I own a small travel agency in Fredericksburg Virginia. I spent several months coordinating 6 people (3 cabins) on Viking Cruise sailing July 29, 2020. Passengers paid in full almost immediatley. Last week, Viking cancelled the cruise due to Covid-19. I understand the need to cancel, but they refuse to protect my commission! I did my job! I earned my commission! Viking cancelled the cruise, not me, not the customer! Of course, Viking expects me to reach out to my customers and arrange refund (they do NOT want credit). Viking still expects me to keep working for free! This is simply NOT fair. Obviously, this is not the only cancellation that I have dealt with, but so far...the first cruise line that refuses to protect my commission.

I truly hope that we can come to some type of resolution, even if it's partial commission.

Still no call...no resolution.
So...I received an email (not a call) from Viking representative. He offered to host a cruise night in my area to promote new bookings? No thanks! That is NOT a resolution. I do not wish to promote Viking cruise lines for future bookings. Why would I trust them to partner with? They expect me to work for free with zero compensation! I was hoping for a compromise, but their offer to further promote their product is a NO GO.
