Great experience
I ordered a dress for an upcoming wedding and ordered 2 different sizes, XL & 1X because I didn't know which would fit better. My measurements are bust 42, waist 38 & hips 43. The 1X was WAY too big and though the XL fit I wanted to try a Large. I was able to call customer service and the representative sent out the Large with free shipping and my account will be credited once I send back the dresses I chose not to keep. The customer service was excellent and I found the dresses to be of quality. The bottom of the dress was different than shown on their website but that's nothing I can't work with. I wanted to leave a review but I could not locate a tab to do so even though there were reviews for the product listed. I sent an email to the appropriate department but I haven't heard back from them. They have a 90 day return policy and though I haven't sent the dresses back in order to see how they handle the credit I have to say that so far overall I had a very good experience. I do have friends who have ordered swimsuits and sun dresses and have been just a happy with their experience therefore leading me to order.
First time shopper and very impressed
This was the first time I shopped at Venus.com. I was a tad skeptical based on some not-so-great reviews I read concerning the fit/quality of the clothes and the return process. Well, I took a chance and ordered some clothes for a Vegas trip. All in all I ordered a dress, wedge sandals, skinny jeans, and 4 tops. Everything fit true to size, looked the same as it did online, and the quality was really good too. I did have to return a few items but it was because I changed my mind. They provided return shipping label in the box and the instructions clearly indicated that if I used their label I would be charged a shipping fee of $6.75. No big deal. In about a week I received an email saying my return was received and I should expect a refund within 5-7 business days. I got my refund the next day. In some of the reviews I read some folks were pissed about that fee. Honestly, providing that label upfront and just offsetting my refund was a heck of a lot easier than wasting a lunch break, standing in the line at the post office. I have been very impressed by the whole experience with Venus.com and will definitely continue to shop there.

I was reading the reviews I have been ordering from this company for 40 years. I have never had anything but awesome things to say about this place. The clothes fit me perfectly. I absolutely love it and I was really compelled to write when I saw the one stupid review that it was racist. I'm so tired of people falling on that. And before you get all snooty about it my grandchildren are African American. So stop using that as an excuse maybe your credit just was not very good. All you other idiots stop ordering stuff that isn't your size! I have never had a problem with returning anything to this company and I happen to love their clothes and always get compliments on anything I wear. In fact I got a wonderful compliment on a bathing suit I wore on Block Island that I got from this magazine and they recognized it! While I no longer can wear bikinis I can certainly wear their tankinis! And the dresses have never ever failed me. Stop blaming the company. Stop trying to squeeze into things that don't fit you. And the customer service is always been awesome. Why do people feel compelled to always write nasty things? You've done a wonderful job and I will continually order from you and I will just now place an order in the next day or two. So don't disappoint me! LOL! I just felt the need to put something in here because I am so tired of people being mean. Half of it is their own fault.
Lifeling Customer but you gotta BE SMART
I'm very surprised by all the negative reviews. Okay... everybody knows that these are a little overpriced. But I have received tons of compliments on these clothes because the styles are always different/original. Most of their clothes are made for 20 year olds with flat stomachs. I'm 44 and curvy and I'm able to wear their mediums comfortably. If you're looking for high-quality- last forever- clothes, these are not for you. You have to hand wash them cold and hang to dry. I've been buying their bathing suits for the past 10 years and have always loved them, and since I rinse them in cold water with their mild soap every single time I wear them I can get two or three seasons out of them. They have the over- the- shoulder- straps that are hard to find. I always go to RetailMeNot and get a coupon for free shipping. Furthermore, if I have a return, I simply call customer service and ask for a return code to put on the package so that I do not have to pay return shipping. Use your brain people! Finally, I must have called them over 20 times in the past 10 years. They are always extremely extremely courteous and helpful. Yes, I've been screwed a couple times and had to pay return shipping fees. That's why you really should know what size to order. I'm 5' 5", 155 lb and D cups and I always order a medium in their shirts and eight in their pants. I order size D cup even though they say to order up, and I order a 10 in the Bikini Bottoms.
Excellent Experience
I received a catalog in the mail one day and my husband saw a dress he really liked for me. I'm a researcher when it comes to ordering from new sites, so I went online to look up Venus.com. I was disconcerted when I saw all of the negative reviews online--so much so I went searching for a similar dress elsewhere. I couldn't find anything, though, so, despite my hesitation, I decided to give it a try. On a Friday night, I ordered three items so I could get the free shipping. Some of the reviews suggested the sizes were off and returns were difficult, so I made sure to look at the sizing chart before selecting my sizes. I was nervous upon hitting that submit button. Within the hour I received the confirmation email that they received my order. The next day, to my utter surprise and delight, I received an email saying my order was ready to ship and would be sent out Monday. Sure enough, Monday night when I checked the tracking link, the order had been picked up by UPS Surepost with a Friday delivery eta. On Friday, I checked my mailbox and there it was. I was excited and nervous at the same time, certain something wouldn't fit right. I tried on all three items and they all fit perfectly... Just as the sizing chart said they would. I couldn't be happier with my order. I will definitely be buying from them again. I don't expect every order to be perfect, but the first one was and now Venus has a new loyal customer. My advice to any skeptics: CHECK THE SIZING CHART, that's what they are there for. Don't assume you know your size. Every company's sizing is different.

