Kroger - Manager

June 23,[protected]@2:30pm.

Kroger location Red Bluff and Preston Pasadena, TX.

I'm in this store almost on a daily basis cause I buy items per meal. Today I went to get one bag of Kroger tortilla chips a loaf of bread and a pack of Kroger sandwich meat. At self checkout I scanned All three items and put them in the plastic bags and when I looked to pay for them only the bread (1.39) was showing scanned. I turned to an employee that was walking past me and said "hey it's not scanning the items. That's when the employee turned out to be the store manager decided to grap the two items out of the bags and in a loud accusing voice said to the employee that was working the self checkout lanes" Hey he's got items he put in the bags that he didn't scan "! I said to this guy" hold up, I just told you that they didn't scan "! As everyone in line was staring at me thinking I was trying to steal a $3.99 pack of meat and a $1.99 bag of Kroger chips and the manager talking loud so everyone could hear, got him very close of having a bad, painful day. After pointing out and even showing him the cash I had in my wallet $8500! The employee stepped in and re-ran the two items which he had to do twice on the chips and four times on the pack of sandwich meat cause the scanner wouldn't read either product. That's when I turned and asked the manager what his name was, but he just looked at me and huffed under his breath and walked off. And was only told when I asked another employee what his name was but was only told he's the manager and this is his store. So as to not get any of them in any trouble I left it at that and am now sitting in the parking lot writing out this complaint. In my past days he wouldn't be walking out of the store today pulling what he did. But trying to not be that person in my past, I thought that this would be the correct way of handling the situation. To let others know what type of manager Kroger has working for them and also to say turning the other cheek as they say will happen only this One time.

Desired outcome: Would be a complaint filled against this person and that it would be in his employment folder permanently so other's can see.
