Fun game, frustrated players read this
I’ve played the game for a long time and my opinion is, if you don’t like the ?s you haven’t tried very hard… or very many times at least.
First of all this ? thing doesn’t happen every level after some point. I’m currently on level 631 and the ?s happen every few levels. Maybe every 5 levels.
Second of all I still have the option to have the extra tubes by ads (although I don’t use it so if it’s broken I guess I wouldn’t know).
Third and lastly the ?s levels where you only see the top row. I’ve played a ton of them and basically, I don’t think these levels are calculated before you get to them. I think the ?s change colors according to what your playing. Simply put, once you just let go of not knowing and play, the levels are fairly easy and almost always work out. Compared to the levels I can see the full colors, I use far less “undos” and restarting the levels. Basically I’m either a genius or the puzzles behind the ?s aren’t set.
I still love this game and have for probably almost 2 years. It’s easy to play while watching a show. It is glitchy and there are a lot of ads, but it’s kind of what I expect from a game I found on an ad while playing another game. Lol.
Love this game, but I’ve had a few recent glitches
I absolutely love this game. I love that it’s just straight forward. There’s no daily login, no other game modes. You just do the puzzle and move onto the next. Simple and fun.
However, recently I’ve had a few glitches. The first being my undo button. When you want to backtrack to undo a move you get five free undos before you have to watch an ad. It’s a little annoying because I paid the $2.99 to have ads removed, but it’s not mandatory to use the undo button, so I’m not necessarily complaining about that. My problem is sometimes it glitches and even after watching the ad it doesn’t reset your undo button. It gets stuck in a loop and you could watch three or four ads with no reward.
Secondly, sometimes one of the colors will not have all four blocks it needs to complete the puzzle. It’s happened to me twice now where I’ll complete the puzzle and I’ll only have two dark blue blocks, so I can’t complete the puzzle and have to completely start over. I’m currently on level 299, and the puzzles this far in are much more challenging. It’s so disheartening to get a hard puzzle finished only to have to restart it because the colors are missing from their bottles and you’re stuck.
New update killed this game
I used to love this game. When I started playing this game I paid for no adds.BTW don’t waste your money on that. I didn’t have a problem with the adds that came after that I still had to get through but that changed recently and it’s too much now. They took all of the fun out of the game by adding so many adds. I have played this game all day and all night for a very long time. I was so obsessed. I’ve played 6,748 games. The recent update killed it for me. I suffer from major anxiety and depression and playing this game used to sooth all of that for me. Not anymore. I’m so upset about the new update. Too many adds now. Thank God I have found another game just like this one that doesn’t give me so much stress with all of the adds. I am so thankful that I found another game just like this one. Search and you can find it too. They have adds at the bottom of the page which is so much better and I’m okay with that. This game made a lot of money from me with all of the adds I watched and now they want more. The developers deserve to get paid for their work but it’s too much and I was happy to contribute but I’m done. They have gotten very greedy and killed the soothing fun I used to get from playing this game. I’m done.
Mixed Feelings
Pros:
- colorful
- relaxing/repetitive
- very puzzling
- 5 undos allowed before you must watch an ad
Cons:
- steep difficulty increase after level 100; pre-100 was very relaxing, post-130 = stymying (is this just because I don’t want to watch ads for more vials?)
- no hints
- I purchased the ad-less version, however the game offers additional vials per game, additional undos per level for more ads
- a dialogue box asks you about every 3 levels to rate the game if you love it
- all customization options are unlocked with real-world money; no options for in-game points or currency from leveling
It’s beginning to feel extremely pay-to-win now that I’m in levels 140+. I’m not irate — 125/140+ levels have been enjoyable and relaxing, but I am disappointed.
This is a game I use to “turn off” my brain at night. The last thing I want to do is watch ads during that time — they tend to have the opposite effect (makes sense from a marketing perspective).
I’m probably hitting a point where I’m going to stop playing, and only play it intermittently.
This is a complete estimation, but I think I may have been playing this app for about 3 weeks?
In summary: pay to win after level 120ish? (or I’m le stupid); about as relaxing as klondike solitaire
Fun puzzles
This game is super fun and relaxing. I honestly don’t have a lot of problems with this game which is unlikely for me. First I want to talk about the great things about this game. The game is a challenging game and super fun and brain-stimulating. I could play this game for hours on end because all the puzzles i have played so far(I’m on level 12) have been different and challenging. The game mechanics are great and I don’t have a lot of problems with it. Now that being said, sometimes it’s glitchy. Now this is only sometimes but I will click on the beaker on it won’t move. Like the screen is frozen. The screen will then turn black and exit me out of the game. I have to restart the game and enter again. Thankfully the game works fine after that or it would not still be on my phone.