I've bought from Venus for the past 3 years and they are perfect! Sexy but classy is all I can say. There's a huge problem going on and ppl are using Venus's pictures and they're are taking orders and they're making the clothing as they go. It takes forever for the clothing to get to you and the clothing isn't made good at all and the customer service from these ppl are just ridiculous! These ppl are pretending to sell Venuses stuff and Venus is paying for it in a huge way. Ppl don't trust them, ppl are giving Venus bad reviews, ppl are accusing Venus of things and Venus is trying so hard to STOP these ppl from doing this by suing them because they are selling you things that aren't venuses products. Please do your research before you get something that's not made from Venus. It happened to me two separate times. But not once with Venus. I called Venus directly and the woman I spoke with was extremely nice. She said she has to explain to so many that they're legit and all kinds of things. I honestly don't think they deserve any of this. It's not coming from Venus, I can guarantee that you will get exactly what you order and you'll love what you order. Just make sure it's straight from Venus, don't look at a picture and click on it cause you saw it in Venus cause you won't get what you ordered. Customer service is always pleasant and their clothing is always perfect when it's straight up Venus. Get catalogs and order from them, don't order from Amazon cause again they're just pictures and not straight from Venus. I've trust them and so many do as well and have been ordering way longer than I. Venus is a very trusting place.

First of all Venus is a great company, but a small one. These reviews are baffling and I've never experienced what the hell you are talking about. I've been a customer for years. Most of their clothing is good quality and looks like the picture, minus a few rare exceptions. There clothes run large. As far as paying $20 dollars for some fee I've never heard of or had to ever do, there email communication is great. They send an email within an hour or two saying they received your order and list what you bought and the total price, along with your oder number and date purchased, and by what method you used to pay for the items They also send you an email when your order has been shipped, usually about 5-7 business days after, which is normal, unless you paid for expedited shipping, or overnight. The shipped email gives you the date of the order, and a tracking number. Now, if you ordered a bunch if separate orders, it's difficult to track which one it.is because in the shipped email they don't show you the items you ordered, like in the received email. So, you can call and give them the order numbers of one order, or many that have shipped and asked exactly which items were shipped.AS far as the backorder thing, obviously you people don't understand how it works. First off, it will say on the item page if the item is on backorder, and it gives you a date of availability. You can still order it and you will not be charged, until it comes in and is shipped. They send you an email and will say, "item backorderd" or something, and give you the date of its arrival. It will also give you the item info and it's cost, although the number is zerod out because they don'the take the money out, until it is shipped. Whether in a 1 item order or several items in an order you'll see a zero next to it. Also, the backorder date is sometimes pushed back, due to their manufacturer, so it's best to call about what's going on with it. You will also receive an email when your backorder has been shipped. Their customer service is wonderful, unless you're just a complaining and difficult $#*!. Alot of you sound ridiculous. In fact, alot of the stuff you've claimed happened and $#*!ed about has NEVER ON CELEBRITIES happened to me. Not getting orders, or emails, the company just cancelling your order for no reason, $20 dollar fees, horrible customer service, etc. As far as their return label goes, yes they will charge you $6.95 independentlyft or deduct it from a refund. You don't have to use either the UPS or USPS label and go to probably the USPS and send returns back for cheaper and Venus won't charge you. They give you a prepaid label for convenience, especially if you have a ton of stuff to return that would probably cost more than $6.95 anyway. Now, their exchange thing is easy. You take of the bottom portion of the shipping invoice, don't check the box for a refund, check the box that says you want to exchange the items below, then you fill out both the left and right of the sheet. It's pretty self-explanatory. Then, if you want 2 day delivery, you have to pay $6.00 (you write it in the box. Then you're done. They don't need your credit card or Venus Charge to exchange or return. They just need the piece of paper you filled out and put in the bag, with the items. They have the order number on the paper. That's all they need to do is pull up you payment info. Then, you'll get an email from them, when they get your return, and the refund or exchange will be on there. I don't understand why people dislike their exchange policy. It's easy. Venus is awesome. Maybe some of you are just brain dead.

