I always liked vw, but in the last two cases I had a bad experience from vw with my two vw tourans. All for the client - as you know.
The most important thing is the trust of brand. I lost my rust in vw, unfortunately.
In two cases, at least there was a factory defect from vw (citygate watford). Mabye its just bad luck, like one of the citygate workers told me, but I dont believe in bad luck - I believe in vw brand! Or maybe it was specifically sold to me such vw knows about the shortcomings and defects.?! How can I know and how can I trust now? Since citygate watford workers say before this was is only my unique case - I want to ask you (vw) make an exception and mitigate your mistakes - make some last offer to me. I have already paid you enough (lots of money) and probably would have paid further and maybe even agreed to a new vw vehicle - but trust is lost. I want to ask you to do so to pay my last amount without interest or make any other discount to my case. Because I was tormented with your cars, I lost a lot of time, money and trust of this brand.
Considering that my current car is not worth the money I pay to you.!
So you can justify your brand and make me the latest discount. Interest-free or something else.
First I had vw touran se1.6 tdi from my dealer (vw watford citygate 3, otterspool way, bushey, watford wd25 8hl [protected])
But due to lot and many many problems and factory defects I was forced to abandon this car.
I replaced the car with another one (vw touran ls15wtk se1.6 tdi dsg wvgzzzitzfw064370 cayba8821), but the problems did not end on this!
I hope for your understanding and believe in volkswagen!
I am waiting for your answer.
Your loyal customer and fan of vw brand mr viaceslav korvel
vw viersen is not delivering the invoice to us
I have takeover a car from the lease from VW Viersen. However VW Viersen is not delievering the invoice so we can't pay them.
Furthermore there are a lot of mismatches and problems with VW Viersen.
Our lease driver, a womanis discriminated and not taken seriously. The new Polo has problems and VW Viersen is not willing to solve.
Finally we will take over the car to get rid of this very bad customer support, take the loss and bring the car to the Netherlands where VW Netehrlands will support us and repair the car and take it in maintenance.
We have made a letter and send to VW Viersen but no reaction from anybody, even their CEO: Axel Clemens is not responding and not taken us seriuously.
Please your support!
What's your email adress so I can forward you the full mail with support questions?

services are terrible..
The service is just unreliable and terrible all in one. No wonder why the reviews on Volkswagen Stamford are poor. I've been waiting on my car for almost a week now, they thought they found the problem but they actually didn't until yesterday. I hate this service and they don't care about their customers and what they have to say. By far the worst experience of my life at Volkswagen. Before they tell people what the problem is, they have to make sure they know the problem. I've been anxiously waiting for my car and this is just ridiculous. They said it was a faulty fuel pump switch and now they're saying it's a faulty fuel pump overall about 2 days later. This is unacceptable. Hope you guys can pay more attention to customer needs.
dgs failure and vw goodwill claim declined...
I have just been advised the goodwill claim for DSG failure has been declined due to car age and kms... this is an administrative excuse lacking quality customer service which also contradicts the managing directors quote from 2 August 2018 "we have a very strong goodwill policy"... "we had some challenges with the DSG, we don't refuse anybody, DSGs are fixed... any issues we fix it"
I am seeking your resolution in this matter please, alternatively I will consider lodging an offical complaint with ACCC, and a safety complaint with Department of Infrastructure and Transport.
My experience - my car completely lost all power at 80kms on freeway during peak hour traffic narrowly avoiding a catastrophic accident.
It would be beneficial for someone to contact me to discuss options on [protected].