The other problem i have is the ads. The political ads need to stop. And considering it takes me less than 2 minutes to figure out a puzzle, i should not be shown ads after every puzzle. I understand you need to make money, but the ads should not be that frequent. Also I think you should add new game modes, like time rush or something like that where you have a certain amount of time to finish the puzzle.
Overall this is a great game and you should try it if you like puzzle games and things.
Great Game! (Please read!)
I was looking for difficult games because all the adds I saw for “difficult” games weren’t actually challenging. I saw this add and thought “oh, I’ll download this games but it’s the last time I’m downloading a game that looked challenging!” And it actually was challenging! Unlike the other games I saw online! My dad had this problem too, so I told him to download the app. He was playing another game that just wasn’t challenging for him. But once he downloaded this game it was so much more better. He started to love it. We even got my sister and my mom to download it. There were no issues with this game. It starts out easy but ends up getting so hard I had to use the add pass for an extra bottle! But this game is fun and challenging and great for the brain! I love this app so much. But………….
There are quite a lot of adds. Since I like to play about 10 levels a day, it doesn’t bother me. But if you were looking for something to play for an hour or 2. Idk. Maybe just spread the hour through out the day, if you really don’t want to watch adds. I don’t mind adds to much if they stop repeating the old ones but this keeps on repeating.
But I would still get this game even with the add problem. It’s totally a 5 star rating!
Anyways! Download the game or not. I’m just here bc idk.
Bye?
Exactly what I wanted
This is a great game for it’s simplicity. I just wanted a game that wasn’t bogged down by challenges or anything frivolous and this game delivers on that. I am currently up to level 665 and what I love is that it rotates through simple & hard puzzles while maintaining the same simple goal of just solve it... nothing to buy. Nothing to qualify for. Just a seemingly endless stream of puzzles. My nighttime routine is to watch some videos w my husband, drink a warm drink, & play this game. Perfect way to exercise my brain in a relaxing way. No timers. No goals. Just puzzle after puzzle.
My ONLY complaint- which is barely a complaint - is that at no point did I realize (until very recently) that I could have been earning coins to get more backgrounds & vials. The realization is obviously my own fault, but it was rather disappointing to see that none of the 665 levels I’ve played earn any coins and I have to watch 30 second ads with a forced delay of only every 5 minutes to earn 200 coins an ad, to start spending 500-1000 coins for a randomly selected background/vial. It’s not enough of a disappointment to stop me from playing, but it would have been nice to be able to earn the coins through game play.
Also... the ads. I’m not bothered at all by the ad placements. They pop up between rounds & when you choose to get an extra vial or when you need to undo more that 5 moves. Nicely done.

Virus?
I give this a five star for the game. After playing it nonstop (it’s addictive - it should come with a 12 step program) for a day and paying for the ad free version (the ads were mega annoying! Way worse than other games I play! Two ads, no visible X’s to get out of the ads! But I don’t mind paying for a game I enjoy). But I digress, after playing the ad free game about a day...getting to level 97...the screen went black and a wiggling white box showed up with bells and there was no way out. It stains something close to PayPal users Pay $35.00 one time. Of course I am a dunce and don’t know if it was a virus. I closed the app because I was married to a software guy long enough to know NEVER click on this boxes. Not even on the “X” that looks like you would be closing or minimising the box. NEVER do that. Trust me, I know from experience.
I deleted the app. I likes the game and paid for it. I don’t think it is worth risking a virus by reinstalling.
I hope the developers see this review and do more beta testing and re-release it. Virus-ey software is not past beta. Not fit for humans :-p
I just went and read some other reviews! Most people love the game. But many complain about it using so much battery (it does. I have a brand new iPhone 12 and no other app uses battery so fast. I reviewer said it made her phone hot enough to burn her after 15 min of using this app. She had an older iPhone. Uh, if your phone is getting real hot, stop playing the game. Delete it like I did.
Good.just good
I randomly got an ad for this game, and I’ve recently been looking for new apps to test out because it’s fun.
