My move in date was scheduled for Jan 1, 2023, for a 5x10 climate controlled storage space on the 2nd floor. My husband and my brother in law went to store our things when the elevator door closed, leaving all of our things inside the elevator. It is Jan 2, 2023 and my things have been stuck inside the elevator for 24 hours. Customer services is unhelpful, sending us down a rabbit hole, asking us to contact the property manager. This property manager never answers the phone, leading me to believe that this is either fictious post, or a ghost. The guy up front named Edwardo Gonzalez is rude, and unhelpful. When I asked for the district managers number, he refused to give it to me, because apparently my things being stuck in an elevator is "not an emergency". He claims he is only paid $10/hour so it is not his concern to worry about anything beyond admin work. We are still waiting for someone to come and fix the elevator. I have wasted two days trying to fix this mess, and my things are not in a safe place.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement through one month free rent.