The whole thing was a disaster costing me money without the clothes
This should have been an easy exchange... nothing about it was. I've shopped with Venus before, and even though I'm Canadian and have to pay a lot for exchange and to get it across the border ($45 on top of the $125 American or $177 Canadian I had to pay for 5 shirts) I continued to use because I hate the mall and like their styles. I've recently lost a lot of weight and none of my clothes fit me. My order was placed on March 28th, and I received the email to pay the $45 for duties and taxes on the 29th (each item had the fee attached. Each were paid in full) let me remind you that In reality this is not a great deal as I've paid over $200 for 5 tops but have committed to it and am ok with it because I liked the items. On April 1st I received another email asking for the same duties and taxes fees. I went to the online chat and was assured that a duplicate order had been sent out by mistake and that I hadn't been charged. Just don't pay the fees... when I looked at my account it seemed to match up. 2 separate orders with the same 5 items and 2 different order numbers. As I wasn't receiving updates I contacted them again and they told me that my order had cleared customs on the 6th of April and would take 3-5 business days to reach me. Why did it take 8 days after my payment to be released? I kept waiting and nothing came. Finally on April 16th I received 1 of 5 tops with 1 of 1 stamped on the receipt. I phoned Again and was told that there must have been a mistake and they would re-ship my order but I would have to pay the $45 fee to get it through customs again. I said not a chance and was told, maybe it's coming wait a few days. I did... nothing. So I called again and in the meantime had a request from "landmark" to review their shipping, and I did. I was told by both Venus on the phone and landmark/Venus email in regards to my review that it wasn't a duplicate order in the beginning, but that my order had been shipped separately by accident and that no need to worry I would get it 3-5 business days after and the fees were paid in full. One week later I received a delivery ticket from Canada post saying my mail was ready for pick up for the fee of $49 for customs. I had zero faith that this was actually resolved in the first place and was not surprised that this happened. I tried to explain the situation at the post office and they couldn't help as expected. It's their job to collect the fees attached. I left it there and phoned Venus again. They had zero resolution for me after speaking with a supervisor aside from sending me a link to go through landmark to get the duties and taxes back after paying a 2nd time. Totally unacceptable as you have to fill out forms, provide receipts and other crap and mail back in hopes that they'll hopefully refund you. I spent 30 mins on this call and was told by the CSR that I'm so sorry and I wish I could send it to you personally and that Canada post is notoriously "nasty" to deal with. Unsatisfied with the resolution given I phoned back again and spoke with an angel. I don't understand why this company is at fault for screwing everything up on their end would not try to compensate me in order for me to get the items I've already paid for in order to make up for a very negative experience and maybe just maybe keep a customer. If she told them my issues they'd try to resolve it in an actual way that a company trying to keep and make people happy would. But no... she completely empathized with me and tried very very hard to no use. In result I went back to the post office and tried to explain again and show proof... being government they can't just waive fees. I had no choice but to send the package back.
I waited almost a month for this, and truthfully have lost so much weight that none of my clothes fit. I work a lot and don't have time to go to the mall to shop. I was so hopeful for this and you guys are a huge let down, over $45 and responsibly for your mistakes and my wasted time which is over 2 hours. Shame on you.
Credit refund
I purchased clothes from Venus totaling $138.99. I returned all the items as they did not work for me. I was issued a credit from Venus for $136.47, by way of an E-Certificate. I went to use the E-Certificate and it would not accept it. I called Venus gave them all the information to include the E-Certicate amount and credit amount. They said I had to go through Comenity Bank as that's where the refund was sent. On December 1, 2022, I wrote a letter to Comenity Bank explaining the situation. I provided my original order number and customer number. I received a response back on December 16, 2022 from Comenity Bank asking me to call the bank. I called the bank and again was told that they did not have any balance or credit on my Venus credit card! The bank told me to call Venus back. Today, December 29, 2022 I called Venus asked to speak with a Suoervisor, who told me that they do not have anything showing a credit and the E Certificate was no longer valid! They verified that it was never used. I spend thousands of dollars a year at Venus. I will no longer be a customer.