Before I ever get a game, I always read the reviews, so I know what I’m getting into. The reviews were...not great. Every other review was either mindless, and sloppily typed out with a rating of 1 star, or an emoji-packed paragraph going on and on about how great the game is. With no other context or reasons why it’s good, so you can imagine that none of them were really helpful.
Although, I felt like the ad I saw gave enough information as to what to do and how the game works.
This game is good. Just good. Nothing very special or unique about it, no exclusive features, or things that would push to me give it 5 stars. It’s just good.
The reason I say that is because, it’s like every other puzzle game on the App Store. Yet, at the same time, it has this original charm about it that makes it fun and enjoyable to play. I have very mixed feelings about the app.
One thing that I think is interesting about it, is that, you can’t pour a different colored liquid on top of the other, so basically, let’s say that I want to pour red liquid onto blue/indigo liquid; you can’t do that. Or if I needed to move a light green liquid to get to another color, so I try to pour it atop of orange/peach colored liquid; can’t do that.
That aspect makes it challenging and difficult to play, nothing too frustrating, just a perfect level of difficulty.
Overall, it’s quite good, and not what I expected in the slightest. I’d most certainly recommend it!
I went in with low expectations. I’ve readjusted them. I’m still impressed
I rarely ever find games I actually enjoy in the ecosystem of mobile interstitial ads. Mostly because when I’m getting advertised to by a low-effort game trying to push microtransactions on me, the games being advertised are typically lower effort and even more purchase-driven. Water Sort surprised me, though; after paying for the ad-free, I found a surprisingly challenging, yet soothing collection of puzzles. A simple premise with surprisingly complex, cognitively engaging facets to it. The way progressing through it, I came up with little “bulletproof” strategies, then find out I’d need to tailor it as the puzzles got harder.
It’s not without its faults (the bounding boxes on the leftmost beakers on each row seems a bit off), or its low-budget moments (there’s one sound effect for pouring the water. I think the devs might have underestimated how satisfying it is to hear when you finally make the last pour of a brutal level). And perhaps most damningly, it does have a pretty craven ad-driven power-up system: watch an ad for 5 undos (far too little help for the disruption) or 2 extra beakers (way too much help with too little catharsis; it essentially allows you to finish the puzzle without the satisfaction of knowing what the actual answer was. At least when I look up the solution of a sudoku in the back of the book, I find out what solution I was missing.)
But that’s about 5% of the experience. The core takeaway is a genuinely engaging, intriguing, challenging-without-being-frustrating puzzle game. A splendid way to kill 5 minutes in the checkout line or unwind with cold drink on the couch.
Wonderful
I love logic puzzles, and this one is perfect. It’s a puzzle of strategy and planning for future moves, similar to chess, but in a simplistic style easy to learn and master. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the worst logic puzzle game I’ve seen is Brain Out, which consists of tapping everything, dragging everything, turning up and down my volume, and rotating the screen to find which it is this time. This game, however, has wonderful logic elements and does none of those stupid tricks. The only thing I wish was different was that there was a select level, and maybe a ‘challenge’ type mode where you compete with another player to see who can finish a level first.
So that’s the more positive stuff, now for the problems. Battery is a valuable thing on a phone, and this drains it really quickly. Mine’s not as much of a problem as other reviews I’ve seen, but I can only play the game 3/4 the time of the free time I have. Also, ads. I’ve played lots of games that my brain is just so commissioned to seeing plenty of ads (which is bad on game creators of other game’s fault, not water sort puzzle’s) so it’s not as bad for me to lose a star. However, my family has this thing where apps someone else has purchased you can download for free or whatever it was, I don’t pay attention, but my mother purchased the no ads thing and it doesn’t carry over, which was really upsetting for her and still kinda so for me as well. Also the ads are missing a mute button.
With a few adjustments, this game would be perfect. It’s not quite worth a 5 but definitely more than a 4, so the 4.8 it’s got is accurate. Thank you for reading, have a nice day!
From,
Me
Game is fantastic, but kills battery!
Alright, so first off: I love this game. It’s relaxing but fun, UI is very simple and clean, great. I do wish the levels continued to get more challenging as you progressed; I’m close to level 300 and the difficulty of it has stayed the same since like, lvl 50. But I honestly don’t care about that too much.
It’s the way the app runs that is really the issue. Two things: 1) the lagginess, and 2) the way it drains my phone battery.
