Les Schwab Tire Center - Rotors and brake pads

I have a 2008 Lexus RX350 and Scotty Kilmer on YouTube told me to stay away from aftermarket parts for this particular model or any Toyota model for that matter. Les Schwab gave me a quote to replace my rotors and brake pads for $450 plus tax and I ask for my original parts and they said they use aftermarket parts and I thought he was going to tell me it would cost more which I was prepared to pay. knop! He went on to say; they will change my calipers' also. I replied, I didn't want my calipers replaced, he said that was standard. I have had my past vehicle serviced there in the past. Oh, no wonder I had brake problems on my Lexus ES300 in the past. They sabotaged my car and every two years I had brake problems. I found my original parts would last me at least five or more years longer. I learn from my mistakes which will never happen again. Whatever happened to the customer has the right to request they're OME parts?

Desired outcome: Give me my original parts AND DON'T REPLACE MY CALIPERS!

Les Schwab Tire Center - tire repair

I have been disappointed by Les Schwab service before, but they did not do anything to harm my car. On 11/11/2010 I took my car in for a tire repair due to a nail puncture. Typically I do that repair at home, but this time the repair require a patch from the inside of the tire. I called about 30 minutes prior to bringing my car in and confirmed that the price for the repair is $13.75 (too good right?). Drop the car off then waited in their waiting room, which is a bad idea. I usually stand around to keep an eye or 2 on all service guys to make sure they don't pull anything shady, but I let my guard down this time. About 20 minutes after they have my car and the tire removed from the wheel, a guy (whose name is Andy) came out and let me know that the nail that puncture my tire had caused major damage to the inside layer and they recommended a new tire which cost $228. I refused their recommendation and took my tire home. Next day, I re-examined the tire and the damaged area and found that it was not caused by the nail, but with left over rubber shaving of sign being grinded :(. What can I do at this point? I have pictures of this as prove if anyone is interested. DO NOT go LES SCHWAB for anything as their business is based on lies and scam!

From the photos you have attached, it's clear the tire was unrepairable, both because of the size of damage to the inner liner and the area of the tire that was damaged by the nail. If any questions about what repairs any reputable shop will do, you might google RMA tire repair standards, it will show your tire was definitely unrepairable. Any loose rubber in the tire was caused from running the tire underinflated, not from being improperly buffed.
