Scam!
Wish I read this report before I signed on for $1 7 day Trial. Information was inaccurate on the ONE report I received. I have been attempting to cancel for over an hour, being sent around and around in circles. Today is the 7th day to cancel and the chat sends you to an email, the email sends you to a phone number. The phone number then cuts you OFF! Went back to the chat, and now they said I have a ticket in and it will be 3 or so days? The website states immediate and hassle free cancelations. LIES!
Recommendation: STAY AWAY
Ripped off
I recently used VINHISTORY USA ... paid 1$ and the VIN report had little to know info... I was then charged three times at 1$ and then an additional charge for 30.25 $... I called and was informed I had downloaded a PDF at 1$ ( which I did not do) and + paid 1 $ for the report ... when I said what about the 3rd charge at 1$ ... no response ... and I was informed that the 30.25 $ was a subscription fee ( not disclosed when I singed up) ... they refunded 29.25$... a few $$ loss isnt much ... but its the principle ... for my own mental health Im not going to waste another second over this , Ill just never use them again ...
Recommendation: Dont use them !!!
Scam!!!!!
Don't make it clear that your entering a 7 day trial that turns into 29.95 per month plus tax.
Won't respond to email for cancelation. Phone system says press 1 for cancelation and hangs up. They say on phone that your canceled but won't send cancelation confirmation email. Now I have a"ticket" to be processed in 3 business days supposedly. Told that first two people I talked to "didn't make a ticket". I'm having to report fraud and shut down the card.
Recommendation: Avoid
They’re scammers!
I ordered a one dollar one time then report and was charged one dollar upon giving my information and was told after giving my information that I would get the report on the next page but the next page asked me to give my address and email again and after doing so I click next to get the report and was immediately charged for $30 for something I do not have any idea. The charge was not from the same vendor as the first so they have somehow separated themselves. I’m guessing legally. But nonetheless, I had to go through the whole refund policy BS. I think that the Better Business Bureau should shut them down.
Recommendation: I wouldn’t recommend giving them your credit card information and I wouldn’t recommend using their services at all.
VinHistoryUSA Review: Scam Alert - Unauthorized Charges and Poor Customer Service
I decided to give VinHistoryUSA a try for a mere $1.00 search. I just needed one simple thing, which I thought was included in the package. Unfortunately, my request was not fulfilled. To make matters worse, I noticed that they have charged me $39.84 for three separate transactions that I never authorized. I was furious because I don't have that kind of money to spare. I tried to reach out to their customer service, but it was almost impossible to talk to a live person. Their help site was not helpful at all, and the only phone number I found only gave me two options. If I chose the option to speak to a live person, I would get disconnected.
I couldn't believe that this company is still in business in the USA. I wish I had read their reviews and noticed their one-star rating before I decided to use their service. It would have saved me from this nightmare. Finally, after several attempts, I was able to talk to a live person. However, I had trouble understanding him because of his accent. He promised to refund my money and cancel my membership, which I never signed up for, but the charges were membership fees. I kept telling him that I only agreed to pay $1.00, but he kept insisting that they would refund my money.
To be honest, I don't believe him. I guess I'll have to wait and see if they will keep their promise. Overall, I would not recommend VinHistoryUSA to anyone. Their service was not worth the trouble and the money they charged me without my consent.
Beware of VinHistoryUSA Scam: My Frustrating Experience
I had a similar experience with VinHistoryUSA (vinhistoryusa.com) as many others. It's the same old story, the same old scam. The live chat takes you in circles, never getting anywhere. And just when you think you'll finally get a response, the promised email never arrives. The refund that's promised every time is just to pacify you, and in the end, you're charged much more than the initial cost of $1. To top it all off, two days later, I was charged an additional $4.95 for test results that I didn’t want. I feel like a fish that was taken hook, line and sinker.
My bank was no help whatsoever. They weren't supportive and didn't provide any solutions. In the end, I was so frustrated that I had to take matters into my own hands. I've already reported VinHistoryUSA to cfpb because they provided zero help for me as a customer. I even closed my card to avoid further charges and my bank account, in case there are any future unauthorized charges.
