While purchasing another product I was offered a 2 week free trial of wellness watchers MD. I was told I would receive an email with all the information on how to access the site etc. I never heard or received anything from them until they took $59.00 from my bank account. After contacting them they sent me a paper to fill out for a refund stating that I should have received an email, a letter through the mail and several phone calls to see how I was doing with my free trial. I never received any of these things and now I am getting the run around with my refund.

I agree with you. I have the same situation. I didn't even authorize for my credit card to be charged. This is pissing me off.

I checked my account today and I have $59 charge with wellness watchers. I don't even know what it is.

This wellness watchers crap is pissing me off. I was charged $59 for some crappy plan I didn't even sign up for. Now I'm filling out some refund form. Ridiculous. Maybe they make money by going through some other company because they can't sell their products on their own.

I was also charged $59 not knowing who Wellness Watchers is, then I looked at an old email from a company I ordered a diet supplement from(Nuphederine), and saw Wellness Watchers in the email. The other company Good Health, must be affiliated with Wellness Watchers, or maybe one in the same. So don't order anything from Good Health, otherwise you will be charged $59 from Wellness Watchers without your consent.

Well watchers md deducted $59.00 from my account. I had canceled the program. I called the number and was told that I was sent a letter and email. I recieved neither one. The company is using the 25.00 gift card as an incentive. The representative told me he would email me the refund papers but I would only get 50.00 of the money back. I hope something can be done.

Wellness wwatchers md and riddex are in a scam together. riddex says you can get 2 for 1 price. The catch is that the riddex charges for shipping cost as the same price as the 2nd item. They are ripping people off. The product doesn't work. Wellness watchers attached theirselves to riddex and offera free trial period. They get your bank info and never send any info to you on how to cancel. The representative wsay that you have to send your refund paperwork in and wait for the money back. Stay away from this. I wrote a previous complaint and put my address in instead. Please disregard the Valdosta ga addres on complaint board.

These people are terrible. Like the others said they attach themselves to the other offers that you do pay/sign up for and get your account information. I purchased extenze for my husband and I even checked the no thank you box for the free offer and my account was still charged. When I called them the young man said it foesn't matter if I check the NO, THANK YOU box or not that I still gave them authorization to do the free trial period and that I said no thank you to the money being drafted out right then. Its a bunch of BULL CRAP. I never recieved an e-mail, letter, phone call, or anything. He said before my 14 days was up i should have gotten a phone call... Well, guess what ... I didn't. He then said I should have called. I told him that I knerw nothing about this until I saw the charge on my account and that was the point when I called immediately! They are rip-offs. Scam artists and someone needs to close them down!

I am the customer service manager for WellnessWatchersMD. It is true that we call, email and mail everyone. But even if all of these got lost in the process, there should not be a problem with the refund. We sedn all 3 because we know how easy it is to erase a message on your machine, throw out a letter with all the junk mail and for eamil to end up in the spam box. If you fill out the form, you get the promised refund. You can email us any time at support@wellnesswatchersmd.com or call us between 9 am and 9pm est at [protected] and we woudl be happy to help you.

I just happened to look at my credit card statement today, and there was a charge for the $59 on my account from Wellness Watchers. I have NEVER heard of this company, contacted them, or authorized their use of my credit card. I don't know how they got my information, but I am irrate about it. This is a scam, and a pathetic one at that. I am expecting a full refund, as well as an apology. Stealing money is a crime, and Wellness Watchers needs to be punished for their actions. Absolutley ridiculous.

I ordered HOODIA from a different website - that is the only thing I can think of that might even relate at all to the unauthorized $59.00 charge I'm getting on my credit card statement. I saw other complaints stating that an e-mail was sent - and overlooked - but I've scanned it all and there's nothing there. I am going to literally change my credit card to get rid of this. THESE PEOPLE ARE UNETHICAL and should be put out of business.

I made a purchase at Urban Nutrition on 7-10, on 7-14 acharge for $59.00 appeared on my record. When my husband called to inquire about this cahrge he was told it was something I had agreed to, this is a lie.

There are many many complaints against this company and yet they continue to do this, how can this be?

Just wanted to comment that I called to report incorrect charges to my credit card for 29.95. Did not have to hold more than 1 minute, they cancelled duplicate accounts that had been created and refunded my credit card, very courteously and efficiently. Their level of customer service was excellent.

