So I just wanted to say something NICE about this company since no one else apparently is
So I just wanted to say something NICE about this company since no one else apparently is. April I got into a car accident in my actual work parking lot. I unfortunately failed to yield and couldn't see behind a tree and I pulled out and clipped my coworker coming out the other exit if our workplace. I didn't have insurance simply because I couldn't afford it. I was a 21 year old single mother making 8.50/hr. But this is MY fault. Not State farm, who was their insurance provider, and not VW when I was unable to pay and it was sent to them. Now I won't lie, the first few months were very rough. VW required $500 down to start a payment plan. My biweekly paycheck was $460 roughly. So I was unable to do that. That being said, my license was suspended. They waited longer than they could have. This was around August/September when I still couldn't make this $500 deposit payment. Skip forward to May . This is when my license was officially suspended. So they waited a long time. I didn't actually know it had been suspended at the time yet because I never received a letter which I do believe is the DMV of Iowa's fault not theirs. Later this same year (2018) I think in November? I was ready and more financially stable to be able to make payments. I was now a CNA making $12/hr. I called, they now wanted $900 deposit to make payments. Ok, so I definitely WASN'T ready for that. I will be very honest and I was not nice to my representative and I am still sorry about that. Her name was Rashida (I am pretty positive I didn't spell this correctly, I am sorry!) After a few phone calls to her I was able to calmly ask if we could lower the deposit. She requested a $500 deposit for me and it was approved. So I was now on a payment plan of $137/mo until it was paid off. I rounded up to $150/mo because it was easier for me. There were multiple months where I wasn't able to make my payment on the actual 7th of the month when it was due. My representative was very nice and worked with me to let me pay it whenever my next payday was as long as it was paid in the same month. When I paid the $500 deposit they immediately released my license but Iowa gave me a automatic 1 year suspension so I was unable to get it back until May . But again that's on me not them. Flash forward to January , I made my final $150 payment! I was officially paid off and it was a huge relief. My total bill was $3,9xx. I called to make sure there was nothing else I needed to do. I was told I'd get sent a release in the mail and I actually never received that. So after reading my book I just left, I just wanted to give them a positive note. Everything that happened was because I was irresponsible, they're just doing their job. Stop treating them like ***. Thanks VW, my 2.5 year relationship with you was actually a positive one!

"harrassment" due to fictitious overpayment
I have received a bill in the amount of $192.90 The Hartford #3 account number [protected]... I have tried to find anything that correlates to this bogus claim, to no avail. I will NOT be reimbursing ANY falsified amount as there has been no proof whatsoever that this so-called "overpayment" ever occurred. This is merely an attempt of big corporation taking advantage of individuals following dramatic/traumatic situations. I consider this to be harassment and demand it be stopped. I will not be taken advantage of is matter any further.
Collection account from Vengroff Williams
I received a letter stating I owe for a creditor called I haul overtime and I have not used a u haul in decades and this bill is for 665.21 so that’s a lot of u haul. I do not owe this bill and I want a bill showing I rented a u haul from where and when. I haven’t moved in years and if I did I would of paid for the moving truck at that time I don’t know if any moving truck that you don’t pay when you drop it off so if this goes on my credit report I will be seeking legal action against this company I want this fixed asap and taken out of my name. I also will seek restitution if it’s not taken care of. I’m tired of these companies going after money that isn’t legit. If I owed a bill I would pay it and this is not mine or has nothing to do with me. The account number is [protected] and want to know where they said I rented this from.
Desired outcome: Get this out of my name and I’m sending them a bill for $1000 dollars for the stress this has caused me. Maybe these companies would make sure the debt is legit before the tried to ruin people’s credit
Auto accident
My car was parked at home and my ex got into an accident Vengroff is coming after me a single mother of 4 they have suspended my License they bullied me the first time around and I emptied out all the money I could find to get my License back because they told me they couldn't do lower than 300 a month I explained ot them I was a mother of 4 with no help I ended up speaking to the same supervisor who said there was nothing he could do I dind't realize until after I went through my emails but he never admitted he was the one who put me in a dead end payment to set me up for a loss my suggestion to anyone who is dealing with this File Bankrupt to get your debt excused and that can reinstate your License this company has been very unfair they tried to say I defaulted on a payment plan we never drafted up it was a verbal agreement in April but because they suspended my License I couldn't' work to make money and Ken Stover doesn't care he told me because I don't' make enough he is sorry I am mismanaging my money how is paying all your bills mismanaging money ? Just because I don't' make enough and going through a divorce and I was a battered women I'm less than ?
Desired outcome: I tried to make a payment today but Ken Stover told me I would have to keep making payments until they thought it was good enough they wouldn't give me an release all .