I'm so angry that I feel completely robbed. It's frustrating to feel like there’s no solution to this problem. I've now reported them to the federal trade commission (Fed Trad Comm), but it’s disheartening to see that this scam continues. The reason for this is that no one reports them. Hopefully, my report will serve as a warning to others not to fall for the same scam.
Scam Alert: VinHistoryUSA Charged Me Without Permission & Didn't Deliver Adequate Service!
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with VinHistoryUSA. I paid for a report on my car's VIN, and it didn't even have all the information that I was hoping for. It was just kinda basic stuff that I already knew. But, I figured whatever, I'll just move on with my life.
It wasn't until 5 months later that I realized this company had been charging me under all kinds of different names. Like, what the heck? I didn't sign up for any subscriptions or anything like that. And to make matters worse, they never even sent me an email to confirm my purchase or let me know that I was being charged. So, there was no record of anything for me to reference.
Needless to say, I was pretty outraged. This company is a total scam. They claim they have a refund policy, but when I tried to take advantage of it, they refused to give me my money back. It felt like they were stealing from me.
Overall, I would not recommend VinHistoryUSA to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and look for a different company that actually delivers on their promises.
VinHistoryUSA Review: Helpful But Beware of Sneaky Sales Tactics
VinHistoryUSA is a website that provides you with a vehicle history report. I decided to try it out and see if it could help me with some questions I had about a car I was thinking of buying. At first, I was pleased to see that the report was only supposed to cost one dollar. However, when I proceeded to pay, I noticed that they also offered me a subscription for $29.95. I declined the offer, but to my surprise, my credit card got charged for it anyway, just seconds later. I called their hotline, and was relieved to find out that they have an automated refund system. They gave me my money back, and everything turned out alright.
Overall, I found the service to be helpful, but I do have to say that their sales tactics can be quite sneaky. I'm the type of person who reads the fine print, but I can imagine that someone who doesn't pay attention could easily get roped into a subscription that they didn't want. A word of advice: if you do decide to use VinHistoryUSA, make sure you check your transaction history carefully.
VinHistoryUSA Review: Scam Alert - Avoid This Website!
I came across a website named VinHistoryUSA and saw they were offering a one (1) dollar vin report. I thought to myself "what a deal" and ordered one. I received the report, but it didn't provide me with much more information than the free reports offered elsewhere. But I was charged one dollar, which is what it said on their website, so I thought okay, that's fair.
A couple of days later, I noticed a charge on my credit card for $29.95 from VinHistoryUSA. I was confused about this charge because I didn't authorize it. I immediately contacted their customer service through Live Chat to sort this out. I was informed that I had signed up for a "biweekly service" that cost $29.95. What?! I had no idea about this biweekly service and had never signed up for it. I told them this, but they still refused to credit my account.
I decided I was done with VinHistoryUSA and didn't visit their site again. However, a few days ago, I received another charge for $4.95 from them. I was angry and frustrated because I had explicitly told them that I didn't sign up for any service. I contacted their customer service once again to sort this out and received the same canned response about "we don't offer one-off reports". I explained that I wasn't interested in any type of service and that they should stop charging me for things I didn't ask for. They told me I would receive a refund if my "account is eligible". What does that even mean?
Overall, I believe this website is a scam and should be avoided. They have charged me for things I didn't authorize and have been difficult to deal with when resolving the issue. I hope others don't fall for their deceptive practices.
Warning: Avoid VinHistoryUSA - Scamming Customers for Months on End
I tried out VinHistoryUSA once, and for the past 5 months they've been taking my money without giving me the services I asked for. I called them up and told them to get rid of my info, but they just won't do it. Every week or two I find some new charge on my account, and I have to go through all kinds of hassle just to get it taken off and get my money back. I tell ya, it's really been a headache dealing with these guys.
So if you're thinking about using VinHistoryUSA, just be aware that it's likely you're gonna have some trouble with them. It's gonna be a long and tough battle, and you'll probably have to keep fighting with them for at least half a year just to get your money back. It's a real shame, too - I was hoping to get some good info from these guys, but it looks like that's just not gonna happen. Oh well, live and learn, I guess!
Scam Alert: VinHistoryUSA - A Shady and Untrustworthy Company
So, I gotta say, I had the worst experience with VinHistoryUSA. At first, I thought it was legit, but then they charged me this crazy fee of $29.95 per month, which is absolutely ridiculous! I mean, who does that?! I was totally taken aback and knew I had to cancel it ASAP.