1: holy moly the lag in this. It’ll be okay for a few levels, then starts to lag a bit. That’s alright, a little annoying but still playable. But 4 out of 5 times, that continues to get worse until I close out of it lest it freezes and prevents me from even shutting off my phone. And if I play podcasts or music during this, it happens much quicker.
2: I’m glad I read some of the other reviews saying this drained their battery because I thought it was my phone bat dying, or it just being especially temperamental this winter. But reading that this happened with others, I went to check my battery usage, and yep! it uses a dumb amount of my battery compared to anything else I use. In the past 24 hours, my on-screen time for Chrome was about 3 hours, and about 1.5 hours for this game. My battery usage for Chrome was 33%, whereas this game used 42%.
I’ll probably have to delete this game for the sake of my phone’s battery health. Which is a shame! I really enjoy this game! and if it weren’t for these two big issues I would pay to get rid of the ads (which sure, are kind of annoying, but they’re also on like every app now so it’s not anything new).
TL;DR Great game design, but lag and battery usage makes it unplayable. :(
Very Smooth but Could Be Better
I enjoy playing this simple but challenging puzzle game. The pouring motion is very smooth.
I keep wanting a hint/suggestion button for when I’m stuck. Even if it doesn’t necessarily give the right move if multiple moves are possible, I don’t care. Just something to highlight the possible moves so I’m not sitting there studying the vials/beakers for no reason.
Color options could be improved. What about a color palette to choose from? All kinds of blues, for example. Or pastels. Or click to form your own color palette, up to # of colors. I’d choose blues and greens, maybe purples or yellows. Or different color combinations to choose from. Because some of the colors are ugly.
What about various backgrounds to choose from?
Needs challenge level settings. Easy, Normal, Difficult. That way it’s the same amount of colors used every time. Not toggling between 2 difficulty levels.
What about getting an extra beaker but for a limited amount of time? Like a 10 second “boost” of sorts. Push a button to use the boost. Maybe the time could be increased according to water droplets (merits/lives/points/etc) collected. Earn droplets by completing levels without needing/using an extra beaker. Each droplet can be used toward 5 seconds of “boost” time where you get the 3rd beaker. Then, when the “boost” is over, the 3rd beaker goes away.
What happens if colors are in the 3rd beaker when it goes away? Well, they could be distributed back to where they were...but that might be a cluster as far as programming goes. So maybe just randomly distributed to the beakers that have space.
Phew! That was a lot, but I think there are useful suggestions to the developer. Number 1 priority would be the Hint button.
ADS
THE ADS ARE HORRIBL.THEY ONLY SHOW MCDONALDS (YUM) AND NOT ROBLOX! I LOVE ROBLOX SO MUCH I GAVE IT 5 STARS ON 20 DIFFERENT APPLE ACCOUNTS.THIS GAME NEEDS LESS AND BETTER ADS.WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOL IM IN THE CAR PLS COPY AND PASTE THIS NOW . go sub to “sky imps” :)) and flamingo and uh leah ashe and adopt me and denis and and and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh AH YES sub to flamingo ;) now bye SIKE LOL HI im patty and i like cheese. my user on roblox is GrannyPatty. my password is Cheese1202 :).it has over 100,000 robux on it and im quitting roblox because im “to old” i mean, im ONLY 64.. any way. enjoy this How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

No way to silence ads!
I preface this review by saying I have paid the fee to remove ads.
Once a user pays to remove ads, the user can play the entire game uninterrupted. However, if a player wishes to undo more than 5 views, one must watch an ad. To be clear, one does not need to watch the ads and the ads only appear when when prompted by the user. If one does not wish to watch ads after paying for ad-free play, the user can simply reset the puzzle and start over if the free 5 undo moves have been exhausted. So watching ads to undo more than 5 moves is completely optional.
I understand that the developers need to make money so I have no problem sitting through an ad that I have prompted. But this game is supposed to be relaxing. It is impossible to relax with ads blasting in one's ears at an unreasonable volume destroying the relaxing soundtrack of the game, disrupting the silence of one's environment, or cutting into the audio track one may have selected to listen to while playing the game. The ads volume is set to blaring in one's ears for 60 seconds, with no way to silence the annoying sounds. The ad audio is often loud and obnoxious -- completely unsuitable if one is playing the game while sitting in a waiting room, for example.
