We purchased in Dec-2018 what we thought were tickets to the Dolly Parton Stampede in Branson, MO through the website bransonshows.com (which is a front for VME). You think you are buying tickets but you are not. We selected the option to print tickets but what you receive is an email to print instructions for how to pick up your "voucher" at their office. I called and was told I had to physically go to their office to pick up the voucher. The voucher is NOT a ticket. You need to take this voucher to the box office of the theater to get your real tickets. And the fine print on the voucher says that if you don't collect your tickets 1 hour before the show, the tickets may be resold and VME keeps the money. When I went to collect the voucher at the VME office, the employee said he would not give me the voucher unless my wife was also physically present since I added her name when I bought the supposed tickets. So I had to bring my wife in at which point the sales pitch to buy their other non-tickets commenced. Finally he gave me our voucher at which point I noticed the fine print about needing to pick up the tickets early or lose them. I can't believe this company is even legal.
This company is a scam. Thought I was on Pirate Voyage website to purchase ticket. That was not the case it was a third party company that charge double the price of the tickets. Asked them to refund/not debit my account because it was not pirate voyage. They refused. I had to dispute with my bank to get transaction removed
AVOID THIS COMPANY!
Purchased Branson MO show tickets online through Vacations Made Easy (bransonshows.com). Prices were mostly much higher than box office. They refused to mail me the tickets. Only 75% refund available. There was no seat selection. I was forced to go to their office in Branson to get ticket vouchers. The office is not marked "Vacations Made Easy." There were no representatives from Vacations Made Easy at the "Ticket Office." The people there offer you deals to attend a time-share presentation. But - Vacations Made Easy is not alone in this deceptive practice. There are places all over Branson with discount show ticket signs with hidden time-share commitments included. We did get the ticket vouchers, but after turning down time-share presentation offers, the people (from Wyndham Resorts) became rude. Bottom line, avoid Vacations Made Easy like the plague. You are best off purchasing show tickets online directly from the theaters unless you like attending time-share presentations in which case you might get a discount.
I also learned the hard way! Rude people!
This was our first visit to Branson and we went through VME to purchase tickets! What a mistake! No electronic tickets, had to drive to physically pick up tickets. High pressure to tour a Windham property. After much pleading and a $200.00 prepaid card and a voucher for a 2 night stay at hotel. We went to the “not your parents timeshare presentation”. We were told we were crazy for not wanting this great deal. The first offer was only $775.00 a month with a $123.00 maintenance fee. After I refused that the second offer was $235.00 with another maintenance fee. I told the guy I was not interested in either. He bought his boss over so he could tell me I was crazy. They were so rude! I also made sure I went to the desk to get my $75.00 back in my credit card. I did enjoy my meals from the $200.00 card I received. After reading the fine print on the hotel voucher it is only valid Sun - Wed and there is a 128.00 booking fee! Book your tickets at the theater! Stay away from these sites, and there are a lot of them!
