Scam. Signed up for a monthly subscription, never received anything after a month and was charged for a 2nd month. After complaining, they canceled my subscription and refunded the second month. After a couple more weeks, still never received the first month. Refused to refund but only offered store credit, citing the TOS. What in the world am I going to do with store credit when they don't actually send anything? Finally got a refund after disputing the charge with my credit card company.

After reaching out to customer service multiple times and canceling membership, I was told I could opt for store credit or a new vibe, which I have NO desire to do. After stating they would not refund me per their TOS agreement, I will be filing a charge back claim with my credit card company. Stay far, far away from this scam of a company.
Terrible company. I ordered my first box in February and have still not received anything and it's May. I've called multiple times and every time I receive the answer that my box is ready but USPS is behind. According them USPS is months and months behind. This has been a problem for tons of customers I can't believe they are still in business and that this is some how legal.
Total scam of a subscription service. They don't have an online google presence and they limit their comments on Instagram so that their consumers can't leave comments. Not to mention they don't specify that they send the most underground music possible. Not your common artists. They've overcharged us and won't refund because I didn't notice within 24 hours. Do not spend your money on this it really is a scam.
They take forever to mail you your orders, and charge you monthly while you wait. My second order never arrived. I emailed asking for a refund. No email back, they just cancelled my account in response.

STAY AWAY! You've been warned. This companies customer service has to be one of the worst of any business I have ever dealt with. Communication is with them is basically impossible. Every email I have sent takes a minimum of 5 days for someone to get back to me with a response that doesn't answer my questions at all. I'm pretty sure they are just dragging feet on there end so I reach my 90 day no return policy. I was gifted this by my boss and it has been one of the biggest pains I've ever been gifted. 2 months. Still not a single record. Ridiculous.
Was given this subscription as a gift, similar to Matt's experience below. Shipping was delayed. I was charged for 6 months straight when I believed I paused the service through their website. Have tried calling three times with their support team to cancel fully but never get through, and never get a call back. Would NOT recommend!
They aren't clear about their terms; what you agree to isn't clear and their website is difficult to navigate. They're incredibly unprofessional. You have to call in order to cancel (the button you can press to "pause" your membership only tells you to call). They don't call you back. If you email, you'll get someone who completely dismisses your concerns and what you'd like to happen. Leisa White is the person who has been responding to my emails. Do NOT sign up.

They don't have a way for you to easily cancel your order online and instead you have to call them. I tried calling them for 5 days with no response and no voicemails. I sent multiple emails again with no response. DO NOT BUT FROM THIS COMPANY! I had to dispute the charges on my credit card and called my bank to block them from charging my account. It was ridiculous and HORRIBLE customer service!
My wife purchased a gift subscription for me. After setting up my account and waiting for over a month, no records have arrived. My account now reads as empty and any attempts to find out where the records that my wife already paid for are, have been met with no response, or just the runaround. Even tried contacting them through their social media platforms only to get no response on private message, and then banned from commenting on their pages.
I have called several times over the last several months only to receive a recording. I'm getting sick and tired of this. I have not received something for the majority of the months that I have paid for and I have requested cancellation over voicemail (because I cannot get someone on the g*d-*** phone) multiple times. I can't use no stars or I would. The premise is good, the delivery is poor and non existent. First shipment of a 3 month subscription took almost 45 days to get here. 2nd month, I paid the extra $6.00 for an expedited delivery. A month later and nothing yet. I have emailed and got zero response. Now I am reading the reviews of everyone else and see this is not an isolated incident. Someone needs to sue these guys and get them to stop taking peoples money. This is ridiculous.