Vengroff Williams sent me a bill from an unknown entity in Las Vegas
Vengroff Williams sent me a bill, received 11/17 from an unknown entity in Las Vegas. I never rented anything from them. It is fraudulent. I received a call in April from an unidentified caller in Las Vegas claiming I owed money for a unit I supposedly reserved. I hadn't been to Las Vegas, as I live in southern California. After several calls, I resolved the fraudulent rental issue. No one had shown up to rent the unit. I thought the matter was settled until I received a bill from Vengroff Williams, Inc. claiming I owed $112.90, dated Nov. 6, 2020. The account and reference numbers were provided, and the creditor was named as 'Credit Charge Back'. I have not visited, called, rented from, or reserved anything from this entity. I owe them nothing.

Vengroff *** Inc sent me a collection notice for UHaul in the amount of $442.70. I have never done any buisness with UHaul.
I have never lived in Florida; this is NOT my account and I have never had any "reference number", "account number" of any type ever with this creditor "Uhaul Overtime", never had prior communications with this company or Uhaul. I am responding to them as a goodwill gesture that " this is not my debt" . The wording is vague, no other information about past payments, statements, etc. If this turns out to be a scam or something concocted by an unstable employee, etc. I will contact my family attorney and sue.

I received a collection bill from Vengroff Williams, ***. stating that I owe $225.81 to an ***. of which I have never been to. I received a collection bill from Vengroff Williams, ***. stating that as of December 18th I owe $225.81 to an ***.I have never been to or heard of this company. The collection later does not provide any details of what the debt is for and what date it occurred. When I called the number listed on the debt collector letter, it goes to voicemail and I have not received any call backs in return. It provides an account # of XXXXXX and a reference # of XXXXXXX. Also, I believe this is a false claim as the address it was sent to is not the address listed on all my medical documents. In addition, I have never been contacted previously in regards to this bill.

My daughter went to the doctor to get stitches for an accident she had at home. The medical claims were paid for by our health insurance. We have started receiving letters from this company asking for information and if there was any other insurance that needs to make a claim. They have now threatened to start delying the payment of claims by our medical insurance if we don't respond.
I recieved a bill on 3/25/2022, from VWI for a client CEI Services. I have never heard of CEI services or worked with a company by that name. They are seeking my insurance information and payment for a accident I was never in. I have no accident on record nor has my insurnace received any claim. I have called the number on the bill numerous times and get no response back to get further information on this fake claim. I want a cease and desist in place to be removed from this business. They also aren't using my correct name, which shows this is fraudulent.
I received a letter today from Vai Subrogation, Including. They say I owe $5, 348.65 from some claim that I know nothing about. No explanation, nothing. When I called all the numbers I could find for them, I just get voicemail. I don't know what is going on and I can't get any answers. The only other things they said was that the client was ***.

BILL 1: dated 1/18, acct XXXXXXX, ref# XXXXXXX amount $592.00... 2nd bill: 2/11 same acct # and ref #, now asks for $1515.00. more detail I received a call regarding my Aunt *** Vengroff stated she owed $592.00 via *** I said I would pay it if I had proof of what this was for. Please send it to me. That worried me that I gave them my address but I did. They send 1 bill on 1/18 for $592.00. then bill 2 on 2/11 for $1515.00. same acct AND reference number. Why does a bill triple? My aunt is on Medicaid she is 83 years old. I asked them to document the services, not just send the bill. they only sent a bill then another bill. I believe this is fraudulent and they are asking seniors to pay something that was not processed correctly via Medicaid. I can send the copies of the bill if needed

I received a letter from Vwi Subrogation, Inc. demanding that I pay them $1,157.60 for damages as a result of an auto accident. No other details were provided, but they wanted the name/policy number of my insurance company. Neither I nor any of my cars have been in an accident. This is an apparent Phishing expedition or a blatant attempt to get money from an unsuspecting individual, and appears to be an attempted fraud. I am attaching the correspondence I received. I have responded to them via certified mail

On December 15th , I had gotten a voicemail from Jaima at Vwi subrogation, inc. The voicemail said something in regards to a auto accident. I was never in a auto accident. I will upload photos of my vehicle. I spoke to Jaima the following day. She was very nice, and helpful. I asked Jaima was there a police report she said, "yes". I got the report #, and in the process getting the report. Jaima said the report was made by a driver stating I hit their vehicle, and drove away! This is crazy! I cannot believe how someone could falsely accuse some else of something, and then get a collection agency after them. I just received a letter from Vwi Subrogation, Inc. yesterday 12/19. Vwi is trying to collect for the amount of $1637.58. I requesting my legal rights to dispute this false claim with State Farm insurance company. I have not lived at the addressed shown on the letter for over a year ago, and I have not been in a auto accident.

