ReservationDesk.com - Hotel reservation

On February 2, 2020, I made a reservation on the Country Inn & Suites website for a stay from September 4, 2020 to September 7, 2020. When the reservation was complete I received a confirmation from Reservation Desk.com which I believed was associated with Country Inn & Suites. On August 20, 2020, I called Country Inn & Suites to change the reservation to September, 11 2020 to September 14, 2020. I was told that would normally be fine but since I made the reservation with Reservation Desk.com I had to make the change with them and I should contact them. When I contacted Reservation Desk.com I was told I could not cancel the reservation. I spoke with somone who was very difficult to understand and sounded like he was on the other side of the world in India. I repeatedly stated that I did not want to cancel the reservation just change the dates and that they would not be out of the money. I asked to speak to a supervisor. This individual was also very difficult to understand. This indivual again told me I could not change the reservation. I am so infuriated that this company can attach itself to a reservation made with Country Inn & Suites. I am also pusuring a complaint with Country Inn & Suites. Reservation Desk.com action is causing me to lose $805.38.

ReservationDesk.com - motel reservation

I attempted to call Holiday Inn Express in Redbluff Ca on 11/23/2019. I asked if I was talking to someone at the hotel desk and was told I was.

I was lied to. I was actually talking to a third party employee at: Reservation-desk.com.

My credit card was charged $118.72 for the room and another $39.90 in taxes, fees and service charge for a total of $152.62.

The hotel gave me a receipt showing charges of $93.74 for the room and another $9.37 in taxes for a total of $103.11.

So Holiday Inn Express charged the third party, reservation-desk.com $103.11 and reservation-desk.com charged me $152.62 thereby pocketing an extra $49.51.

I am looking for a billing adjustment credit of $24.98. This is the difference between the room cost $118.72 and $93.74.

I have contacted reservationdesk.com support, sent them the hotel receipt showing the room charge of $93.74 and requesting that they credit me $24.98 on the card. Surprise, surprise... no response

Reservation-desk.com is dishonest company.

ReservationDesk.com - hotel booking overcharge

Their number appears on a reservation page of the Birchwood Inn, Harbor Springs, MI. Not sure if it's their website or a Google search result. When you call it you don't know you're calling a third party. All questions regarding who they are were avoided. I was threatened with my room not being available anymore, so I felt pressured to book with them and gave my credit card number. After he'd processed it he told me the full price, which included a fee not mentioned before! He then quoted the cancellation policy saying it was non-refundable. I was on the phone for one hour, trying to dispute the issue. I was tricked into paying a higher fee for my booking. The Birchwood Inn was sorry, but is powerless to get the overcharged amount back. I don't recommend anybody use Reservation-Desk.com because they will rip you off!

ReservationDesk.com - payment not received by hotel - so I was double charged

I booked 2 nights at the Hampton Inn in Pittsburg, CA. When I checked out the Hampton Inn billed my credit card for the room. The room was prepaid on the same card through Reservation-Desk.com. When I contacted Hampton Inn to have the charge reversed they said I was charged because the payment info they received from Reservation-Desk.com was invalid. On top of it all - the double charge from Hampton was $84 less than Reservation-Desk. Pay attention to who you book a room through! Do not use this company.