In addition to this scam, the notion that they CURATE album choices based on user profile/preferences is LAUGHABLE! They are using this subscription service to unload albums that no one would actually buy. Horrible horrible company and customer service. They never answer the phone or e-mails. We eventually had to cancel the credit card in order to get them to stop charging it months after we had cancelled the subscription. Buyer beware!
They're atrocious
They're atrocious. I haven't received any of my orders. Called over 20 times to try and cancel and never got an answer or a call back, finally emailed them to cancel because I was tired of calling and getting NOTHING. In the email I inquired about my orders that I hadn't received and they didn't even reply, they just cancelled my subscription. I'm going to be contacting my bank to get the charges from them refunded seeing as this company does not do refunds. Do NOT use this service, save your money for records you actually want and just ask your pals for music recommendations.

Weeks later, I called again to follow up and he said it still hadn't been shipped. I am now about to be charged for the second month even though I don't yet have last month's order. I said I'd like a refund and to cancel my order. He said I can't get a refund and there was nothing else he could do for me and hung up. I think it's bogus and I wouldn't recommend anyone spend their money here. Just buy your own records, or find a different subscription service. Their facebook page also ignored my messages.

This company is not to be trusted. They charged me nearly $20 and I never received anything from them. I have tried to email, tried several times to call and cancel my account because I never recieved anything, and nobody will get back to me. I had to have my bank block the merchant so they couldn't charge me anymore. I've never had fraud on my account, but soon after blocking them another company tried to charge my card, and my guess it was them. Bottom line, what you are paying for is vague on their website, and in my experience, you aren't going to get anything, and their customer service team has no intent to help figure things out.

Even if you leave 4 voicemails with your detailed contact information, they will never get back to you even if they look at these reviews and respond with "Hey our representatives are busy, someone will call you back!" I have spent a month trying to get a response from their email support AND their phone support. I don't know how many people they have working, but good luck getting support from them.

VNYL promises a 2, 3 week max turn around time, and they're not lying about it entirely, as they will have your package ready, and even email you that the packing slip has been printed and is ready to ship. But you receive that email, you won't see any updates when tracking the package for 10+ days. Since they planned to charge me for next month in about 4 days, I'm assuming these delays are so they can charge you for next month's fees before actually fulfilling last months orders, if they even do. Biggest scam of a service I've seen, and I wish I would have done more research before purchasing.

I had to give all of my information including CC information just to get an idea of the basic concept. Little did I know I signed up for a membership, have been charged twice, have received no vinyl, and have emailed multiple times to try to cancel whatever this subscription is. It has been over a month and have not received any sort of response. Not even an automated, "we have received your request" which seems like it would be the low hanging fruit of this customer support nightmare. Please do not give them money money and do not purchase anything they are offering.

I received my first shipment no problem but never received another shipment again despite being charged. The status of my records says "in-transit" but when you look at the USPS tracking number it says USPS is awaiting the items! I understand there are shipping delays due to COVID but not to this extent. And VNYL has apparently given this same excuse to many other customers! They also do not provide refunds so if you pay for a year in advance and never receive any records you have been completely swindled. Seems so shady to me. I had to call multiple times in order to reach someone to cancel my account as well. Would absolutely not recommend. Take your money each month to your local record store.

Worst company/service ever. They sucker you in for the first month by delivering your subscription but then after that they will not deliver your order, they will still charge you for it, and there is NO way to get a hold of these people. Everything customer service for them is either send an email or call their "customer service" number where there is seedy automated messages and a voicemail box to leave your inquiries. You will never hear from anyone and your concerns will go unresolved. It is best to steer clear from this business and never give them your payment information. I am still trying to get them from stop charging me and even with closing out my credit card account they have still received my new card number/info from Mastercard and they are continuing to charge me even after I have attempted multiple times to cancel my subscription. I must say it again, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!