In may of this year I purchased clothes from Venus fashions. In June I returned several which I never got credit for. I contacted Venus which they claimed they were going to do a research and told me that I have to pay for it I will not get credit that they never received it which I know is a lie. I've emailed the CEO and president of Venus fashions, multiple times. No one has responded to me. I looked on the better business bureau and they have so many complaints against them.
Desired outcome: I want my $130 refunded, I was honest with them I expect the same thing
gift cards
I was given a $50 gift card for Christmas. When I tried to redeem it, I was unable to apply it to my purchase because Venus does not allow split tenders. I was told by customer service that my order needs to total exactly $50 (the amount of the gift card) or a little less. They would keep the balance on the gift card. This sounds ok, except you will never be able to redeem the balance on the gift card because nothing on their website will be the exact amount. So if you have $10 left- too bad.
This is extremely shady and it should be illegal. I will never shop there again once I figure out how to redeem this stupid gift card. I'm sure if this was told to my sister, she would have chosen a different store to purchase a gift card from.
global landmark charged customs fees and refused to return
I have been long time Venus wearer...I absolutely love the quality and style of clothing. Prior to I would always call in my order and this was first time I placed order online. I was advised by email that to ensure a rush and no problems I had to pay Global Landmark for customs fees prior to. WELL...what a total scam! In 25 years this was very first package lost, then they refused to return my money for lost package. THEN I decided to do research of this SCAM company...whattaya know...hundreds of complaints of people saying couriers are inputting false info into system! This is EXACTLT IDENTICAL to what I said...was home all day...my 3 dogs and me would have heard yet...they said delivered...but of course no actual details! Why dont they require them to put a detail to prove? Like delivery to brown mailbox.
Anyway...hundreds of fraud complaints...then Global Landmark not only defrauded people but a company acting on behalf of others like Venus should know better and actually RETURN MONEY TO CUSTOMERS...
Venus and anyone else using this company...drop them...they obviously are untrustworthy and don't care who they hurt! They make YOUR name look bad on reviews.
not getting a refund
After returning a duplicate order in full to venus. I spoke to a rep who confirmed the return and a refund of 115.98 for goods received. After 3 weeks and repeated phone calls I was told it had been paid into PayPal who confirmed it had not. I was forced to open s dispute.in Jan the money went into my account. I had received a comp voucher for my inconvenience which I used to order a swimsuit with 2 weeks ago. I rang to ask were it was this morning and was informed my account was on hold and that I owed 97.68 I couldn't believe it. the woman I spoke to was rude and basically said I was deceitful. Would not listen to me I have never been treated like this by a company I was a very good and promp paying customer. sent my product to the wrong country
I ordered a bathing suit from Venus probably last September. In October, nothing arrived. In November, I received an email that my order had been REFUNDED much to my surprise. I telephoned to ask them why it was refunded. They stated that it had been sent to the wrong country (Australia) and when it was returned, they issued a refund. They never contacted me at any point, and I wanted the bathing suit shipped out. They told me that I would have to RE-order. Now they screwed up, but they wanted me to reorder and repay for the same item. Mind you, currency exhange rates are different all the time so the refund was actually far less than the item I bought. So I ended up paying for THEIR mistake. They refused to RE-send the item to me and said "YOU MUST reorder." In most decent companies, they will send out the item or reship immediately, however VENUS refused to do so. I paid for their mistake (for the loss in currency between the time I ordered and the time of refund) and then they wanted me to order again. Shocking service - I will never order from this company again. They have no integrity whatsoever.

