on July 04, 2023, I filed a claim for my lost/broken completely damaged phone, and the claim went for review. I called July 05 2023 to get an update on my claim, yet I was told it would take 24 hours. I explained 24 hours had passed, Asurion associate asked me for 2- 4 more hours to wait. So I called back within that time and another Asurion associate advised me I needed to fill out the affidavit I explained I had done the affidavit already the Asurion associate said no let us do the claim again. I asked the Asurion associate for what then the Asurion associate advised me "If we redo the claim it will be faster", I then agreed. I called again on July 6 2023 and I was advised that the reason why my previous claim did not go through was because it got stuck in the review process. When the Asurion associate did another claim I advised him it was not necessary as I started a claim on July 04, 2023, Asurion associate then advised that the phone needed to be off which the phone was off, then I was asked to remove the phone from my find my devised which that was done, I then was asked to call back. I called back and went through a discussion with another Asurion associate stating " Verizon Wireless was not releasing the phone information and that Verizon web was down. I then called Verizon and the Verizon associate called Asurion (she) Verizon associated advised me that Asurion was never denied access to my account. I then was transferred to an Asurion associate and nothing was done because the Asurion associate (she) threaten me unless I take the device to be turned off and removed it from my to find my devices my claim would not be approved I explained that the phone was off and that the device was removed from find my devices. Asurion associate hung up on me. Then called Verizon and explained what Asurion has put me through every day I have advised Asurion
since July 04 2023 I need my phone as I work from the device I was going to lose my job. On Thursday, July 06, 2023, I went to the Verizon store and explained to the Verizon associate what I was going through with Verizon and Asurion that it was important they help me with the claim situation. The Verizon associate spoke to her supervisor at the Verizon store. The Verizon associate called from her device and the Asurion associate made the Verizon associate file another claim and affidavit. When the claim was done Asurion associate asked to talk to me. She Asurion associate explains it would take another 24 hours I then explained that Asurion has been giving me the run around for days and that I needed to attend my job if not would lose my job but I needed my device by July 06 2023 the latest so the Asurion associate understood I then asked for a supervisor/manager to review everything. It took a while for (him) Asurion associate to answer and then take my $99 to cover the cost yet I was advised by the Asurion associate that Asurion did not have my iPhone Pro Max 128 GB in blue as it was in back order. I explained to the Asurion associate that is not true I was told from the beginning Asurion had me covered and that did not happen. Asurion associate promised I would have my phone delivered Friday morning. Today is Monday, July 10, 2023, I have not received a phone nor an update my bank covered the fee I have been paying Asurion as agreed, I just lost my job now who is responsible I did call every day yet nothing has been solved. Now I'm jobless.