The customer service team is perfect for the company laid back and friendly giving the authentic feeling of a record store employee, a real Empire Records vibe. Monthly choices for your musical vibe provide you the options to really supplement your collection. Everything looks and sounds great right? Well sadly the fulfillment portion of this company is intensely lacking, even the priory shipments stretch into weeks, beyond the completion of curating. If the fulfillment of orders matched the potential of this Vynls potential they would be a perfect company, but the inconsistent shipping coupled with the seeming lack of company control over shipping dates makes this a use at your own risk company. I will update this whenever my first box finally shows up on if the curators do what the company suggest.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I received a gift certificate for 3 months for Christmas this year. When I went to redeem it, I was required to put in a credit card. This was suspicious but I know all businesses operate differently so I obliged. Fast forward to three months and I called them to cancel my membership (after the first paid for 3 months) and no one answered after the 2nd ring. The recording said they had a high call volume and to leave a message. I did leave a message and never got a call back. Then I was charged for a month to my credit card. I called them again, same deal. Left a message and no return call. I then emailed them and got no response. At this point I have been forced to deal with my credit card company to but a block on their charges because I have zero hope that they will do the right thing and stop charging me or refund the fraudulent charge they made on my account. Don't make the same mistake I did.

After the first month of no shipments I decided to cancel my account. The only way to do this is to call a number provided on the website. After not receiving a confirmation of my cancellation I sent an email asking about the cancellation and where my first shipment was. I received an automated response letting me knw that cancellations are taking time due to COVID. I then received a second email notifying me that my records were taking longer than normal to ship also due to COVID. I do understand that this is a different time all due to COVID, I do not mind waiting, however what was advertised is not the experience I expected. As of right now my cancel anytime subscription that was advertised as that has still not been cancelled. A month is more than enough time for this request to have been cancelled. I have contacted my bank to dispute this charge and any future charges. I also have had my card replaced.

I ordered a $30 gift card for my partner to use to set up his own profile and when he went to redeem it he was charged again $40...I believe the standard subscription fee. What he got delivered was a paper with the CODE for my gift to redeem but since "he got it sent to himself" it was irredeemable. We have tried to reach out to VNYL numerous times and only got a since response in email saying we'll look into it. A MONTH later they started responding to me only after I had to default complaining on their Facebook feed but the issue still has not been resolved. They got back to me on FB for appearances only... I don't expect to hear from them or see our money ever for products that were never received. Email is unresponsive and so is there phone number- which took so much research just to find- it isn't adequately displayed on their own website. I was nervous about the company before ordering and my search into this company mainly showed positive websites and reviews from sponsors and blogs. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Vnyl is terrible. I only received one shipment so far. They completely disregarded every single marker I gave them for the music I wanted.They have charged me 3 times. Again, I have only received one shipment.I have called. I have emailed. I sent my first email on April 5th. They said I would have a response in 2-5 business days. It is now the 17th. I have trolled them on social media. I have picked my vibes. I have done all the faq trouble shooting stuff.Unless there is a little button that I need to hit that I'm not seeing, there should be no reason for this. Terrible customer service; meaning there isn't any to speak of. Especially because they call them "Customer Happiness Representatives." They give this wrak excuse that Covid might back stuff up.As if this far in that's a good enough excuse.As far as I'm concerned they have stolen from me. Unless they are willing to give me back my money and compensate me in some significant way then I will cancel (the only reason I haven't yet is to hopefully keep lines of communication open) and everyone who asks about Vnyl will get a terrible review.

If I am being honest I would give zero stars if I could. I had this service a few years ago, and let me tell you they are nothing like what they advertise. I was sent records that had no correlation to the music I listened to, shipments were always late and sometimes never arrived. So naturally, after a few shipments I tried to cancel my service through their website, then I called several times. This went on for several months, all while I was being charged over and over again and no shipments came. I was finally able to get ahold of someone who was actually able to cancel my subscription, but they refused to refund me the $495 they had charged me for boxes I had never received. They insisted I could use it as store credit, and after so many calls and attempts to get my money back I agreed. Come to find out, that store credit isn't directly applied, but instead gives you a small percentage discount on additional purchases. Meaning to get back the $495 I tried to get refunded, I would have to spend ten times that amount, and probably not even get the records I asked for. I would love to see my money back.

