Conservice Utility Management & Billing - Over charging for monthly water/sewer usage

I live in Andover Park, Kansas City, MO. Conservice has been sending estimated water/sewer bills from June 2022 thru December 2022, resulting in over charges to several apartment units in this complex. My bills have at least doubled since being estimated. I am told Cohen-Eserey, the property owner is in contact with Conservice to get this resolved. I am tracking my monthly usage vs. Conservice estimated usage and look forward to a significant refund.

Conservice Utility Management & Billing - Common area water and server charges

I live at Notch 8 in Alexandria and the use Conservice to calculate and billl water and sewer charges for our individual units as well as the common areas water and sewer charges. When we first moved in Jan 2018, at that time we payed $20 / month for common area electricity and that was it as far as common area charges. Since then they have added $15 / month for garbage and charges for common area water and sewer bills, which vary wildly and sometimes are greater than the charges for our on units. In December 2021 our common area water and sewer charges increased 600% to $64.00. Even though we haven't been able to obtain a copy of any bill supporting this charge, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that comnon water and sewer charges shared amongst 253 units is $64 given that we have 3 bathrooms and 2 showers in the comnon areas that have been lock most of the time since COVID started. We do have a swimming pool that is 10x20x5 that was open limuted houra from Memorial Day to Labor Day. When we first questioned the charge we were told that there was a problem with the end of season pool maintenance and the pool had to be drained and filled a 2nd time. This doesn't make sense, draining and filling a pool of this size doesn't get us close to the amount we were charged. Per our lease, we are allowed to request copies of the utility bills and a detailed explanation of the calculation of our charges. We paid the charges we were billed in full each month, but we have been paying the common area water and sewer charges separately and by registered mail and letter disputing the charges and requesting the billing detail for these charges. We did this in Jan 2022. After 3 months and multiple reasons for the delay, we finallly received a response from the buulding management. They said they could not provide actual bills but they provided totals for each of the last 6 months of the water and sewer bills for the whole house which includes 253 apartments and Giant grocery store In addiition they provided a generic ConService flyer that gives a generic a high level example calculation for a ficticous apartment. I am sorry but this is not accetable. I am not willing to accept that just because ConService is a national company that their billing is accurate. CAM charges are not intended to be a profit center and the calculations are supposed to be transparrent and reconciled periodically to ensure accurate accounting of these charges.

Desired outcome: I simply want to see a detailed calculation of an actual bill that ties to the amount they are charging me for common area water and sewer.

Conservice Utility Management & Billing - Billing for sewer charges

I am being charged 150-170 per month for sewer charges which makes the whole billing amount to 250-270/month. Why am I being charged so much when the same usage used to cost me 95/month 2 months back (whole bill amount). When asked where to see the units spent for the previous months vs now in the meters that I can see, there is no clarity as to where I can check that. As a solo resident, it doesn’t make sense that I have to pay 250-270 per month to conservice for this.

Desired outcome: I’d appreciate a response back and refund for the overcharges.

Conservice Utility Management & Billing - Charges for water and sewer from months ago, prior to lease

Trying to charge me for water and sewer from June to October last year prior to leasing this apartment. All previous bills here were paid in full. Then made up an excuse that it was from my previous apartment. A simple BBB review will show you this is an unethical company that scams renters via the management companies they work with. They are NOT a BBB member for obvious reasons.

Desired outcome: Removal of erroneous charges, TX Office of consumer affairs kicks them out of doing business in Texas, DTPA claim made

Conservice Utility Management & Billing - Difficult i

I have received a invoice/ statement pertaining to a delinquent bill. Being had issued through Altitude on 5th.. I figure their must have been some type of type! Yet time and again my email addresses has received these email since April of 2019. I had contacted Altitude on 5th to address this matter and was (aid there has not been a individual of that name and there is no access on there behalf to Conservice utility company.. I ask that this, matter be addressed immediately due to having my name on your (Conservice Acct) having never resided on a property of your jurisdiction. Thank you Sherri Hamann
