On 2/11/20, We found a truck that we had been looking for and saw that it was available at the above dealership. I gave my contact information online and I was contacted by the dealership at 8:45 A.M. that morning and was asked when we would like an appt. to see the vehicle and talk to a salesman. We made an appt. for 1:00 P.M. that afternoon and was told to ask for Kal (the GM) when we got there. We received an email from salesman Graham Robson at 11:30 A.M. stating that he was looking forward to meeting us and to let him know if we would be arriving late or early, to let him know. We arrived agt 1:00 and asked for Kal and he introduced himself and we let him know we were to meet with Graham about the truck. He said that Graham would be with is in a few minutes and then he said that he would grab the keys to the truck and pull it up front for us to look at. A few minutes later, Graham walked up to us and told us that the truck was no longer available and we asked him then why did Kal (GM) tell us he was going to drive the truck to the front of the store for us to look at? Kal then came back up to us and told us that the truck was picked up that morning from another dealership and was sold. We asked Graham then if that was the case, then why didn't we receive a call then letting us know that? We drove 1-1/2 hours round trip, gas and mileage and wasted our time. We are very upset about this! Kal looked and said that there wasn't another vehicle like that within 500 miles - he looked and found one in Minnesota but didn't have everything we wanted on it. He then told us our only choice was to build one but not for same sale price! Really? We wallked out of the delaership very upset! We had been looking for this truck for a while now and finally found the one we wanted only to be shot down! We have been loyal Chevy owners for a long time and have NEVER received such terrible customer service before! We usually deal with Lynch Chevrolet in Kenosha but this delaership had (as website showed) the vehicle wanted and at the price we wanted. We feel we should have been accommodated and offered a truck with those same options whether build your own or have one shipped there at same price offer. They said they were sorry and this has never happened before and that was it so we walked out of the dealership very upset! Apparently they weren't interested in dealing with us and the whole experience seemed shady to us! Our 40th. anniversary is next month and were going to make this purchase as a nice git for us but instead turned into a very disappointing nightmare! Not sure that we will stick with Chevrolet purchases from now on after this!