I'd give zero stars if possible. This company's operations are a MESS, and they will steal your money! On 1/2, I purchased a package of 3 curated records per month for 3 months. In addition to the 3 curated records, I added 5 additional records to my first month's order. I was charged immediately for all of the records (9 curated + 5 additional) but didn't receive my first 3 curated albums until 1/23 (they were shipped on 1/22). I have yet to receive the 5 additional records that I added to my first month's order. I have followed up several times asking about the status. The first time, I was told that the records will be shipped when they are in their warehouse but they don't have an estimated date as to when that will be. Why on earth this company is selling records they don't actually have is beyond me. Other times that I've followed up, I've been told the records have already been delivered according to the shipping number (to which I had to explain that that order only contained the original three records). I have asked for a refund as I don't have any faith that I will ever be shipped the 5 additional records (which cost over $150) - I'm sure I will need to follow up several times to get a response to the refund request. Also, my 2nd month of the curated albums has not even been shipped yet. I'm pretty confident that if I don't keep following up, this company will just steal my money. STAY AWAY!

I was charged $317 yesterday (10/18/23) and found out that I was charged the same amount on the same day last year (10/18/22), so $634 total. I had a subscription to VNYL years ago, and I haven't received anything in the mail from VNYL for at least two years. I do not understand why these charges are being charged to my account, especially when I have nothing coming in the mail to validate it. I believed my membership was cancelled. At least $634 has been taken from my account with nothing to show for it.

It charges $60 per month to get 3 vinyl records. After not hearing anything back about my order (which has no sort of tracking number), I decided to contact them via e-mail. It took them 5 days to respond. And they told me nothing. They just apologized and said they'd look at it. 5 days later, I was charged for the second month. I tried to e-mail the same representative back. And heard nothing. I went back to the website to cancel my account, which said I would have to call a special number for that. Everytime I call the number, I get that they want me to leave a message. And everytime I leave a message, I am never contacted. I have tried multiple times to reach out the same representative I was in a back and forth e-mail with but have not heard from them in almost two weeks. If I get charged for a third month without ever receiving a product, having my account canceled or anyone answering any of my questions, I will be livid.
I started a monthly drop ship subscription with this company in December. I paid a recurring fee of approximately $14/mo to receive a vinyl record each month. As of today, Feb 28, 2022, I have received 1 album, but been charged religiously every month. When I called to cancel my subscription, they offered a store credit to use, without telling me the balance. I found nothing in their "store" to be worthwhile or anything I'm interested in and have asked for a refund of the $209.86 they have charged me since December . They won't allow you to cancel online via their website. When you call even during their limited business hours, no one is available and they direct you to their email. I have sent multiple emails to their directed email account requesting a refund and cancelation of my account based on the misrepresentation of the service they offer, yet no one responds. When someone did finally call me back they confirmed they would cancel the account and issue a refund and that I would receive an email confirming this yet I never received a confirmation email or refund to my account.

I want to cancel my membership but can't get a hold of anyone at VNYL. I've called and emailed multiple times just to be left high and dry. I have been trying to contact VNYL for days about canceling my subscription but unfortunately I am unable to reach ANYONE. I've called the XXX-XXX-XXXX number several times, emailed the ***@vnyl.org and *** multiples times as well and have not received a single phone call/email back from them. My record player broke and I don't have the funds to repair it at the moment. Since I'm out of a record player, there is no need for me to continue this subscription. It's honestly ridiculous that you can't cancel the plan yourself but instead have to call or email and hear nothing back. This plan is going to renew for another month in a few days and they need at least 24 hours notice (according to their website) in order to not have this charge me again. I am trying everything in my power to not have them charge me ever again but they can't seem to their part. I was considering pausing my subscription but after this, I have no desire to ever deal with these people again.