armrest and electric windows armrest
I have a 2016 model car and I tried to claim for a new arm rest as well as to sort out my electric windows as the passenger side controller is not working I have got the most pathetic excuses why it cannot be sorted out, for the arm rest the excuse was beacuse I put my elbow in it that's why it is getting torn my point is that it is meant for for you elbow the quality of the material that is there is cheap it is not even genuine leather and with 2 3 years it is getting torn which is unacceptable for the window controller which has a small chip I was accused tried openine it with a screw driver which why would I do that if I have warranty and know warranty will sort it out. I need this issue taken seriously and sorted out ASAP or I am going to put how pathetic vw is all over social media papers and well as helloPeter I even considering selling my vw now beacuse u guys are coming across to me as thief's. And I will advise as many people I can not to purchase a vw
car warranty and air conditioning filters
On Dec. 17/2018 I took my car Golf 2189JZS to VW SAFAMOTOR in San Pedro de Alcantara (Malaga/Spain) to have the 30.000 Km check up. I told the person from customer service that the car was find but there was a problem with the air conditioning; every time I turn it on it smells badly. I was surprised when I was told that VW warranty does not cover that problem. I was shocked the car is only 18 months old, has been well kept and never before with other cars that I had (Ford, Hyunday, MINI) encounter this air conditioning problem. What is the car warranty worth for? Why if there is a problem with the air conditioning filter they do not even bother to check it unless you pay for the cost. What kind of service do you give to your customers? I was more surprised when I was charge for the wiper washer that I just filled in 2 days before I went to the shop. I felt they were stealing from me. Also I think that just for changing the oil and one filter charging 217€ (it only took them 20 min. to do my car) is outrageous. There should be a price list with the different revision you do the cars for the 30.000, 60.000, 90.000 and so on… that way clients will be able to decide whether they want to be robbed or go elsewhere. It is a shame that with such a good car you had such a lame customer service and outrageous prices.
I hope you can give me a reasonable answer with the air-conditioning problem. Otherwise this will be the first and the last time me or my family purchase a VW.
volkswagen golf discontinued engine
Volkswagen discontinued the 1.8 engine I had saved enough money to buy the Volkswagen Golf I wanted but i wanted 1.8 but i only see that vw now only offers the 1.4 engine. It may have a lower displacement as well as lower emissions, fuel consumption and lower engine tax but i want more performance I do not want a wagon that is the only way to get 1.8 engine and I do not want a GTI either because I do not have enough money for wagon or GTI i only want a 5 door Golf hatchback
and I cant get a Jetta either because VW stopped making 1.8 as well for 2019 I will buy a vehicle from another manufacture instead I wish Volkswagen thought about people more then caring about profits
misrepresentation of sale
Firstly, I booked the car in for a service a week ago on the 11 December 2018 I was informed upon payment by an advisor named Simone that I was misquoted when the advisor I spoke to on the phone was her, Simone. I was then told that the car must urgently be booked in for a V-belt replacement/repair I enquired about costs and was verbally quoted 1300.00. The car went in on Tuesday 18 December 2018 and we paid the 1300.00 upfront, we then received a call from the advisor Simone who then said that it's not the V-belt, its something else, the mechanic was wrong, she said they will have a look to see what is wrong and call back. When Simone called back she stated that it was something to do with the suspension and assured my brother on the phone that it will not cost more, in fact she stated that he would receive 300.00 back from the 1300.00 already paid upfront, verbally we agreed and told then to fix it we will collect the car on Wednesday 19 December 2018, upon collect we were billed 3651.80 which was not communicated in advance at all. I then asked to speak to the manager Tyrone, who then patronized me and instead of assisting me with what was clearly a misrepresentation of sale, bullied me and forced me to pay an amount of 3651.80 above as well as the 1300.00 that was paid upfront the amounts paid do not substantiate costs incurred. This was appalling service from.both the advisor and manager. I cannot believe that I received this type of service and that VW Constantia would do this to a customer. I am disappointed because I have never ever in the 5 years of trusting this branch been treated in such a manner. This must be rectified and dealt with accordingly. I have to say I will take this further cause I feel that the manner in how I was treated not to mention the bill I had received without prior agreement was acceptable.
customer care the worst in the planet never buy anything from volkswagen!!! you will be screwed!
Is hard do explain really.
Volkswagen have the worse customer "don't care" in the world I will said.
They just waiting for stupid without knowledge client buy their car and that's all.
I bought certified Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid model 2013 with 27000 miles on it. and warranty.
Thank hell just start.
I like the car only if there is nothing wrong with it and just simple works.
But if there is any problem with the car is almost impossible to deal with it if you don't wanna lose all time energy and money for it.
