I purchased the H-E-B Netspend Debit card because I needed a prepaid card to add funds and with those funds I was planning to pay a 200$ deposit for a credit card. As I was activating my debit card online, an error occurred, and stated that I need to call the customer service number to activate my card. As I was in process to call customer service I noticed an email that stated my address had been updated with the H-E-B prepaid website. So I called and the animated lady told me my card was successful activated. Hanging up the phone call, I logged onto my online account and was told that I would need my ID, SS#, and a utility bill. I figured I could do this at my own time, being that this would be a one time use for this card. I went to pay my security deposit and it kept saying that I needed to check my payment information. I re entered my card information twice, and It still did not work. It came to mind to check my account online to see if my funds were still available, but I was locked out. I am planing on calling Netspend in the Am, and if I'm not satisfied with the results I will be going to H-E-B to speak with a store manager.
The next morning I called the customer service number on the back of the card, sent in the documents that were needed, and my account was unlocked and all my funds were available and still at 200$. Thank you Jesus.