I understand that the developers can't control what ads are showed to the user, but I know that other apps and games display a Speaker icon that allows the user to mute the ad while the ad plays out. 90% of the ads are for other competitive games, so the sound is usually the soundtrack for that other game - no dialogue or "pitch" monologue; the sound is not vital to the ad and if anything is more off putting than inviting.
Water sort is a relaxing game that can be challenging. But just be aware that any attempt
by you to work though a puzzle by watching an ad will be rewarded with irritating sounds that can only be silenced by manually muting your device so that you cannot enjoy any music, audiobook, podcast, telephone call, or other personal audio that you might hope to listen to while you play.
I love it but
Ads just keep popping up it’s ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after ad after

It’s that SORT of game
Listen, this game will tickle your chemist mind with all the SORTs of liquids and elements that you’ll be combining and contrasting within.
With many levels and a skill cap that keeps raising, after you finish a hard level you’ll feel like a basketball making a 3-pointer and then saying “Water!”
The game rewards you when you finish a level by showing you a fun new game in an AD. This game recommends so many other games. It does this through ADS. If you hate ADS you might have a hard time dealing with the ADS.
Overall this game is simple, easy to understand, fun to play, intuitive, makes sense, not too difficult, not too easy, and simple also. I’ve played this every day for the past 5 years and it’s getting pretty difficult (I’m on level 33 ). We reviewed this game in more detail on our podcast Free Game.
It’s not worth it
Don’t get me wrong. I LOVED this game (that’s why I gave it 2 stars and not 1). I played it for as long as I could. But the ads in this game just became insufferable. I understood when I downloaded the app that there would be some ads but the amount was just ridiculous. On top of that, I struggled with the game lagging as well as the ads wouldn’t fully load and I would just sit there on a blank screen. When these would happen and I would exit out of the game, close the app, and come back, the game puts me back somewhere around 5-10 levels each time. Not only was I having to deal with the insane amount of ads present, but I was losing my progress in the process and it turns out the challenging levels are more aggravating than challenging the second time around.
Fix the issues and you’ll regain quite a few downloads.

Complaints about paid version. Needs improvement
Once you get to level 325 you can’t see what’s below the top level of the tubes. You are only shown question marks.
A simple, sometimes challenging puzzle game.
Suggested improvements:
Level select. Should be able to play previous levels.
Reduce animation option. Should be able to eliminate pouring duration and speed things up.
Shop. I paid for no ads pretty much immediately. The shop is useless to people who don’t want to watch ads. You should work on a mechanic to make the shop an option for people who pay you. If you pay for “no ads”, shouldn’t you get more levels of undo? Unlimited? Double? When I pay for “no ads”, I expect it to be impossible for the app to show me an ad.
Difficulty is inconsistent. Level 50 took forever to figure out. Only one level several before that wasn’t even half as challenging.
Repetitive and eats battery for lunch
This software developer must be a genius. I don’t think I could write such a simple app that guzzles this much battery power if I tried. Seriously, this stupid little puzzle app with no sound, a mindless game mechanic, and the best graphics the 1980s had to offer makes my phone hot enough to keep me warm on a cold winter day.
As for the game itself, it feels like someone is playing a joke on you, laughing at you while watching to see how long you’ll keep playing it. After you max out the difficulty, it’s just the same puzzle over and over again with the colors switched around.
This game is basically a content delivery platform for targeting ads to people with a low addiction threshold.
Oh and one more thing... they’re definitely collecting and selling your data. Read their “privacy” policy. They’re not even shy about it.
More cons than pros
Game concept is good but execution is subpar. Only a couple of the preview pictures are actually accurate! You only get to play with test tubes, nothing changes that and I’m over level 600! Also I play with my phone on silent yet at least three ads override that and plays sound out of my phone! That is a violation of my rights! I have contacted the app to hopefully have them removed and if they won’t then I will delete the app because the ads are ridiculous! You are lucky if after maybe 10 or 15 games that you get to go to the next level without having to watch an ad! I tried playing with the data turned off but it got to the point where every game I was having to watch an ad to get the extra test tube to be able to pass a level and having to turn it on and off constantly took up too much time. Keep your expectations low for this app!