I spent over 2 hours choosing nice presents for my female friends (yes, I am aware of their taste in clothes, plus I was looking for little things like scarves and so on). I put in the cart all of them. Then comes one important detail: I was distracted by a phone call, I answered, returned and saw that all of the items in the cart disappeared! Twelve items that were scrupulously chosen! Appalling!

No matter how many times you order and how precisely you choose your clothes according to their sizing charts, the sizes will be smaller or bigger, but never right.
I would call ordering from them a complete waste of time and money. I ordered 4 times from them, gave them 4 shots, thought that the wrong size was my mistake, but no! It's theirs.

Made a large clothing order to get my promised $50 gift card. Never showed up. Called up and politely complained. Promised repeatedly it would be sent, No compensation offered for my time & energy spent to hassle the co. Called "customer service" once more. Obviously by the way they reacted the gift card was never sent. Cheap quality and has nothing to do with what's shown in the pictures. Absolutely terrible. Like it was a curtain, not the dress. Plus for some reasons they canceled my order without asking me, without notifying me. They said it's because my item was out of stock. So what? Why would it be a problem? I would have waited. When I contacted Venus customer care team and asked what was going on they were not able to explain anything. Their rep said that I will be given a refund. That was fine, but I still asked him to explain in details what had happened with my order. I did not receive a reply.
I really hope I'll get my money back. There are a lot of negative reviews online and after reading all of that I feel quite nervous.

This is absolutely horrendous! I bought some items from them and must say that quality was very poor, definitely not worth the money I paid.
When I contacted Venus Fashion support and told them that I wanted to return everything due to poor quality they replied with an automated message and said how happy they were that I was their customer.
Next time I told them that I was filling a dispute against them and reporting the to BBB and received another message. Again it was just a computer generated response. They said "thank you for shopping with us" and etc.
I was not able to reach a real life person to discuss the situation! Terrible service. Or should I say - terrible that there is no customer service! Venus is a total joke, don't deal with them!

If you order online they will send you an email saying that all canadian orders are subject to duty and taxes upon delivery. This is not true!
If asked, do not pay upfront duty fees to landmark global!
I order online all the time and maybe 1/100 times you will get charged duty. However they said that if I didnt pay $8.29 cnd for duty/taxes to their affiliate company landmark global that I would be charged an additional $8.50 processing charges on delivery along with whatever duty/taxes I was charged on delivery. Basically pay duty/taxes now and save the processing charge or pay duty/taxes on delivery and also pay processing charge. So I figured they must know what they are talking about and paid the charge to their company landmark.
My mom also placed an order, by phone and was never told about an option to pay ahead with landmark. She expected to pay duty fees upon delivery. (We both had items shipped to same address and her order cost more) her order was left at her doorstep and she did not have to pay any duty fees whatsoever!
So I called the company and they said landmark is a shipping company that handles the duty fees and pays them on your behalf to the government. By choosing to use landmark you also get your package sooner. None of this was mentioned in the email they sent. The email only said that landmark was used to pay the duty fees ahead of time. The email said nothing about landmark being a shipping company.
Had I known that there was a chance I would not have to pay duty/taxes, I would never have chosen to pay ahead with landmark. Venus has 0 knowledge of how canada customs works and should not be shipping to canada.
this is exactly what I've gone through. And I've been a customer for a long time and something has changed. Insane costs and not required. I believe that they are making money off of us...
Terrible Canadian experience...
Very similar thing happened to me! I’m in CAD and didn’t realize they are not CAD friendly. Throughout the shopping process and on my receipt it didn’t say it was $US anywhere (despite having searched Venus $CAD). There was an additional shipping fee, and a little later I received an email with two more charges: Duties and taxes. In the end I paid nearly $40 more than I expected to for a swimsuit.
I will not buy from this nasty site again!
I have purchased leggings from venus and when i received my order and tried them on i found a small hole. I contacted customer service and asked for a replacement but they claimed that they can't accept the defective item back! What they tried to say was that it was my fault! I explained that when i received my order hole was already there but these scammers said that i was a liar and that they stand behind their product. They did not help me and i did not get my money back! I will not buy from this nasty site again!