Vengroff Williams sent a Validation Notice for a debt claim from a credit company.
Vengroff Williams sent a Validation Notice claiming to represent a credit company and stating I owe $1,012.91. I dispute this charge. The notice, which arrived in a plain envelope without a postmark, lacked documentation. It lists an account number, reference number, and the date October 09. I rented a trailer in Jacksonville, Florida, and paid $40.61 with my credit card. Subsequently, a charge from a moving company in Montana appeared on my card for $1,012.91, which I did not authorize. I filed a dispute, and my credit card company initiated a fraud investigation, resulting in a refund of the disputed amount.

i had gotten into an accident and the insurance company put my account into collections with vengroff williams VWI
i had gotten into an accident and the insurance company put my account into collections with vengroff williams VWI. i have made the $500 payment needed to get conditional release, all other payments are up to date with them, i signed and got my papers notarized and i have been waiting on my conditional release form from them. they have been giving me the run around & putting off sending the release to get my license reinstated. they have told me for the last 3 days that i would have my released signed and notarized from them and sent to me i was supposed to receive it on 10/11, on 10/12 and again on 10/13. they have continually given me the run around after they have recieved my money and my part of the contract signed and $500 to get the release. they are doing this deliberately as they have waited 1 year for my payment agreement. i paid full amount needed, they are a small debt collector they know there is nothing i can do unless i have the release form from them.

A VWI Subrogation Inc rep, named Chris D
A VWI Subrogation Inc rep, named Chris D., constantly mails a claims form demanding $2,467.15, leaves harassing voice messages, threatens that my living wages will be garnished, & my license will be suspended if I don't pay them. When I spoke to Chris D, she lied & said a police report shows that I was at fault. I informed her that I have the same police report & it reads that I had the right of way, & the other driver failed to yield to a slow-moving vehicle. Then Chris D. replies, well, I'll just have to cancel your driver's license & hung up on me, she is so unprofessional, & the lies are ridiculous. I have the pictures of the damages (not worth $2k) & I have video footage from the accident because I have rear-facing cameras in my vehicle. I saw the other driver coming & he was speeding, as I was already in the road, fully backed out of the driveway. The SUV driver was not paying attention to my red rear indicators or listening to my car horn, therefore, he was distracted.

I was involved in a car accident in Roanoke VA on 5/29 wherein the police officer did not cite either party for the accident that occurred. However, I had to be tranported to the hospital wherein I was dx'd with fractured sternum and pericarditis b/c of this accident. I didn't sue the other driver, nor did he sue me and no insurance carrier sued either party. However, a firm called Vendgroff & Associates who supposedly represents FedEx, my employer who paid for my medical, Vendgroff put a suspension on my medical benefits through my employer for a subrogation. No lawsuit was initiated by either party involved in the accident. No monies were exchanged as there was no lawsuit. This is a false claim by Vendgroff with nothing to back up a subrogation claim. I have written them and talked to them and each time they have told me that they understand there is no claim made by either party, yet are fasifying a subrogation claim. This is harassment made by them and they are currently blocking my health care benefits with my employer for them making something up that isn't nor has ever occurred.

I have received a collection notice for something that was still being investigated by the original "creditor" and can't reach creditoragency by phone I'm writing this on behalf of my wife, as she is 9 months pregnant and due to give birth any day. We received notice of our bill going to collections from another company. We were aware of the bill being outstanding, but had been advised many times that this was being handled on their side and the bill amount would be corrected due to a contract they had and was in place with our provider's office. This other company is clearly extremely fraudulent as they told us several times they were handling this and not to worry as the bill wouldn't go to collections, oh and only that they could discuss this over the phone and not via email. Regardless of that, they now told us they can't handle the invoice as it's gone to collections. I need Vengroff to answer the phone and cancel this collection for my wife, as it needs to be handled with the fraudulent company Progenity, who's known for these fraudulent business activities. Please close out and send back the bill to Progenity, for reference # XXXXXXX, as this does not belong in collections, and Progentiy must honor the contract they had and stop taking advantage of people through fraudulent healthcare billing practices.