I have waited at this point for almost a month to receive my product from this company. I saw on the website that they were close to "sending" another shipment for records but I have not even received the first order from them. However, in one year, they only gave me 6 vibes to select - I should have received 12! Then, the last curated album wasn't even suitable to us! They sent us electronica! They KNOW that's not our interest! They should have refunded me for the 6 albums never sent, but they told me the best they could do what give me a store credit. That's UNACCEPTABLE. THEY SHOULD BE REFUNDING. And, their store options are VERY lacking. They do not offer a true "store" to be forcing people to use money they owe them in it. We did find two options that we were like, "sure, why not," but then VNYL didn't ship them! So, they didn't refund my money OR send me the records I placed from the credit. And, I still have a significant credit and there are no acceptable records to be found for purchase! I want the money refunded immediately! Please note that there is nothing on their website saying they do not refund. I have attached photos of my orders placed that were not shipped, and of my remaining refund showing.

So by signing up initially doesn't matter, unless you go in each month you don't get anything. I emailed them about this issue and they told me they would send extra vinyl to catch up but 3 months later and I haven't received anything and I just saw on my credit card that they billed me for a renewal membership without informing in any way. So out of the original 12 month I have received 5. This company is doing horrible business and scamming people. The other issue is that they have you give a bunch of information on what kind of music you like but they send you music that isn't from any artists you picked and isn't similar at all. Their customer service isn't helpful and there is no way to cancel without calling but even during business hours they don't pick up. I don't want others to waste their time and money and I would love to get refunded for that renewal because I will not be using their services anymore. They've wasted my time for too long

I was just charged for a renewal before they even responded to my e-mail on 1/28/2022, questioning why I didn't receive any shipments at all even though I filled out the necessary info. I called to try to cancel, but then it says to e-mail. It makes no sense to not ship anything during the month then charge someone BEFORE the next month, without any ability to actually get in touch with someone. Completely dishonest business practices.
I signed up for the subscription service to receive a new vinyl set every month, they failed to send new vinyls as promised. Every time I try to call and ask or email, they never answered or responded. I'm in the military and have been trying to cancel for several months before it renewed. It just auto-renewed today and I can't cancel it. Their website won't let me, I have to call their customer support but they are only open 4 hours and sometimes they're so busy I could wait for an hour and the call would just drop. I want to cancel, get a refund for the vinyls they didn't deliver as promised, and a refund for the amount they just charged because their service is trash.
Transaction on January 28th. The wording on the website makes it seem as if you don't pay for the service until you have actually picked out a product. I wouldn't have signed up for the service if I knew I would have been charged immediately. They are essentially holding my money hostage for a service I don't want and got tricked into signing up for. The website mentions you can cancel through the phone, but when you call you get answering machine saying they aren't taking calls. Emailed them and they are saying up to a 5 day response time. So essentially, in my opinion, there is no customer service. On top of this, my "vibe" is for a record I already own.

A subscription service was automatically enrolled before the "gift" was ever even completed (it was paused due to a move) and my card was charged an additional 3 times (120$ total- 3 charges of 40$) before we realized the error. I called because I wanted to receive a refund and inform them of their confusing subscription service policy( which I did not sign up for!), employee was incredibly defensive and offered no solution beyond store credit. I agreed to the store credit which ended up totaling 146$ because it added the additional round of records that was never received (due to service being paused). I hoped that the store credit could be used in their store for a variety of records but the employee failed to inform me they only offer a selection of 10 records at a time that are all either unidentifiable/unwanted artists or musicals which are not of interest to me. I now have 146$ in store credit with nothing to use it on, I would like a refund and for future customers to be informed of the confusing subscription policy.

On July 12th I signed up to get 3 vinyl records shipped to me each month for *** AFTER I gave my info and they charged my card I went to pick out my type of music and the website did not work. It seemed like it was fake. Within 2 minutes I realized something was wrong and tried to cancel my membership and get a refund. It is almost impossible to cancel. They tell you to call to cancel but they don't answer the phone. They don't plan on answering the phone. They have 2 different voicemails they switch out and you always have to leave a message. They responded that they cancelled my account 2 days after calling and emailing numerous times, but they never mention my refund and say that my account is still active for another month. Meanwhile their site does not work. I wish I would have looked here first. This is a total scam. They need to be shut down now. I am pretty sure they blocked me on Facebook, too. I used to get their ads 10 times a day, hence why I caved and ordered it. Now I can't find them anywhere on Facebook. Unless they just shutdown, they def. blocked me like sad cowards.