First problem I got when my car start smoking inside my garage first time, so I move my car outside the house and call customer service, at the same time I disconnected battery so my car wont smoking any more, and that was my the biggest mistake in my life, I should wait to burn this car completely! but well I try be nice and I save this peace of junk. after my car was moved to the dealer they "fixed" and I have drive back 125 miles with this car because they wont move car for you. After I come back home I realized they broken my AC system and just wont work. I have to send my car again for fixing, and of course driving back 125 miles, Couple months later I found out when I park in my garage I saw smoke going from one of the tire and I saw the brake is so hot I was able to burn the paper with it in 20 second almost the paper catch the fire, and I just drive 5 miles with this car to work. again I call customer service explain the problem they move my car to the closest dealer 50 miles from my house, well dealer call me 2 days later and said they wont fixed my car because they dont have special certified hybrid technician to check my problem. Well after that they move my car to another dealer after one week later, they try found the problem for another week which they said there is nothing wrong with my car, when I try drive 125 miles to pick up the car they call me and they said, christmass is comming we are going to help you and we will move your car to your house, Well I already dont have my car for 3 weeks and nothing is wrong with it so I believe them... I have 4 weeks no car and they calling me every day telling me we will call you tomorrow... my car is 125 miles from my house for 4 weeks "there is nothing wrong with it" under warranty certified peace of junk with the worse customer service in the world and no one can help. Just please let to know all your friends and family the Volkswagen is the worse choice in your life! dont trust them ever! They are the best to take your money. One more thing on the website they said "Volkswagen The people before cars!"
discrimination by vw of south charlotte, service dept.
I wish I could give a raving review about my experience at VW of South Charlotte. Due to Joerg Kuehni, that would be impossible. Nobody likes to give a bad review, that means that they had a bad experience and it affected them in someway. Joerg was so condescending to me and accused me of breaking my own window that he actually made me cry. He told me that unless there is a code that they can not fix it. He informed me that VW does not allow that and they can't take my word for it. He recanted that statement after he said it. From the first phone call to him when I made my appointment he was so disrespectful and so unpleasant that I didn't want to deal with him. When I asked him his name and I repeated it back to him, he spelled it so slow pausing after each letter, being rude. I asked my husband to take the day off of work and go with me since he heard the noise too and Joerg already implied I was making it up. My husband and I dropped off my car and from the moment we stepped into Joerg's office he was trying to intimidate me from his body language and told me that there was nothing wrong with my car and accused me of breaking it on purpose. Joerg treated me very rude and was talking down to me, I do believe it was because I was a woman. He talked and dealt with my husband completely different. With my husband there I did tell Joerg that I felt he was discriminating against me because I was a woman and he didn't believe me because I was a woman. He responded by saying, "I am sorry you feel that way. " I responded by saying, "That is the opposite of an apology, obviously you don't think you have done nothing wrong." He then said to me, "You are offended because I didn't laugh at your joke." I told him not to comment on how I feel. I asked who his boss was and he just said "John", I replied, "just John?" He then told me his last name. The entire time he talked to me he was tearing up a piece of paper. This was very threatening to me. I felt like he could snap at any moment. I knew my husband wouldn't let anything happen to me. There was not one other female employee in the service department. As a woman I would feel very uncomfortable and unsafe to-go back to VW South Charlotte alone. As we left that day, Joerg said in a very sweet and sarcastic tone, "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays." I was wearing a Santa hat, so he obviously knew I celebrated Christmas. I turned around and said, "really? Again condescending." He was mocking my beliefs. My husband was furious, he told John later, that Joerg had 2 upset customers in his office and his is going to say in a happy voice, "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays." My husband took the way I was treated way worse then I probably did. He has encouraged me to come forward and tell how I was treated by Joerg. They of course were unable to fix my car and my husband had to take it back. It is a shame that I can no longer do business with the dealership I bought my car from due to the fact they allow an employee to treat a woman differently than a man. That is discrimination.
vw gold 7 tsi
I bought the car in 2014 and on 19 November 2018 the could not start. I took it to VW Midrand and there has been no response for 2 weeks regarding the car. I commutated the issue with VWSA Customer Care and they advised that since the car is out of warranty they could not help. I decided to pick up the car on 30 November 2018 only to be served with an invoice of R2200 related to a diagnosis that they have performed. This indicated that the car has a problem with Mechatronic, Transmission control and control module performance. I have tored the car to my place since I have no other option. This failure to my knowledge is not the first time on this vehicle. This is the second time and I don't understand why I have to bear the cost of a gear box malfunction that VW is aware of on these cars. I currently rented a car so that I can be able to get work whilst I figure out how to finance this breakdown. The service from VW has been poor from the dealership to VWSA.
battery failure
My 1 year old Golf TSI battery failed 29 nov 2018. Sent to VW service. They replaced it but wanted to charge for labour n new replacement battery. They claimed VW battery life only 1 to 1.5 yrs n warranty only 1 year.
Had no choice but pay up.
Request to speak to managers repeatedly ignored.
Poor service n poor quality VW battery. Please help.

