I bought furniture at the end of april from the ashley in manassas virginia. What a big mistake. I finally received it in june but one of the couches I ordered was on backorder. So I cancelled it and bought another chair which I called them and that was fine with lance the salesmen. No problem, last friday I went into the store to see if they sold teal pillows and check on my bill. The girl that was at the desk said we have your chair in the warehouse and we can deliver it on monday. I said that would be great. They e-mailed me later that day and said delivery is scheduled for monday june 28th between 11-2. Then on sunday they emailed me again and said the same thing. I confirmed it and said ok. I waited home all day on monday and no ashley. I called the warehouse monday around dinner on my landline and put the phone on speaker and left it on my island. An hour later they picked up. They said we have you scheduled for tuesday morning between 11-2 and again they said yes your chair is here and everything is set for delivery. Tuesday no ashley and I stayed home all day. So I was so upset I drove over to the store where I shouldn't of wasted my time. I met with the arrogant manager who didn't give me the time of day. He said I dont know what happened but your chair wont be here til august. I guess they sold it to some else. Where did you get this [censored] of a jerk? First of all he had this speech about where the furniture comes from and how it gets here, I was not a bit interest. He had no management skills, no education, didnt know how to talk to customers, didn't know how to resolve problems, was a foreigner who was pitiful and you could tell had no experience! The speech he made to me sounded like it was rehearsed. A five year old could of done better. He said we gave you a fantastic deal. Sure you did. The chair went up in price when I cancelled the couch which was more expensive. Also I was told if we give you a package deal you have to take the protection plan lance the salesmen said which was a lie and I fell for it to the tune of $299.00 which I didnt want and still don't want. Lance said he would throw in some lamps and charged me $100.00. I could of gotten them off of line for cheaper than that. The total of the bill was $2395.98. It should of been $612 for one couch, 169.99 delivery charge, $952 for two chairs and $100 for two lamps that he said he was not charging me for. Since I have a masters and education unlike the people who work for you ashley owes me well over $562 if I ever get my chair or they will owe me more. And I certainly dont want in store credit because I will never set foot in ashley again. I guess I am not all with it since I just moved to northern virginia and trying to move in a house and my husband dying of dementia a few months ago at 67 years old. And then ashley takes advantage of me. Where did you ever get the clown of a manager? I did talk to some of the employees who have brains unlike the manager and they said everyone has problems with him. He always thinks he is right as wrong as he is. And to top it off never even said he was sorry about them not delivering my chair. It was almost like get the hell out of here. I have talked to alot of people and they all said at one time they had problems with ashley. But they are smart. They dont go there anymore... Thank you!
Desired outcome: I want the charge redone and this issue resolved ASAP