After a month of reaching out and unable to get ahold of anyone with the company, I was able to get ahold of someone on the Facebook page. I was finally able to cancel my account before I was charged for another box. The rep claims that ***'s package was lost by USPS. The tracking info I got still says that the label was created but has not been received by USPS. The rep said they would send a new box since it was "lost" more than a week later, the rep said there was nothing they could do and issued a store credit (store credit wouldn't even cover the cost of anything in their store). I asked for them to just send a new box or issue a full refund. The rep said they could not do that since it was USPS's fault they lost it. I also brought up that the same issue seems to be occurring for my *** box. (I had been trying to cancel the subscription prior to the *** charge but couldn't get ahold of anyone, and when they did finally answer to cancel, they would not issue a refund for *** either). I have been trying to get ahold of them again, and can not reach anyone.

I received a gift code to a VNYL subscription for Christmas. I was required to enter my debit card information and sign up for a subscription in order to use the code. I made my order on 01/08/2022. It's been a month, and I still haven't heard anything on my order. I only planned on using my free month and have tried contacting the company several times over the past few weeks. My emails haven't been responded to, and the customer service line is just an automated voice message. I was just charged $40 today, 02/07/2022, despite my efforts to cancel my subscription. VNYL will not answer the phone, and so I've had no way to contact them to cancel. There's no way to cancel through their website. I don't care about getting the records I ordered. I just want my $40 refunded and my subscription canceled. I've never seen such unprofessionalism in a business. The lack of customer service is appalling, and I'm suspect of the entire company being a scam. The website says no refunds, but I haven't been able to reach them to cancel. This is unfair to me, as a consumer, and I would appreciate my money back. Especially considering I have no intention of using this service. I'm hoping they will get back to me soon, otherwise, I'm going to have to file a dispute with my bank.

I have called numerous times only to be sent to voicemail, because I either called too early or they claimed they reps were busy with other calls. I have left 3 voicemails, so far asking for my account to be cancelled and to have email confirmation sent to me and have received nothing. I sent an email to *** asking the same thing, I received an email stating that my account was paused but they are still trying to charge my card on file. Their customer service is atrocious and fake, there is no way that EVERY time I call there is no one to answer the phone. This business is a sham trying to milk people for every penny they can by ignoring the phone number they have set up. I have turned off my card so that it cannot be charged by them, luckily it was not my main card but not everyone is so lucky. Also it should not take 1 month for people to get their orders, when I started this I had a free order but I had to pay for the first order to receive it, I placed my first order on 4/1 and didn't receive or get any updates about it until the end of April when it finally shipped and I got it the beginning of May. The shipping label was correct but the contents inside were made out to a *** and included records I did not chose. I decided to let it slide and chalked it up to a fluke. The following months I tried to log on to their platform to select a record. Unfortunately, I used the "sign up with Facebook" feature they offered. It appears that starting in July this feature no longer worked. When logging in via Facebook (as I had done to pick my first record when signing up) I get an error message saying the app is still in development mode and I don't have access to view it. It tells me to switch to a registered test user or to ask app admin for permission. I decided at the time to wait it out until they resolved the issue. However by September the issue had not been resolved. I have been trying to cancel my membership since September, and at first a phone number was listed on their website, to which I called with no response. Now there is only an email address to use. All I want is a refund for the last few months that I've been unable to access this platform because their inability to fix a Facebook integration problem. If it wasn't working, it shouldn't have been offered as a way to sign up.