Dear Sir/Madam
It is to inform that undersigned had bought Volkwagen Vento Car in the year 2014 from M/s Pvt. Ltd, Rampur Road, Haldwani, Distt: Nainital. The registration no of my car is UK01: A8000. The car running satisfactorily for around 3 years but around one & half year ago the car was given to M/S Maa Sheetla Autowheels, Haldwani for its servicing. After taking the car from servicing, when I drove around 15-20Km from the service centre, suddenly the car stopped & unable to start again. The matter was immediately informed to manager service centre and with the help of service centre the car was taken to the same service work shop and after diagnosis it was found that no engine oil was filled by the service personnel and even in the petrol tank the diesel was poured and due to which the engine of the car was ceased.
As undersigned was having a good rapport with then service manager Mr Parveen Dumla (contact no. [protected]) and on good faith, I left my car in the service work shop for necessary repair/rectification and I was told by the service manager that the same shall be rectified free of cost. In between the then service manger changed his job and joined some other organization.
Since then I was chasing up the matter with the work shop personnel and they were always assuring me that they will deliver the car as soon as they receive parts from the Volkswagen. As the parts have to come from Germany that's why it is taking more time.
Recently to my extreme surprise, when I visited the service centre as routine follow up, I found that the car is in very dilapidated condition, component like engine, front glass, tyre were not found the car. While talking to the present service manager Joe, (contact no.[protected]), he informed that parts may be sold by the service personnel and they were offering me for some off the record settlement. It is also mentioned that the behavior of service centre people is also very rude now. This is a very clear case of cheating and fraud by the Volkswagen service centre.
From this event, I am really disheartened and aggrieved and I want to ask Volkswagen how such big brand name can give their franchise to such a careless and irresponsible people.
I expect from Volkswagen to take necessary action in this regard so that I can get my car at the earliest after due repair. Failing to this, I would have to resort for legal action for my financial loss as well as mental agony from this case and highlighting the matter in regional/national media including electronic/print/social media.
I hope Volkswagen will take some prompt favorable action to maintain the trust of their customers.
Some photographs of the car lying the service centre, its RC and insurance paper are attached for your ready reference.
Thanks & Regards

quality of original parts + perfunctory vag official car service
Subjects of complaint:
- poor quality of the genuine VAG car part (flywheel);
- perfunctory and unprofessional services provided by VAG authorized car service (Автосоюз (lat. Avtosojuz), Kyiv, Ukraine)
Complaint sender: Mr. Dmytro Gundartsev, owner of Volkswagen Touran (VIN: wvgzzz1tzcw036681, st.reg. plate: AA2092CX (Ukraine)).
Contacts: tel." +[protected], e-mail: [protected]@gmail.com
Full description of the problem:
9th of Sep 2016: The replacement by coolance program was made for a flywheel (mileage: 123445 km) on Volkswagen authorized car service "Avtosojuz" (Kyiv, Ukraine).
Being a loyal customer of this car service I've been doing there all planned and non-planned service operations during next 2 years. I reported repeatedly the various problems (sporadic problems of starting the engine, the annoying noize comming on idling engine). All the time I got different explanations: bad accu, bad plugs, etc.). I applied all that recommendations (new accu, new plugs) but It didn't help.
At some point I was so frustrated by unability of the official car service to solve these problems I used non-authorized car service which (from the first try!) found the problem - bad flywheel, demonstrating it to me (see an attached video record). This finding was done when my car had a mileage of 165k km. So genuine flywheel was diagnosed as defective having of 42000 km of mileage, which indicates of either of its very low quality or being defective from the very beginning. At the moment when this was found, the official warranty (2 year) on the flywheel was expired (2y 2m).
Conlcusions:
- the genuine flywheel is either of very low quality or defective from the very beginning.
- the perfunctorios approach of mentioned authorized car service and their unprofessionalism resulted in that I lost the chance to have defective flywheel being replaced on a warranty. Also such low quality of the service provided by this car service resulted in complete and utter distrusst to the Volkswagen authorized car services. Moreover this kind of treatment of loyal customers of VAG products and services mutilates the perception of Volkswagen world known quality and customer care policy.
Desirable resolution of the complaint:
- the replacement of defective flywheel for free (parts + workf for its replacement).
- VAG to demand from Автосоюз (Avtosojuz, Kyiv, Ukraine) authorized car service to improve the quality of the services it provides on behalf of Volkswagen company.

