on this date, 11/11/19- I called this Holdiay Inn Express, South Charleston WV and I have NEVER encountered such a rude, unhelpful and agitated behavior from a GENERAL MANAGER. I cant even recall his name. From the time he answered until we hung up, he was so short with me, not wanting to explain anything I ask. I am a social worker at a Cancer Center and I was told by my patient they were staying there, through Logisticare (Medicaid provided service). I know with the other motels I have dealt with, the motel AGREES upon a fee (they only pay a certain limit), they have to have some sort of web service which to schedule or bill. that part isn't my area of expertise so I don't know that process. Anyway, I am told they are accepting them. I call to inquire and assure this is approved. I also ATTEMPT to explain I have another patient and he is so rude, disrespectful and short with me, I finally just hung up. All i kept getting from him is "Maam all I know is they send us a corporate credit card.
Whatever is going on with this manager today (or whenever/however long he is in this frame of mind), he needs some help in calming down! I just want to hope and pray he doesn't treat your customers as he treated me. You definitely need to assure this because I personally will never stay there or recommend it as well. I am still shocked at how he spoke to me.