Vnyl.com charged for a record $30. And two monthly record subscriptions at $39/mo. They have not delivered any products and are totally unavailable. On May 8th I ordered a record (over charged for $30) and a monthly record subscription at $39/mo (3 records) through VNYL.com. I was charged for for both items and charges processed on 5/11. I got an order number but never received a notification of shipment or shipment number over the next several weeks. I attempted to call several times, comment on their Facebook page, message them on Facebook, message them on both VNYL twitter accounts, left messages and emailed them several times. Looking through comments it looks as though there are many many people they are doing this to and they aren't allowing us to cancel our subscriptions because they won't make that available to us. They are also stating there are no refunds on their merchandise unless you cancel but you can't cancel or get ahold of anyone with the company to assist. They then processed another payment from my account for the month of June after I had attempted to contact them several times to find out where my merchandise was or cancel the account. I emailed them again and contacted them all all of those platforms again and still am getting to response. It seems like they are ripping off THOUSANDS of their customers with no way to stop them or recover the money they are withdrawing from the account.

I never authorized these charges, and moreover no records were ever shipped to me during this time My wife gifted me with three months of membership to VNYL on Christmas last year. In order to receive the records, the company asked for my credit card information while I had to create an account. I was reluctant, but this was the only way I could enjoy the gift I received. After the three month period was over, records stopped arriving in the mail. I later discovered that VNYL had begun billing me $39.99/mo every month afterward, without notifying me and without my authorization. They also were not sending me any product. The billings occurred on 3/24, 4/24, 5/24, and 6/24, for a total of $159.96 in unauthorized unfulfilled charges. I called their customer service line twice on 7/6, which hangs up on the customers after placing them on hold, without ever connecting them with a representative. I emailed their customer service department on 7/6, and again on 7/10. I asked for a refund or even just store credit, so that I could simply receive some product or service for the money I'd been charged. They did not reply. I am now asserting that I was fraudulently charged $159.96, which I did not authorize, and never received any product or service for this charge. My next step if this complaint doesn't resolve the matter will be to report this as fraud to my credit card company.

I called during their business hours. The call gets you a voice message that directs you to contact them on an email address because of high call volume during the holidays. So I emailed them requesting cancelation on 1/3/22. Within a few minutes I received an auto-reply that says they need up to 5 business days to reply but that they prioritize answering emails before the subscription renewal date (it also asks that you not follow up with them via social media, which makes sense for them, as I'm sure they don't want the bad publicity). Needless to say, I heard nothing back. I called and emailed on 1/3 because the website says that you have to cancel before or within 24 hours of your renewal. My renewal is 1/5. So today, 1/5, after no response to any attempt to contact VNYL, there is a renewal charge on my account. Still no record had arrived, or even shipped, as they never emailed saying it was shipping, as the confirmation email from them says they will. Essentially, they know how to accept payment, but not how to deliver product or interact with customers, which seems like a common complaint.

I emailed them complaining about a charge, "To whom it may concern, I was charged a subscription fee on my card from VNYL on the 20th of September without my consent. I never selected a subscription and I had canceled it a long time ago. So, if someone could clarify why my card was charged for subscription and hopefully issue a refund that would be great. I hope this can be resolved because even if I had accidentally not remembered to cancel my subscription, which I doubt because I only chose the 1-month subscription, I would have received records in the mail but I didn't" and they replied saying they couldn't issue me a refund for all the months I had been charged, which I then check to see if they had charged me more than once and to my dismay, they had. 6 more times. I emailed VNYL again and told them I realized that they had kept billing me every month afterward, without notifying me, without my authorization and not sending me any product. So if they want to refer to their policy they weren't even following their policy. I am now stating that I was fraudulently charged which I did not authorize, and never received any product or service for this charge. Now, what my next step can be if this complaint doesn't resolve the matter will be to report this as fraud to my bank.