Once I already addressed to you concerning problems with my car. (Ref: VW 2017/[protected])
First I had VW Touran SE1.6 TDI from my dealer (VW Watford Citygate 3, Otterspool Way, Bushey, Watford WD25 8HL [protected])
But due to some problems and FACTORY defects I was forced to abandon this car.
I replaced the car with another one (VW Touran LS15WTK SE1.6 TDI DSG WVGZZZITZFW064370 CAYBA8821), but the problems did not end ON THIS!
The first problem was because of the problem of Volkswagen CO2 emission..
Then - problems began with the gearbox (I remind you - this is a completely new car) VW confirmed that it was a FACTORY DEFFECT ! FACTORY DEFFECT in brand new car?! (gearbox mechatronic unit fault, , , or something like that).
And here again I have problems with the gearbox.
I suspect that this is somehow related to the factory deffect.
Because all the symptoms are similar.
Unfortunately, this is not what I expected from such a famous well-known and reliable brand like VOLKSWAGEN.
It really disappointed me because I love VW brand I has trusted this brand all my life
(once I had 1991 release VW Passat, he was already 17 years old and I have NEVER had any problems with the gear box - not like with new cars ).
I really would not like to think that It was specifically sold a defective car to me, but it looks like this..
At the moment, my VW Touran are at the dealer, they said that I need to change the clutches..
Clutches!?
A week ago, I brought them My car to check - but they said that they didn't find anything, and they said that I should bring vehicle for a full day diagnostics..
So, at the moment they got my car from 08/11/2018 till now..
They called me today and said they replaced the clutches and that it would cost ~ £2000.00
but then after lunch they called me again and said that they replaced the clutch but the car began to run badly .. and offered me to wait for more time again.
This all seems strange to me and I think that there is a problem with electronics or because of a some Factory defects. Maybe my box is defective?
Cause I have already spend a lot of time and money on a new car, where is the guarantee that after replacing the clutch everything will be fine?
Its hard to trust after all this.

vw toureg gps
Just wanted to let you know that the GPS system on our new Toureg is frustratingly poor. We recently drove from Calais to Denmark and back and the number of main roads and even motorways that were not on the GPS system were so many it suggested that the mapping was years out of date. The GPS also makes the most ridiculous route choices where we live so who knows what choices it makes in areas we are not familiar with. VW apparently doesn't believe a good GPS system is important. To some of us it is, even to the point of effecting our decision making process when selecting a new car.
2011 tiguan engine oil leak
I first bought this 2011 Tiguan from VW dealer in 2011. Ant it was maintained yearly and used as a family car. Its mileage is 49, 227 now but started to leak oil from its 2.0 TSI engine. The VW dealer told me the repair cost is $1, 730.61 on me. In my humble opinion, this is VW Engine design defect. Should VW cover that cost? How come a Engine start to leak oil at such a low mileage? By googling, it seems to be common issue to VW TSI engine. Should VW recall that car? Thank you!
volkswagen hk tech crew member openly insulted customer on fb
My Touran GT 1.4 was inspected and serviced by VW HK @ less than 12000km. Then the gearbox has vibration issue and needs to be taken out for repair.
I complained to VW HK. Its tech crew member insulted me openly on a local VW owner Facebook forum, saying that I am a defective human driver that needs fixing, and that I should drive my car directly from Hong Kong to Germany for better inspection by the VW HQ.

To whom it may concern,
In 2012, I leased new and then bought the VW Jetta 2012 in Delray Beach, FL with vin/hull ID 3VWBP7AJ5CM040822.
Unfortunately, this vehicle has been in and out of the dealership since 2012 with multiple issues. I am disappointed because it is still a new car and I take good care of the vehicle. Yet, any time that I brought it in for an issue, experienced mechanics stated that they had never seen issues like mine before and determined it was not caused by user error. The product does not work properly and currently the compressor is out and I have been driving without A/C for a long time. I have brought my car a minimum of 8 times over the last 3 years for major repairs. It has been costly and I am frustrated. This car has cost me over 5, 000 dollars minimum just in the last 3 years.
To resolve the problem, I would appreciate a free repair of my vehicle or compensation in order to purchase a different vehicle. I have multiple records that I would be willing to send if requested, but didn't want to bombard this form with all of the receipts.
I will look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem. I will wait until 11/5/18 before seeking assistance from a consumer protection agency or BBB. Please contact me by mail or phone.
Sincerely,
Lucas DeMonte
