WorldMark by Wyndham - vacation/timeshare ownership

The sales person we had, Tumora Mead, told us everything we wanted to hear. We told her we wanted to go to Maui for our 40th anniversary; she said no problem. She told us there were resorts on Maui. We told her that since we are retired, we wanted to travel a couple of times a year to other places also; she said no problem. She told us we could go anywhere we wanted and anytime we wanted. We found out when we tried to make a reservation that WorldMark has no resorts on Maui. The VIP (phone) staff told us we could check with the Club Pass Department (a $99 fee for that service) or try RCI to try for a spot. We called RCI and had to pay a transfer fee ($239) to get on a waiting list. Just to get on a list - not for a reservation. Now we know we can't pick up the phone and get a reservation just like that. We found out it is more like 8-9 months out which is a lot different than just anytime we want to go. Tumora lied to us about the availability due us, even at our VIP status. When Maui fell through, we thought about Sedona or Phoenix or Tucson. We tried to get reservations at these resorts too. There was nothing. Probably that was ok in the end. We saw online that the rooms in Sedona were not the same quality as those we saw in San Antonio. In high excitement and anticipation of using the points as the sales reps told us, we paid this off nearly immediately. Since we came to the realization that they lied to us about what we could do with the points that we have, we will need this canceled and all that money refunded. Tumora talked a quite a clip, inserting personal stories, asking a lot of questions, and generally confusing us with her experiences and our expectations. Between her and the sales presentation and closing this went on for 5 ½ hours. There was no lunch; only a few granola bars and water. So in addition to the confusion in general we were starving.
At the end, we got an Amazon Fire tablet with our documents on it. Well, it is supposed to have the documents on it but we are unable to retrieve them. No one told us about a rescission period. We decided to buy the membership based on the things Tumora told us. She lied about the resorts available to us and the ability to travel as we want. A contract forces both sides to go by the agreements in it. We agreed that we wanted anytime and anywhere vacationing and the ability to go to Maui. Tumora guaranteed these things. Now that we have found out she lied, and they are not able to keep up their end of the deal, we expect them to cancel this. It was fraudulently done. Lies. Omissions. Failure. We want this canceled and all money refunded and that is about $30, 000.
