I have been hearing great reviews about the restaurant and decided to try it today (8/4/2022 @ about 11:48 am). I ordered The chicken fried steak, corn and mashed potatoes. The curbside delivery came out 8 minutes late, the steak was warm, corn was warm and mashed potatoes and gravy was cold. The biscuits were fine. The bag had some gravy on the handle and underneath and got on my uniform. I thought my 1st time trying this place would hold up to my friends reviews of the food. Order #[protected]
Desired outcome: A refund would be in order.
Cracker Barrel - Management treatment of their employees.
I was at the Pearland restaurant with my family and I witnessed managers Devin and Julius being very rude and abrasive with an associate. If they have an issue with her performance then you do that in the office. It was very embarrassing and degrading to her. Very unprofessional and disrespectful to address issues in front of customers. I'm a Kohl's manager and although I'm not perfect I do know the right time and place for that kind of conversation belongs in the office. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable for her. I will not be back. I won't give her name but she apologized for their behavior which tells me they bully her often. I'm ashamed of Cracker Barrel for allowing this to happen. Shame on you if you do not address this and stop this behavior.