But that's when things got super weird. I asked THREE times to cancel my subscription, and each time they were like "Oh yeah, it's taken care of," but it never was. Finally, I got so fed up that I had to shut down my whole credit card and file a complaint with my bank. It was such a hassle!
I tried to get more information about what was going on, but every time I talked to someone on their live chat, they just brushed me off and said they'd "elevated" my ticket to the highest priority. What does that even mean?! They never followed up or gave me any useful information.
It's just so frustrating. My friend and I were looking into VinHistoryUSA because we saw some sketchy dude hanging around a playground, and they promised to give us all this info. But in the end, they didn't give us anything we wanted or needed.
Honestly, I hope they get exposed for the shady company they really are. Don't waste your time or money with these jokers!
VIN History USA Review: Stay Away from this Scammy Company
I recently tried out VIN History USA (vinhistoryusa.com) and I have to say, I was not impressed. They charge a whole dollar for their services, which they claim is to provide better quality information. However, the information I received was practically non-existent.
But that's not the worst part. After I entered my credit card information and made my purchase, they went ahead and charged me an additional $24.99! The billing entity on my card was listed as HOUSE DATA FINDER, which seems fishy to me.
I have a feeling that the company has changed its name multiple times due to high volume disputes with customers, which is unacceptable. It's really frustrating that companies like this can take advantage of innocent people who are trying to access basic information.
In my opinion, VIN History USA is nothing more than a bunch of thieves who are trying to make a quick buck off unsuspecting customers. I will definitely be reporting this to the state consumer board so that others don't fall victim to their scams.
I can't believe that they are still in business and that Google is allowing them to advertise on their platform. It's really important that we as consumers do our research and be cautious when it comes to companies like this.
VinHistoryUSA: Scam or Shady Subscription Service? My Frustrating Experience
I'm so frustrated with VinHistoryUSA! I've been tangled up with their team since November 1, and I still haven't gotten my refund or heard anything back from them. It's starting to feel really scammy and unethical, if you know what I mean. Part of me thinks I should have done more digging before I signed up, but I was in such a vulnerable state at the time.
Their website is a total mess, too. They promise that you'll only be charged one dollar, but somehow I ended up with a whopping $45 fee on my credit card statement. When I asked customer service about it, they told me it was a monthly subscription plus an extra buck for every report I requested. I tried reaching out to them so many times, I lost count. I even got a "ticket number" at one point and tried pinging them through their live chat, but I just reached a dead end every time. The whole thing was a complete circus act! I finally gave up and decided to cancel my credit card, call my bank, and file complaints with ScamWatch and the ACCC.
I can't believe how much stress and anxiety this company has added to my life. I was already dealing with a bunch of other crap when I signed up with them, and now they've gone and stolen my money! Honestly, it feels like they just kicked me when I was down.
Warning: Avoid VinHistoryUSA for Your VIN Checking Needs - Scammed with Hidden Fees!
So I was curious about a car's history and decided to look up its VIN number. I was initially planning on using Carfax, but then I stumbled upon VinHistoryUSA. Their ad said that I could check a VIN number for just $1.00! I thought it sounded like a great deal, so I went ahead and entered the VIN number. The website started scanning and doing its thing, and I was feeling pretty good about it. Then, just as I was about to put in my payment information, a message popped up warning me about the charge. I should have stopped there and looked into it more, but I didn't. I figured I could handle whatever little charge they were talking about and let the transaction go through.
But then I got a horrendous shock - my credit card was charged $29.95! What on earth?! I immediately contacted VinHistoryUSA and asked them why the price was so much higher than I expected. Imagine my surprise when they told me that the $1.00 fee was just a scam to get people to give out their credit card information! Apparently, signing up for the service required a recurring monthly payment - how ridiculous! I never signed up for that, nor did I want it. I demanded that they reverse the charges and gave them my email and the last six digits of my card.
To my disbelief, the next day I noticed another odd charge of $4.95 on my account. What kind of shady business were these people up to? Thankfully, my credit card company caught this charge and reversed all the charges associated with VinHistoryUSA. I'm lucky they did, because I've heard of people who end up with billings and charges they never authorized, continuing indefinitely.
