Vitamix is a grate product with grate customer service!
Vitamix is a grate product with grate customer service! I highly recommend the financial investment.
The customer service was excellent!
The customer service was excellent! The representative helped me with my issue and I am very satisfied with the outcome. I have owned a Vitamix blender for a long time. I had a small problem a while ago, but it got resolved. Recently, I noticed that the top was vibrating slightly. Considering how long I've had it, it's understandable. I called them and they replaced the top and the little knob without charging me. I can't express how happy I am with the product. Someone recommended it to me a long time ago and I'm glad I listened.

My blender broke down
My blender broke down. They told me to mail the base and that I would get a new container 'cause it broke. I took pictures and sent it to them. So I mailed the base and now they decided not to send me the new container. I need a new container under warranty.
The new Vitamix is the priciest one yet, costing almost 600 dollars
The new Vitamix is the priciest one yet, costing almost 600 dollars. Unfortunately, the container has turned green due to my husband's juicing habits. I've been struggling to clean it properly! In contrast, his 20-year-old juicing container still looks flawless. It's quite unpleasant to have something green and unappealing on my kitchen counter. Especially considering that it's only been 6 months since I got it. Thanks, Pam.

Purchased a Vitamix blender from the Vitamix website
Purchased a Vitamix blender from the Vitamix website. Unfortunately, I haven't received my order yet. The package has been under investigation for more than 5 weeks, which is about 4 weeks longer than the usual investigation time by UPS. I had a conference call with a customer service representative named ***l (***), and UPS confirmed that they haven't received the package. My order number is ***.
I bought a Vitamix blender with a fix warranty
I bought a Vitamix blender with a fix warranty. When I called to say the blender ain't working and needs fixin', the person who took the call looked up the info and instead of tellin' me where to send it for fixin' and a fixin' ticket number, they acted like they couldn't hear me no more. After many more calls, they sent me to a voicemail. Ain't nobody answerin'. I sent emails to the service desk, but they ain't answerin' neither. Seems like they ain't honorin' the fix warranties no more. I already got the blender fixed last year. I know the process. The fix warranty is still good. Seems like they just playin' games.
I bought a Vitamix blender from the company and it's been working pretty good so far
I bought a Vitamix blender from the company and it's been working pretty good so far. But now, the container is leaking and it's a bummer. I called the manufacturer on October 19 to get it fixed under warranty. They said they know it's covered and they should replace the faulty container. But guess what? They don't have the part in stock and their system won't let them process a warranty claim. They told me to buy a new container from Amazon for $150 or keep bugging them until they have the replacement part. But here's the catch, if I don't call on the right day when they magically have it, they won't honor the warranty.
I bought a Vitamix blender a few years ago at a home show in Raleigh, NC
I bought a Vitamix blender a few years ago at a home show in Raleigh, NC. After having it for a while, I got a recall notice for a part. Another company offered to replace the part or give me money back. Right when I hardly used my Vitamix blender, it started having problems. I told the company about it five months ago. Their service department called me and tried to fix the problem over the phone. They said the container on top of the blender was bad and needed to be replaced. So, they sent me a new one. I think they knew all along that the machine itself was bad because that part that was recalled damaged my machine. They should take responsibility and replace the whole machine, even if the warranty doesn't cover it. I don't want a brand new machine, a refurbished one would be okay. I expected more from a company with such a good reputation. I'm a very unhappy customer.
Date of the transaction: 5/4/2022
Date of the transaction: 5/4/2022. I paid the business $671.68 for a A3500 blender with a stainless steel container. But guess what? I never got it! The UPS tracking says it's stuck somewhere. I called support, but they couldn't give me a refund. All they said was to file a dispute with my credit card company if the blender doesn't show up. They gave me an order number and a tracking number that's longer than a novel. Seriously, it's like a hundred characters! Anyway, I'm frustrated because Vitamix says they did their part by shipping it, and it's not their fault it didn't get delivered. When I called UPS, they just told me to bug Vitamix for help. So here I am, stuck without my blender and no solution in sight.
I ordered an item on November 20th, but never received it
I ordered an item on November 20th, but never received it. I chose a 5-month payment plan. On December 16th, I asked to cancel my order and get my money back because it's been almost a month and I still don't have my product. On December 21st, you said it couldn't be canceled because it had already been shipped, and it wasn't your fault but your shipping partner's fault because of the Covid situation. I replied on December 23rd, but only got a response on December 30th, saying my order couldn't be delivered and I could either get a refund or try delivery again. After all these problems, I lost confidence in your company and replied that I just wanted my money back as I originally requested. Since it was already February 1st, and I didn't get a response to that email, I decided to call Vitamix's customer service. The representative canceled my initial order and made a new one, which is the replacement for my original purchase. They assured me that the money would be refunded to my credit card without any additional charges. It's now February 23rd, and I still haven't received my refund. Not only that, but your company keeps taking money from my credit card.
