I booked a jeep trip in Cyrpus in October advertised on the link here:
https://www.viator.com/tours/Paphos/Full-Day-Jeep-Safari-to-Troodos-Mountains-and-Kykkos-Monastery-from-Paphos/d5629-39522P49
The website was advertising that the trip would take us to the Kikkos Monastery amongst other activities. I booked the trip specifically as I wanted to go there. When I joined the trip, I realised during the day that we would not be going to the Kikkos monastery but doing other places. The guide said that this was probably a mistake from viator as he was not doing Kikkos at this time of the year, and suggested that I contact Viator to raise the issue with them and get a refund. I therefore then made a request for a refund. When I made that refund request, the website was still advertising as Kikkos monastery. I then received an email from Viator saying that my request for refund was rejected. I then therefore went back on the website to take a screenshot that they were falsely advertising, and they had removed the mention of Kikkos Monastery.
I therefore emailed back asking them to reconsider, and saying that I could see they had now changed the advert. They again rejected my request.
Unfortunately, nowhere on my email confirmation emails is mentioned the specific activities of the day. I emailed viator again saying that they should be able to see timestamps from website changes, and should be able to see this was changed at a date which was after my trip happened and demonstrate that this was wrong. I have not heard back from them since them.
Claimed loss: £74
Desired outcome: A refund
