On July 11, 2020 I purchased an L shape sectional from the Woodbridge Bob's Discount Store Furniture. Couch was delivered on July 28 around 8:am. When the delivery men were about to put the last piece inside the house they realized they had two of the right arm not a left arm. Their suggestion was to leave the all the pieces in place and take the wrong piece back to the warehouse. They spoke w/Veronica and emailed their dispatcher or warehouse about the incident . I briefly spoke w/Veronica too about the problem and she said she will be sending a message to customer service with the pictures. I tried contacting customer service all day on July 28 without being able to speak to anyone and every time I called was 1 hour wait. On Wed July 29 I started calling since 11am. at 11:19 spoke with Janet, she was not from customer care so she took my number so they could contact me. At 1:24 I called back again because I had not hear anything from anybody, I spoke with Janet again and she said she was trying to get a hold of customer care too and that they will contact me. Around 1:45 Sheirly from costumer care contacted me and we went over my order which it was right but the mistake came from the warehouse. The only solution she offered was to send me the left arm missing until August 18 because they will not received shipment until August 17. I requested to speak to a supervisor because that would be a 3 weeks wait and I will have an incomplete piece. Britney from corporate office came to the phone and advised me that our conversation will be recorded and that the only thing that they could do was to send me the piece on August 18 because once the furniture is delivered and in the house they cannot take it back even though that was their mistake. I wanted them to come pick up the furniture and get a full refund because there is no guarantee that the piece will be ready on August 18, but they refuse because of their policies.
I told Britney we will not use the furniture and that it will be cover until the other piece is here on August 18 and in the event that the piece does not get here they need to refund me the money and take back the incomplete order. Customers should not be penalized for the store mistakes.
Bob's Discount Furniture - Worst customer service... Terrible company
I ordered a dining room set a month and a half ago which still hasn't arrived. They have scheduled delivery on four different occasions, two time of which I took off work, and each time they called last minute to either push the delivery back or send a partial order. They finally showed up with the furniture yesterday, the delivery driver got an attitude with my wife, then left without delivering the furniture. Now, they call me telling me that since they didn't deliver it, they are giving it to the next person in line so I'm not going to have my table to basically another month. They are punishing me for their customer service. Worst company I've ever dealt with and I'll never go there again.