On November 9th, I motorist flew through their red light without stopping and making sure the lane was clear as required by Georgia state law. As a result, I had no time to react and just barely was able to avoid slamming into their back. As a result, my vehicle scraped their front bumper trying to avoid a head on collision. The driver admitted fault at the time of the acvident citing "she thought it was a filter lanel and I am not sure how that was even a thought. She begged for me not to call the police which I had already done, and begged me to Tell them not to come as she did not want to involve her insurance and would pay me out of pocket for damages. I agreed and called the cops advising them not to come. I called her insurance myself to make them aware of the claim and all of a sudden I get a letter in the mail from this company advising they are seeking payment for HER damages when she was at fault by ignoring her stop light. I am not paying anything, as my own vehicle still needs repairs and i was NOT at fault. I hope this goes to court because this will prove that she ignored her stop light and the accident could have been much worst had I not been paying attention. This company is a joke and surely will be wasting money since they have not studied basic driving laws and Georgia law in particular. They need to stop contacting me and force the at fault driver to pay for this accident and leave me alone !

Bill issue with former internet provider who failed to deliver service
Bill issue with a company that was my internet provider for two years. They stopped providing service, so I switched providers. They're charging me $147.33 as a stop service fee, despite a two-week outage. Paying $55 monthly, I couldn't use the internet for work or personal tasks. Calls to customer service were met with outage excuses. The issues started after a company takeover. Living in a rural area, the new company struggled with repairs. Necessity forced me to formally notify them of my switch. At times, I resorted to using the library for internet access. Research on the company reveals widespread dissatisfaction with their service. Five months later, a collection agency, Vengroff Williams, demanded payment. I was under the impression that the issue was resolved, as the provider had opened two cases and promised reimbursement for the service outage. Now, they're threatening my credit score. Amidst a global health crisis, it's appalling to face such corporate greed. I refuse to pay for non-existent services and will contest this aggressively. I've settled my final bill and found a reliable provider, MTE. Vengroff Williams, notorious for customer distress, will also receive a letter from me. Legal action against such fraudulent practices should be considered.

I would like to peacefully resolve my issue with an individual who will properly verify their identity, rather than resorting to intimidation
I would like to peacefully resolve my issue with an individual who will properly verify their identity, rather than resorting to intimidation. I'm concerned because an agent of this business, Max L., refused to provide me with validation paperwork for a contract #XXXXXXX, and now may be dinging a stranger's credit report because he does not wish to arrive at a resolution of this issue. He sent an invoice to my email. When I responded saying I believed I had paid this bill, he said to provide "check number, date and amount or, confirmation number if paid via credit card." Then I realized he had nothing to do with the company that I believed I had paid, and I grew concerned this was a phishing or other scam. I asked him to verify his identity. He told me he provided validation paperwork, and I asked him how he provided this validation and he just said to *** and I informed him that I have never lived at that address, and was expecting some kind of response. When I didn't get one, I assumed he was a scam artist. A couple weeks later, I get a call from an Orange County Number from Mr. L. I'm very thrown off by this request because it was not follow up but a demand for payment. I ask him to validate his identity and he immediately became hostile and told me that I was asking questions because I clearly did not want to pay my bill. This was a disproportionate response to my request for more information. So, I feared that he was not a true collector but someone who did not want me to ask any questions and simply wanted me to pay him the money out of pure fear. It almost workedI remain irrationally afraid of his threats. But, a close relative was scammed last year by a man claiming he owed money to the IRS, and I also know many scammers target people with an immigrant name. So, I asked him where he thought I lived and he said California, which was incorrect (and I haven't lived in CA for 6 years). He said if I asked anymore questions, he would just ding my credit report. I found this to be concerning as well since there was no way he could actually get me if he didn't know anything about me (such as my address), and my name is quite common, and threatened to report him to the CFPB if he was a scam artist. This seemed to set him off a bit, but I think it was appropriate. I attempted to follow up with him (can provide the call and email records but it seems unnecessary to expose his email and phone number for public viewing), but he once again refused to provide the validation paper work or even have a conversation with me. It was extremely unsettling. Fortunately, he did provide me the name of his companywhich seems like a minimum requirement. I found the company on the Complaintsboard.com website, called the company to follow up and was informed that he is employed there, and *requiredto provide validation paperwork. Now that I know he's not a scam artist, I am still extremely concerned he has simply negatively dinged a stranger's credit report because for whatever reason, he had no desire to engage in the proper resolution of this issue.