In conclusion, I'm telling you all - do NOT trust VinHistoryUSA. They're full of misleading advertisements and sketchy hidden fees. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere for your VIN checking needs.
VinHistoryUSA Review: Shady Practices, Hidden Fees and Disappointing Customer Service
So, I recently got a notification from that company that starts with the Vin report and ends with USA about having a lien on my car. I panicked and decided to give them a try, especially after seeing that they were sponsored by Google. My experience with this company was rather disappointing.
Though the report itself was pretty helpful. The price tag is where things start going haywire. I'm supposed to pay one dollar for the VIN report according to the advertisement, but then I get charged another $25. Talk about sneaky! When I tried to reach them over the phone, the line was disconnected, and I had to go to their website to find another phone number.
After a few unsuccessful attempts, I finally got through to them and opted for a refund, which is when I started to realize that something was up. The fact that they had a refund option already set off alarm bells, and it was apparent that I wasn't the only one in that boat given how long it took to get through to someone as well as the number of people complaining online.
I even tried to live chat with someone doing the same thing as me, all in vain. To make things worse, after waiting for the refund to come through, I later discovered that they had charged me an extra $4.95? at 2 A.M for what I do not know. Talk of being shady! At that point, I'd had enough and moved to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
As if that wasn't enough, I noticed that my phone was blowing up with spam calls and emails after giving VinHistoryUSA my information. Not a good look! So I went ahead and reported them to Google, praying that they'd eliminate them from appearing as one of the top "sponsored" search results.
Bottom line: avoid using this company at all costs if you'd like to keep your sanity intact.

I agreed to pay your $1 fee but was charged an additional unauthorized $29.95. Please refund the $29.95 immediately or I will file a deceptive trade practices complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Texas Attorney General's Office, and FederalTrade Commission.
Here are the two charges that have appeared on my bank statement:
Authorized Charge
Pending
Jan 16
Swipay LLC CARD#7235
-$1.00
Unauthorized Charge
Pending
Jan 16
VINREPSXXXXX4545 CARD7235
-$29.95
I have absolutely no tolerance for your company's deceptive trade practices and will most definitely follow through on filing the 3 complaints referenced above if the $29.95 charge is not refunded immediately.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

VinHistoryUSA Review: Terrible Experience with Hidden Charges and Poor Customer Service
I recently checked out VinHistoryUSA's website to get a $1 vin report. I thought it would give me more information than the free vin reports, but it didn't really tell me much. I was charged $1.00 for the report, but then I was charged $29.95. I was really confused and frustrated, so I contacted customer service through Live Chat. They told me that I had signed up for "biweekly service", but I definitely did not remember doing that. I tried to get a credit for the extra charge, but after a week of constant chatting with the company, I still didn't get any help. It was a really bad experience, and I had to dispute the charge with my bank and get a new debit card. This company is terrible and I would not recommend it to anyone.
VinHistoryUSA Review: Don't Waste Your Time and Money on This Site
VinHistoryUSA seems like a great deal at first, with only a $1 upfront cost and a $29 subscription fee for access to their reports. However, I was immediately turned off when they tried to charge me for the subscription as soon as I purchased the $1 report. Lucky for me, my burner card declined the charge and I didn't end up getting stuck with the subscription.
To make matters worse, the report was not even that informative. VinHistoryUSA only provides limited information for the initial payment, and if you want to unlock everything else, you need to pay even more. It feels like a never-ending cycle of purchasing reports and subscriptions just to get the full picture.
One of the biggest issues with VinHistoryUSA is that they use generic pictures of the same make and model car from Google Images. This means you don't get a true representation of what your car really looks like. It's like ordering a burger and getting a picture of a cheeseburger instead.
Overall, I'd recommend skipping VinHistoryUSA and finding a more reliable and transparent source for your car history reports.

VinHistoryUSA Review: Deceptive Advertising, Shady Billing Practices, and No Customer Service
I was really upset by my experience with VinHistoryUSA. I was initially attracted to their website because they advertised that I could get a vehicle history report for only $1.00. This sounded like a great deal to me, so I clicked the button to purchase the report.
However, I quickly realized that this was a total scam. After I paid the $1.00 fee, I was immediately charged an additional $24.95. This was not what I was expecting, and I felt like I had been deceived by the website.
