Value Village / Savers - cashier/“manager”/price changing/price gouging

On Thursday, May 30, 2019 at approximately 10:50am I was checking out. I had filled my cart with all of the bigger mason jars a basket that didn't have a price and a 6 inch ceramic vase that was cracked I was planning on using for a house plant… When I got into the line I asked the gal for a price on the basket. Everything else had tags on it. The vase was marked $.99 on a green tag and was half off that day. The cashiers name was Marta. She called over the "store manager" who tells me she had to take the basket to the back to be priced, this was right after the two had a conversation in Spanish accusing me of changing the price tags… The cashier had already rang everything else up including the ceramic vase. The "store manager" Left for about five minutes and because I had a 20% off coupon I didn't want to pay twice so the cashier got mad that I asked her to wait to rain the rest of my items up. When the "store manager" Came back she had priced the basket for $1.99 on a purple tag and also reprice the ceramic vase for $2.99 on a purple tag making it not half off anymore and two dollars more... Not realizing I speak Spanish and was fully aware of what they had accused me of a question why the price was changed. I again asked to speak to the "store manager" and again the same gal comes over and refuses her name. She tells me that the base had been put out The day before and never would've had a green tag on it. I then told her to go review all the cameras in the store and watch me and tell me where I change the price target because I did no such thing. I have four children and do all of their school clothes shopping at value Village, all of my clothing and husbands. I also have furnished my home with thrift store items. After this incident and being so completely mortified, insulted I am beyond embarrassed I will never step foot in another value village again. Not only did this happen but the prices in the store are outrageously priced. Who in their right mind would go and pay $50 for a $20 shirt? I don't know what is going on with this store but it needs to be fixed. You cannot have employees insulting customers, you cannot have employees accusing customers of changing tags without proof. So is soon as I walked out of the store I called their corporate office, "savers"... I was told the district manager was going to be calling me in 4 to 7 business days. Later that afternoon I got a call from the store manager. The district manager couldn't be bothered… My question is if I'm having an issue with the store manager why would you have that person call me? The woman who called me clearly was not the woman I dealt with in the store and was not concerned that the person in the store was passing herself off as the store manager. I called corporate again, the guy on the phone couldn't understand why the store manager called and not the district manager so he escalated it to the regional manager who again couldn't be bothered and has not returned my call. I gave them a chance to rectify the situation, they obviously don't care, but I do care. This is discrimination no matter which way you look at it. For an employee to come over and start talking about a customer in front of the customer in a foreign language is discrimination. On top of changing the price they refused to remove the ceramic vase that they had already rang up at $.99. It's not that I didn't have $.99 to pay I was paying for an item I was not receiving. How is that fair? How is it fair to pay extra money for an item you're not getting? She says well it's only a dollar… So how many customers just pay only a dollar extra without receiving anything? What are they doing with all these extra dollars? They certainly are not putting it where they say because they're being sued in Washington state for that exact reason claiming they support charities but they don't. So value Village I just want you to fully understand because of your discrimination from your employees you will not get our business ever again. I will make sure that I have a big mouth and less than that I let everybody know what happened… Since you can't seem to rectify it, call me back or even apologize for the situation I will make sure everybody hears about this.
