I have handed my Lenovo Tablet 10 inch in for a screen replacement on the 13 Oct 2023 at Vodacom Vincent Park. When I handed it in I spoke to Freddy and asked him how long it will take more or less. He phoned the HO and find out about a screen, and they said that they will get stock in 3 days. He said to me that the tablet should be ready in about 5 - 6 days which should have been about 20 Oct 2023. I could not get at that time to the Vodacom shop and by that time I had also no feedback from Customer Service at all.

I waited till the 28th of Oct 2023 and had no feedback of any kind from Vodacom. I decided to go into the Vodacom shop and find out what is happening yet without any info from Vodacom for 2 weeks already. I went into the store on Sat 28 Oct and spoke to a guy at the Customer care and he said to me that they are still waiting on a screen. I then told him that they assured me that it would be done in a week, and I showed him my slip. he phoned the guy Freddy who booked it in and Freddy said that they are still waiting for a screen. After 3 weeks I had no phone calls and no messages from anyone at Vodacom about my tablet that it still has not been fixed. I have whats up Freddy on Friday the 03rd of Nov and he said to me that he will come back to me on Sat the 04th of Nov and still have not received any feedback. I have been about 20 years with Vodacom and never had such bad service.

Claimed loss: My child uses the tablet for school research and he I battling to do it without it.

Desired outcome: Vodacom is quick to take my money to fix it but then I expect a proper service for what I am paying for upfront.Tax Invoice 44