My child plays this game without my permission
I am not okay with this. My eight-year-old daughter Millicent is grounded, and she is playing this game on her iPhone eleven after I specifically told her that she is not allowed to play games on her iPhone eleven for the next two weeks. I’ve caught her playing “Water Sort” SEVEN TIMES in the last FOUR DAYS. This problem would be solved instantly if “Water Sort” sent me a notification every time that my daughter opens the app. Something such as “Your child has opened ‘Water Sort’”. But because someone didn’t add that feature, Millicent Susan is still playing this game without my permission. This is unacceptable. I think that she even plays it at school with her friends! A second suggestion: no children can download the game at all unless they’re not my child! I deleted this app and my daughter reinstalled it. What a letdown. —Karen Grant
It makes you watch adds to finish a level
So I haven’t seen any other reviews talking about this, but in the advertisement, you could por one container into any container. Not the case. Let’s say you want to por a green into a container with a green on the top and a red on the bottom. Your unable to por your green into that container. In the game, past level 5 this happens and it’s literally impossible to get past the level with out watching an add for another container.
Not only that, but the game constantly throws adds at you after and in between levels. Which is extremely annoying. Other reviewers that have/tried to purchase the no adds had the payment either not go through, or if it did, it would only let them skip the add. Not remove adds.
It also was said by the adds to have sound effects yet its a completely silent game. I’ve seen others complain about this as well.
One star for me!
Arghhh! LOVE the game! Hate the heat & noise!
I absolutely love the game itself. Fun puzzles to solve, great design.
But I hate that it makes my phone run hot when I play it: I have literally taken to holding it in front of a fan when I play, which probably isn’t good still.
I also HATE the annoying ads because they can’t be muted are too darn LOUD. I normally play while listening to a podcast & it’s aggravating to have these annoyingly LOUD UNMUTABLE ads come in over the podcast so I constantly have to go back in the podcast.
Please! Lower the volume and/or make the ads mutable! And, I guess, make it run more efficiently? Whatever it takes to not run hot!
EDITED TO ADD Dec 10, 2020:
SERIOUSLY... make your ads mutable. An ad just played for a game w/music that had foul language that would have been edited for US airwaves. This is unacceptable & makes an otherwise good game unsuitable for children.
Fun, but…
first off; this is a great game. I think it has potential to be even better, and i *wantto see it grow and evolve.
…with that being said; first thing i dont like about it is the ADS. Oh my GOD, theyre HORRENDOUS. Even with airplane mode on i still get ads after each. freaking. puzzle. It takes me less than 2 minutes to complete each puzzle too! There should not be this many ads in a game like this!
Second off: it lags. so. bad. it has some unbearable lag. Now this could just be a me thing cause I am playing on an iphone 6s in the year 2022; but ive seen other people say it lags for them too, so… i dunno on that one. ♀️
and just a tiny bug complaint- the audio stopped working lol. It still works in ads but it just doesnt work in-game anymore and I don’t know why? But whatever. Hopefully the app becomes better so I can rate it 5 stars rather than its current score from me, because I really do want to see this game flourish. Thats all!
Way too Many Ads!
Made it all the way to level 100 when I finally had enough. I get why you have ads. But this is getting ridiculous. There’s an ad after every single level you play. Then if you want to replay the level another ad. Want an extra bottle? Another ad. Getting cheats/advances make sense to me. But after every level? Maybe after 5-10 levels I’d be more okay with the ads. But every single one? It’s insane. I have watched more than 100 ads in the span of 2 days because of this game. I end up putting in way more time than I intended to just play a few rounds. Also drains the battery. I have the 13 pro and even my phone couldn’t stand a chance against this ad ridden game. The game itself is fun and I love it. But it’s nothing compared to the amount of ads I have to watch. Even at level 100 I have yet to see most of the images advertised. I don’t think the game is worth paying for to not get ads. So I’ll just delete it. I had fun while it lasted. But I'm not a gamer so this game will not be missed.