On 04/09/2022, I bought a Vitamix Explorian E310 for $311.71 from Sur La Table in Columbus, OH
On 04/09/2022, I bought a Vitamix Explorian E310 for $311.71 from Sur La Table in Columbus, OH. vitamix.com told me that Sur La Table is the only place in Columbus where I can get a Vitamix. Before I bought it, I checked out the warranty and return policies. After a few months of testing, I found out that the machine didn't work like they said it would and couldn't make the recipes in the "First Blends" booklet. So, I called Vitamix on 07/10/2022 to return it. Since I bought it between 91 days and 6 months ago, I knew I had to pay for the shipping back and a 25% restocking fee, according to their return policy. First, I talked to ***. Then, I emailed their boss *** a few times. At first, they said I bought the machine in 2021 and they only take returns within 60 days. I told them that their policy didn't say that and I had a receipt to prove when I bought it. *** then said they only take returns for stuff bought directly from Vitamix. She quoted something that wasn't in their policy and couldn't show me where it came from. In her next email, she admitted that their policy was confusing. She quoted part of a sentence out of context to support her point, but when you read the whole thing, it didn't. It only talked about needing a Return Authorization number for stuff bought from Vitamix. The policy is clear for everyone in the US, no matter where you bought it. It tells international customers to ask their local retailers about returns, but it doesn't say that for US customers. So basically, Vitamix won't follow their own return policy because I bought it from their only retailer in my area. Their website told me to go there.
I replaced my old blender, which I bought in the late 90s, with a Vitamix 7500 in 2017
I replaced my old blender, which I bought in the late 90s, with a Vitamix 7500 in 2017. I had no problems with my old blender, but I decided to replace it after 20 years just in case it stopped working suddenly. Every morning, I make a breakfast shake with almond milk, protein powder, flax seeds, banana, cacao nibs, and ice. However, after getting the Vitamix 7500, I noticed that the blade started chipping. I don't think any of the ingredients I use could cause the blade to chip so easily. This morning, on August 26, I ground my cacao nibs in a coffee grinder before adding them to the blender, and the blade chipped again, although not as badly as before. I called customer service, which I was dreading because this has happened multiple times in the past 18 months, and I had only recently received a replacement. The customer representative told me that on May 7th, I was informed that if it happened again, I would have to buy a new pitcher. This is not true. I was never told that, and I would have argued against it because my warranty does not mention anything about being responsible for replacements after a certain number of repairs. I did ask if they would buy back my blender because I'm tired of making a shake, only to have to throw it out and wait for another replacement, but they said they don't do that. So, I started being extra careful. We initially ground the ingredients by hand in a stone bowl, and then I bought a coffee grinder for the cacao nibs. It's frustrating because I wasn't informed that they would no longer cover the pitcher, and the customer representative even claimed that they tested the blades with spoons and rocks, and neither caused any damage. I believe this is untrue.
I recently contacted Vitamix cuz I needed the cord replaced on my machine
I recently contacted Vitamix cuz I needed the cord replaced on my machine. That was the only thing I needed replaced. They told me the machine was out of warranty but they would replace the cord for free. (Confirmation # ***) Vitamix asked me to send back the machine and all the accessories that came with it, so I did. I sent it on 6/11 via UPS Ground. About 11 days later, I got a Vitamix back from the company, but it wasn't the same machine I sent. When I took it out of the box, I noticed there was only one label on it, while mine had two. Also, the label on the machine was bubbly and not smooth. It was clear that they took the label off my machine and put it on this one. Something didn't seem right. The case on the machine was different from mine, and the accessories were a different color and didn't match. My machine was in great condition and hardly used since I lived in different homes in different states throughout the year, and we mostly ate out. I was shocked to see that they sent me a completely different machine. I immediately called Vitamix, and they said they not only replaced the cord but also the container, blades, outer shell, drive socket, switches, and circular piece on the motor base. This couldn't be true because I only used my Vitamix a few times to make smoothies. There was no wear or tear on it. Unfortunately, my Vitamix was next to my stove when I accidentally put a hot pot on the cord, causing a small section to melt. It's obvious to me that Vitamix must have dropped my machine and couldn't fix it, so they switched it out. Anyone who knows me will say that my husband and I don't cook much and prefer eating out. We eat out for lunch and dinner every day and have oatmeal and fruit for breakfast. I told Vitamix that this wasn't my machine, and they gave me a hard time, saying I was ungrateful for them fixing worn-out parts under warranty even though it was expired. I explained that wasn't true since we hardly used the machine. And why would they completely rebuild a machine that was out of warranty? Most importantly, why didn't they ask for my approval before making all these changes? They did it quickly and secretly, without informing me. I can only assume they thought I was a regular customer who used their Vitamix daily. No, the Vitamix was hardly used because we traveled a lot and enjoyed eating out with friends. What bothered me the most was that they did it secretly and denied it when I called, then finally admitted it. They had no right to do anything other than replace the cord, as that's all we authorized. I also suspect they used reconditioned parts since they're known for selling those. I can't confirm without opening the machine and having a technician check the inside parts.
I bought my Vitamix blender in mid-August and noticed some issues with the cord
I bought my Vitamix blender in mid-August and noticed some issues with the cord. There was a crack and a pinched area that were deep enough for a fingernail to get stuck. I called customer service and they told me to send back the base for cord replacement. When I got the base back on 9/22, I checked the cord and found a gouge about 5mm wide and 3mm deep. One of the screws near the cord storage area was also not fully seated, sticking up about 1/8". I called customer service again and they told me to send back the base for cord replacement. I also sent an email with photos and a description. When I received the base back on 9/30, nothing had been fixed. The screw was still not seated and the cord was in the same condition. I called customer service again and spoke to a manager named Jordan. He said I could get a replacement blender, but the color might not be the same. I received the black unit on 10/13 and found a deep groove in the power cord. The cord was packaged in a way that could have caused damage. I have been dealing with this issue for two months and haven't been able to use the blender properly. I called customer service again on 10/13 to report the cord issue, but I didn't want to send it back for repair. Considering the price of the blender, I expected better quality control. I would prefer a different color than black for a blender that will be on my kitchen counter for a long time. Color choices are important for personal style and home decor.