I found out that a customer can only cancel a subscription by calling the company at a toll free number. I was immediately directed to voicemail and left a message. I never got a call back and I was charged for the second month's subscription. I still didn't get a call back and I was recently charged for the third month's subscription. I signed up for *** on a recurring membership payment for *** a month beginning on 9/6 and received no product for the month of September. On my bank statement the membership fee was withdrawn on 9/8. October - I never received any email and again no product but the monthly membership fee was withdrawn from my bank account on 10/07. I tried calling their customer service number and never received a call or email back. November - On 11/07 I received an email regarding Order#XXXXX and the monthly membership fee was withdrawn from my bank account on 11/09. I have received no further communications regarding my order being processed or even shipped. I tried calling their customer service number AGAIN and never received a call or email back. I even tried putting my membership on pause which again, I had to call customer service which resulting in... no type of communication back to me. I was only trying to pause the membership until I am able to actually cancel. But it seems that either of them are near impossible to accomplish. At this point I am out *** and everyone is in a tough situation with Covid. Due to this service and my attempts at contacting them which lead to nowhere. This has been a complete nightmare for me and since they are not calling me back or communicating with me at all. I need my membership canceled immediately along with a full refund.

I paid *UPFRONTwith my credit card for a 12 month subscription that went active 12/25. I was not happy with the "curated" records I received in January. I updated my preferences and the "curated" records I got in February were even worse. I put a note in my preferences and profile to let the company know I was dissatisfied and I would be cancelling if I didn't receive records that were more in line with my taste (as that is what they advertise they do - send you records based on your taste in music). The records I got in March were even worse than the prior two orders. I emailed the customer service to let them know I wanted to cancel the remainder of my subscription. I received a cancellation email from them, but nothing was said about the refund. I emailed again asking for the refund and it took more than a week to get a response. When they did respond they said I could not receive a refund and only store credit. I DO NOT WANT STORE CREDIT, the record selection SUCKS. They also said that my card is charged monthly, so I can pause my subscription at any time, this is NOT true! I PAID UPFRONT, and I am only asking that the remaining 9 months be refunded, not that I be refunded for the prior 3 months worth of horrible product. You can't even return the crappy product because they don't allow returns. This company as a whole is awful. It is a sham and NOT worth the money people pay. I am beyond disappointed.

I began a membership with VNYL and was charged on June 18th for 39.00. On June 29th I reached out to their listed email for customer service, ***@vnyl.org , and requested to cancel my subscription. On June 29th I also emailed ***@VNYL.org, asking for my subscription to be paused. Both of these emails were sent from the email account I used to sign up for their subscription: ***@gmail.com. As of Septemeber 25th, I have not recieved any form of response to either of my emails sent. I have been charged on July 18th for 39.00, August 17th and September 25th each for $39.00. All of these days follow my attempts to cancel my subscription with the company. I have continually been charged by them and cannot get any response to be able to cancel my membership. Not to mention I have only recieved one package from their monthly subscription service. I should have recieved four, one for each time I have been charged, and I have only recieved one. I have reached out multiple times though their facebook page and have recieved no response. On September 25th I reached out to their facebook page and recieved some response, but I've been told I can receive no refunds and I have not been able to get my membership cancelled. Everytime I ask to get my membership cancelled I get no response. I have noticed there are insane amounts of people who are struggling with the business and I no longer want to be charged by them for a product I never seem to receive from a company with no kind of customer service. This company is completely unprofessional and a scam.

I was gifted a subscription which requires me to enter my credit/debit card to activate. I got one shipment, was not thrilled with it and called to cancel my subscription (CALLING is THE ONLY WAY to change your account). No one picked up, and I was forced to leave a message. I recently found out that they DID NOT cancel my account and have been charging me $30/month for 5 months while sending me nothing. Whatever you do, DO NOT use VNYL.
Absolute scam. They will take your money and never send your orders. Customer service is the biggest joke I have ever dealt with. All they say is they will "look into this issue" they have been doing that now for over 3 months without sending my orders. This company needs a class action law suit brought against them.
Wish I could put zero starts. This is awful. I signed up on June 30th still haven't received a record for June or July after picking my "vibe"... he cancelled my subscription; hopefully, I get the records I paid for but who knows with these con-artists. Whoever started this business should go to jail lol. Great idea, terrible execution and business. Got me with an instagram ad... DONT BE FOOLED!
DO NOT USE this subscription service! I purchased this as a gift for my daughter in June and she has never received any records. They are extremely hard to get in touch with to cancel. Will never use again.
