjmaxx allen, tx number. When we called back asking for the cashier name that initially refused the return and vangie said "all you need to know is I am vangie. Have a nice day." and hung up. And so with this aweful experience, we will not shop at tjmax frisco, tx ever again! Vangie not only made it inconveninently for us to return a decorative item but she also discriminated us.

T.J. Maxx - returning an item and was discriminated

TJMAXX does not have a policy in writing that claims they will not accept return items from HOMEGOODS/TJMAXX. Typo: The store manager Vangie Reid did not want to take the item at her store and insists that we return it at HOMEGOODS/TJMAXX. (since I could not edit this complaint I am commenting the typo)
