To whom it may concern

I went to the Three Rivers Mall on the 14/05/2022 to the Vodacom shop inside Three Rivers mall to upgrade my contract. What a disaster! The sales lady explained that I can upgrade to a promotion they have on a phone with an I-Pad and a Note Pad with a microsoft package for a year for free. She explained the deal on the notepad will be an additional R290.00 extra for the next two years witch I accepted. After a long duration trying to get all paper work finalized another group approached me with I- Pad`s in their hands. I assumed that they were the promotion team. I started talking to them, they suddenly explained to me that the promotion on the Note Pad is not a two year deal of R290.00 a month for two years, but R 390 odd for 3 years. 90 % through the deal and quite frustrating after an hour in the shop and at this stage not sure who’s helping. The original sales lady got involved, the rest disappeared out of site again. Fed up by now I said to her where can I sign as I just want to get it done. After that I paid the shop R 800 odd to set up everything for me for example to link the I – Pad to my notepad so that the two are in sync with the same programs. I left the store thinking and accepting that everything is okay to arrive at home and is not the case. Till today a year later still not working for I paid for. I-pad not compactable to note pad programs. But this wasn’t mentioned to me. I assumed everything was fine after I paid my bill. The technician mentioned to me, to come back after a year to reactivate the microsoft package again for free with a key. I still joked with him and said don’t you want to put that in writing for me, he laughed and say no sir it’s not necessary. As time goes on I found out that there was also fraud on my account of R ‪1299.00‬ to microsoft from my account without my permission (after being told in the shop that this was free for 1 year). When I found that out I contacted the manager which also don’t want to reveal his name as well, said to me that he can’t help me it’s a third party issue. At the end after contacting Microsoft head office who advised me to contact my financial institution to report unauthorised funds. My bank opened up a fraud investigation and I was refunded. So after all this time I went to the Vodacom shop the first time Friday the 18 th off August 2023 to the same technician who helped me a year ago ( Which I can’t call by name because after I phoned Vodacom on the 21st to report my second experience Vodacom ask me to get the manager and the technician’s name they refused to give it to me.) on my first visit on the 18th of August 2023 the technician exactly knew why I was there as he said he can’t help me he does not have a key with him to help me, and if I will mind to come back next week, I said it’s not a problem will come back on Monday as I did. ( My question to him was how long will I be able to use package after he re – freshed my existing package he said to me 24 to 18 months but we will know after he is done with settings ) He asked me if I will mind to collect my note pad in an hours’ time. After an hour I went back to collect, he was on the phone and handed notepad back to me no words spoken just thumbs up that notepad sorted. Back home to my disappointment nothing worked got strange messages, i.e. cant save program file corrupt or file saved somewhere else. I went back to the shop on Wednesday the 25 August 2023. Stood at the technician mentioned to him that this time I have some things to sort out, and I am not going to leave until everything is sorted out, as the first time, first he must fix my notepad Microsoft, he wants to argue to me that he showed me that everything was working I said to him that he is lying he was busy on the phone and just show me with a thumbs up all okay. He said than he can show me on cameras that he did request a few times to please show me the images, not him or the manager reacted to my request. So after he told me he is not sure what the problem is , I asked him if I can talk to the manager they called a guy I never saw there before, I said that’s not the manager I know so they said to me the shop has two managers. I can’t see why such a small shop will have two manager’s on the same shift. So at last the manager I know approached me. I explained to him my situation. What waste of time. I told him this conversation is going in circles can he please get the sales lady involved who helped me. That also never happened. I started explaining to him my first experience a year ago, he asked the technician who was the people coming from outside the technician assure him he doesn’t know. So the manager kept on starting conversations with other employees about my case. I asked why does he even discuss this with them they weren’t involved and will know nothing. At that stage he pushed his hand quick to my face, I held him by his arm to stop his hand. After that he threw my papers down and said that I must go somewhere else for help. So I got on my phone to phone Vodacom customer care to ask who I can speak to to report my experience. He ask me to leave the shop while I was holding for customer care, he said I must phone them on my own time and not in his shop. So I went outside the shop while holding for customer care, that’s when I got through to the lady on the other side who sms me an email address who I must send my complaint and request to. get the manager and the technician name what they refuse to give to me. So unfortunately I can’t provide you with their names right now. And guest what after my The second experience, I found again a fraud amount 0f R ‪500 .00‬ taken from my account again without my permission. It note on my statement Vodacom Vereeniging. The manager advised me earlier to approach my bank. So I did. They agreed it went of my saving account card. The manager respond to me was that they are not Vodacom Vereeniging. According to bank They come up sometimes as Vodacom Vereeniging. It’s just strange every time I make Use Of their service that there’s is strange transactions on my account. After I left Vodacom shop. I went to an outside IT person for advice. According to him they should have issued me a number on the micro soft package they gave me. And that an our window time to work on notepad to reactivate program is not normal. According to them the only way to solve my issue is to buy a new Microsoft package. I didn’t do anything as I want my notepad to be in the same state as Vodacom handed it back to me. I will send all transactional paperwork to you if so required. Bank statements etc showing the 2 transactions in question, communication with Microsoft, communication with Yandiswa stating that the Microsoft charge that went off my account when upgrading my package.

I trust that you will attend to my unsatisfying experience with Vodacom Three Rivers and revert to me as soon as possible. Please note that due to this issue I am unable to continue with my paperwork and is causing an inconvenience caused by incompetent people which is a bad for Vodacom.

Kind