Fun to play but causes problems and has too many ads
This game is fun but for me it had one major problem that i noticed lots of others mentioning, it makes my phone get so hot that i can barely touch it within 45 seconds of me opening the app. I do not understand why it does this given the fact i have tons of space on my phone and even if i have no other apps open, my case off, and my phone fully charged and unplugged it still overheats. The reason this doesn’t make sense to me is because i can spend hours on games that are multiplayer with very high graphics before my phone overheats, and that’s with the case on, it plugged in, and with me being on a call. How can a game like that run without problems when this rather low graphic simplistic game doesn’t? I couldn’t stand it anymore because despite me doing nothing other than play this it made my phone overheat and start glitching out and crashing. I have a brand new iPhone as-well so it shouldn’t have a problem running this game. If someone can tell me what’s causing that id be incredibly thankful
No
The game was interesting and quite fun at first. Then…. It froze right as I was at the end of a level and everything got weird after that. First, the app wouldn’t even close. Finally after a couple minutes, it did close but when I tried to delete the app, it wouldn’t go anywhere. My phone started getting really hot, it had slowed down majorly and was behaving very strangely! When I tried to turn off my phone, the shut down and SOS options were slightly overlapped but ultimately I was able to get it powered off. My phone has never done anything even remotely close to this. I have the iPhone 12 Pro and the newest is the 13 so no my phone is not old and yes my software is up to date. Once I powered the phone back on, I was finally able to delete the app and my phone functioning went completely back to normal. I do not recommend downloading this app as I’m concerned with the effect and control it temporarily had on my actual device while installed. This all happened the very first day I started playing it.
Game is good but freezes and crashes your device. Don’t install
Basically. It’s interesting and I’m into games like this but it froze my iPad and crashed. My iPad is new and I haven’t installed much there’s also people who have the same problem as I do and even more. Do not install
Full story
It’s 2 pm and I get on my IPad since I felt bored. Keep in mind that my iPad is new and I haven’t installed much. I go onto the games I do have and see the ad of this game to think “ this ad isn’t very good. I wonder if the game has the same quality or better “, So I looked at the reviews and talk to my younger sister about the game she says as most of the reviews talk of the downsides such as Freezing, Crashing, becoming impossible, draining battery. I installed out of curiosity knowing at least one of them would show up and I bet it was draining battery or becoming impossible, Anndd. Wrong. My iPad froze and crashed. After I thought the game was better then the reviews it crashed and froze.
Please do not install the downsides of the game are much stronger then the upsides
Ugh
it’s exactly the same kind of puzzle as the dozens saturating the market: count which color takes the least amount of turns when you know what’s there, flip a coin when it’s hidden from you, watch an ad every single level. except, no, the blatantly shoddy brogramming shines through since you can literally just force close the app and reopen it, and the 30 second ad just deloads because the next level was already ready.
it’s disgusting. this was a slapped together piece of unoriginal garbage specifically designed to harvest ad revenue. there is no heart here. there is no soul. there is no passion. just corporate greed, and operant conditioning. the bottom of the barrel as far as the politics go.
as for the game itself, well, I’d feel bad, but it’s extremely unresponsive. and SLOW. and the interface is bad. and the previews straight up LIE. but that’s true of all of these “games” nowadays, now, isn’t it?
this game is for children, old people, the mentally handicapped, and people with fat wallets and free time to spare.
Throw the app away
I started playing this a year ago. I purchased the ad free version. I still got ads if I wanted to get an extra tube or extra Undos, but it was an ad I watched of my own decision. Essentially the only difference between the ad free and the free version are with the ad free, you can restart a level as many times as you want without having to watch a forced ad. These game has the absolute worst/annoying ads but since I use the option as sparingly as possible, it was okay. But I need to point out 2 things:
1.) the videos shown on this app are nothing like the first 400 and something levels I have gone through. They don’t look anything like that in the game.
2.) I know have to watch an ad for every QUARTER of an extra tube I want instead of watching a full ad and getting a full tube- I still have to watch a full ad but now I only get a quarter of an extra tube… what’s that about?!
I’ve uninstalled the game at this point, it’s a hard pass on spending money to be ad free and then still having to watch ads. Doesn’t exactly scream “ad free” to me
Good Potential
This game has a lot of potential, but very quickly turned into a money grab by the creators. To be honest, I didn’t mind it so much. It allows me to be entertained while passing some time.
My attitude toward the game changed pretty far into it. After reaching level 1,000, I’ve realized there isn’t going to be any harder levels with 20+ tubes. There also isn’t the type of bottles advertised in the demo pictures. Both of these aren’t terrible, but what really did me in is the addition of levels where there is question marks instead of showing what the entire tube contains. By not showing the player what is completely inside of the container it completely removes the strategy component of the game. It is obviously a way to make frustrated/bored players watch advertisements as these levels become more frequent and difficult. I think I’ll take my supposedly valuable attention elsewhere rather than waste it on making money for someone else.
If you don’t care about honest developers, this game may be right for you. Just know this is a cash grab, not a game that is designed for your enjoyment. It has a lot of potential, but just falls flat.