To make matters worse, when I tried to call the company to request a refund, I found that their phone number was disconnected. There was no way to speak to a live person, and I was left feeling frustrated and helpless.
As if all of this wasn't bad enough, the charge for the report showed up on my credit card statement as being from a completely different website, TRACKTHEGENE.COM. I had never heard of this website before, and I felt like I had been scammed twice in one transaction.
Overall, I would not recommend VinHistoryUSA to anyone. Their false advertising, lack of customer service, and shady billing practices make them a company to avoid at all costs. If you're looking for a reliable vehicle history report provider, look elsewhere – this company is not worth your time or money.
VinHistoryUSA Review: Scam Alert for Car Reports, Avoid at All Costs!
So, I decided to check out VinHistoryUSA 'cause I wanted to get the low down on a used car that I was thinking of buying. The site seemed legit at first, and they only charged me $1, but then they tried to pull a fast one and charge me $24.99 without my permission! What a rip-off, man! And when I got the report, it was total garbage, not even worth the dollar they charged me. To top it off, the charges appeared on my statement under a different name, "BACKGROUNDLOOKER," making me wonder what else they were up to.
I tried to get a refund and cancel my order online, but they required me to give them my full name, the last 6 digits of my card, and my email. I was hesitant at first 'cause that seemed like a scam itself, but maybe that was the only way to stop the subscription that they claimed I signed up for. Either way, they didn't even send me a receipt to prove that I paid them, so it's all a bit sketchy.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend VinHistoryUSA to anyone who's trying to do a background check on a car. Go somewhere else where they won't try to nickel and dime you for a supposedly "free" report.
Buyer Beware: My Negative Experience with VinHistoryUSA
I had a recent experience with VinHistoryUSA and I must say, I was not impressed. At first glance, the website appeared to be user-friendly and trustworthy. However, after making a purchase for a $1 report, I was later charged $25 without any explanation. This was not what I had agreed to, and needless to say, I was quite annoyed.
But my problems did not end there. The report itself was a complete waste of time. I was hoping for a detailed history of a 14 year old car I was considering purchasing. Sadly, the ownership record only went back 6 years and there was no information on the car's service records. This was not what I paid for, and I felt cheated.
When I contacted VinHistoryUSA to express my disappointment, their response was unhelpful and unapologetic. They simply attached the same useless information and claimed that they had done their job. I was extremely disappointed and irritated that I had wasted my money and time.
In hindsight, I should have consulted the reviews before using VinHistoryUSA as it turns out that many others have had similar negative experiences. I strongly advise against using this shady service.
Warning: VinHistoryUSA Charges Hidden Fees After Promising Free VIN Reports
So, I found this site called VinHistoryUSA that gives out a free VIN report. I was like, "sweet, I'll check it out!" But then they hit me with a surprise, telling me I have to pay a dollar to get the report. I was thinking, "eh, I'll still give it a shot." So, I paid up and waited for my report to come through.
After a while, they finally generated the report and I was ready to take a good look at it. But then I saw that they wanted me to give them my email, address, and phone number so they could email me the report. Weird, right? Anyway, I handed over my info, and then they charged me an extra 24.95 bucks!
They didn't even explain what the extra money was for. I guess it could have been for some membership thing? I wouldn't have any idea. Now I need to dispute the charges and go through all of that frustration. Please, please don't even bother with these guys. They're shady, and they should just be shut down for good.
Beware of VinHistoryUSA: A Total Scam!
So, I had an experience with VinHistoryUSA that was almost identical to another reviewer's. Initially, I was really excited about their $1 report deal. But boy, did they fool me! It turned out that they charged me for additional services in addition to the initial $1 report.
Not only that, but when I checked my credit card statement, I saw that they charged me on three different dates, each under a different merchant name! Like what the heck is going on here? Even worse, I had already canceled the service on 3/2, but they still charged me on 3/5 and 3/17.
It's a total scam, I tell ya! I don't usually write negative reviews, but this one I had to report. It's just not right to scam people like that. So, my advice would be to stay away from VinHistoryUSA. Don't trust them and don't let them fool you like they did to me.
Beware of Deception: My Experience with VinHistoryUSA
I tried the VinHistoryUSA website after seeing their $1 offer, but was disappointed when they charged me an additional $29.95 without notification. They continued to deduct this amount on 29th January, then again at the end of the month and once more today, February 3, 2023. Their deceptive actions are further exacerbated by the use of different account names, which only add to the confusion.
Even when I tried to get information from the customer service team via live chat, I was met with generic and unhelpful responses. They kept asking me for basic account information like my last 6 digits and email, but never addressed the issue at hand.
In my opinion, this is not a service that anyone should trust and it is definitely not worth the risk of a potential $29.95 added expense. I recommend finding a different option to obtain your vehicle history report.
Not Recommended: VinHistoryUSA Fails to Deliver Accurate Information and Refunds
I was not satisfied with my experience using VinHistoryUSA. I decided to check this site out 3 weeks ago in hopes of getting some information about my vehicle's history. I entered my vin#, paid the fee, and was disappointed when I received a message saying that my vin was incorrect. However, I know that my vin was correct because I had no issues using it on another website.
Feeling frustrated, I decided to message the customer service team to request a refund. They informed me that it would take 7-10 business days for the refund to be processed. However, after waiting that long and still not receiving anything, I decided to message them again. This time, I was told that my issue was being transferred to another team. Unfortunately, I still haven't received my refund and I'm not sure what's going on.
To make matters worse, I was shocked when I saw that I had been charged another $29.95 by VinHistoryUSA today. This is unacceptable and I do not recommend that others use this site. They do not seem to be operating in a trustworthy manner, and it seems that they do not stand behind what they say. It's a shame, because I was really hoping for some useful and reliable information about my vehicle.
Beware of VinHistoryUSA: A Potentially Fraudulent Website
So, I was checking out VinHistoryUSA to get a report of the vin of a car that my folks are thinking of getting. The website stated on the front page that the report would be free for a small fee of $1. I thought "why not?" as it was such a reasonable price. Unfortunately, I did not know that they would charge $29.95 altogether. But my card provider was able to detect that something is fishy, so that helped. I decided to call the cancellation number to inquire about why my credit card was charged, but sadly the number listed couldn't be dialed. Frustrated, I looked for another number I can call to seek customer service, which was also invalid. That's when I realized that I should have been more cautious when my usual modes of payment like PayPal were not available. I feel like I almost got scammed. Beware of VinHistoryUSA, it looks like a scam.
Beware: VinHistoryUSA.com Review - A Total Scam That Needs to Be Shut Down!
This is my honest take on VinHistoryUSA (vinhistoryusa.com) and let me tell you, it's a total scam! I really wish I checked the reviews before using it because like everyone else, I got ripped off! They charged me $26 plus an extra dollar for a subscription, which is outrageous! It's clear that they're using a different company than the ones they're listed with. Obviously, they keep switching things up to keep on deceiving people.
I wholeheartedly agree that this website should be shut down! I hope people like me warn others to stay away from them. Not sure what else can be done, but somehow, someway, they need to get caught and face consequences for all the people they've scammed.
In conclusion, VinHistoryUSA is a website that nobody should trust. They are just out to trick people and take their money. If you're looking for a reliable and reputable service, look elsewhere!
Charged my credit fraudulent transactions and refuse to issue refund despite many requests via phone, email, and online chat. Representatives not in USA. Company is completely corrupt and a scam
Try to dispute the charge and called the published phone number ending by -4073, silent forever, no one answer the call.
Be carful to the service.
And even worst, 2 days later I found another charge from an unknown source. I fully believe either they sent my credit card information to others or they may simply charged my card for anything else.

The information on the report was inaccurate, and now they’re making it nearly impossible for you to cancel. They send you from chat to email to phone, and then cut you off? Unbelievable.
They promised immediate and hassle-free cancellations, but what you’re experiencing is the exact opposite. They’re trying to trap you into a longer subscription, hoping you’ll give up and just let them charge you. It’s dishonest and unacceptable.
Share your experience on social media, tag VinHistoryUSA, and let everyone know how they’re treating their customers. Demand that they honor their promise of easy cancellation and stop trying to trick people into paying more. Keep pushing until they process your cancellation and make things right.
You deserve better than this. Stand your ground, make a lot of noise, and don’t let them take advantage of you. Stay strong and ensure your voice is heard.