I've been sick for the past week with a terrible cold so I haven't been online. I turned on my laptop to check my email to find a confimation of an order that I didn't even place from Wellness Watchers MD. I've never even heard to these people. How did they get my credit card information? This is a scam as far as I'm concerned and I certainly plan to contest this charge!

A charge of $29.95 from them appeared on my credit card bill. When my husband called them, they said it was a monthly fee to view their website. I don't know who they are and have ordered nothing from them that I recall. They refused to reverse the billing but I see in today's email that my account was cancelled. l What account?

For the second month in a row, I have a 29.95 charge on my credit card (Am. Exp). I had no idea what it was for. Last month, I disputed the charge and my credit card provider checked it out and got it canceled from my bill. This month, I have been charged again.
I ordered some reports from Barton Publishing and was promised a $25.00 gift card which was never forthcoming.
Luckily I had printed and saved the page of the rewards. In cleaning off my desk, I realize this is the name of the charge on my card and when I read the bottom, I have been given a reward--ha ha that says if I don't call the toll free number and cancel that I will be charged 29.95 a month to my credit card. Yet there was no phone number period on the page and only a paper copy of a gift card.
I will be contacting my credit card company again tomorrow and the charges had better stop.

I ordered something off the internet 3 days ago, all to find out it was a scam, 5 minutes after I bought the product! I then cancelled the charges right away. Today (3 days later) I find a charge of ($1.83) out of my bank account for a company called "Wellness Watchers MD". I then called them spoke to a man who called himself "The Customer Service Manager" ~ Luis Gauge. Since when do managers answer phones like that? Anyhow, he told me it was related to the order I purchased, that I must have checked a box when I was ordering (which I know I did not)...i'm extremely skeptical and realize that there are companies like "Wellness Watchers MD". He then said how they were just baout to take out $49.99 from my bank account (quarterly) and that the $1.83 they took out was for processing fees. I told him I wanted it back since they were scamers, unethical and disgusting to rob people and not even admit it! He was the most PATHETIC, uneducated "Manager" I've ever spoken to. Luis Gauge said thereis no way I can ever get that money back, I then told him i'm writing this "Dr. Friesen" to let him know how his company is being run! Fight this company...it's disgusting to know how much money they have taken out of people's accounts and they don't even realize! Apparently this man does not care for his job because ~ I just threatned it!

I just checked my checking balance recently and found that I was charged by Easy Saver twice, $1.95 and agin $14.95, for which I had never given authorization. I was also charged by Prime Time Savings Oceanside CA twice for $16.95 each, and was also charged by some company called 3WellWatch for $61.70, without prior authorization. After matching the phone number, I found out that 3WellWatch is a company called Wellness Watchers MD. I don't even know what these companies are. The only thing I bought around that time was from a company called Folica (teeth whitening product Celebrity Sexy Smile). They must have an ILLEGAL relationship with Easy Saver, Prime Time Savings, and Wellness Watchers MD companies. I will not let these 4 companies get away with their illegal and unethical activities. I will contact my bank, these ### companies, and the authority.

I was also unexpectly charged with $59. Like the others I had never heard of it. I called and got the monthly fee (for what I don't know)cancelled and was promised a refund if I faxed to them a signed sheet. I did receive the form and faxed back but as yet do not have the refund. I also have a charge from a WC Value of $19.95 that I am checking on.

I can ditto all of the other complaints...I ordered a product from Joe Barton and ended up with this Wellness Watchers tagged onto it even though I didn't order it. I have tried calling and canceling, or even logging on, but they won't cancel and I can't log on. Now the phone # is disconnected, they have charged my account, and they have my credit card #. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

I found myself enrolled in WWMD by responding to a teeth whitener offer which had a rebate offer and a 30-day return policy. The rebate process is a big game, so while you're waiting on that the 30 day trial period goes by. Plus, they immediately put a charge on your credit card ($1.83 in my case) for sending the rebate.

Call them? Prepare for a long-winded announcement and several minute wait.

I called to cancel and was told that was not possible as the systems were down. They promised to call me when the systems were back up. Guess what.

I found three seperate charges totalling $69.80 from this bogus company. I have no idea what service they provide, nor do I care, as I never gave my card # to them. They leeched it off another offer I did sign up for, but I did not accept any charge from THIS company, and have received nothing from them. Is this how you do business, seriously?

They got me too. Everyone BEWARE! I've been checking message boards and it seems there are several websites, scams, cross links, and sharing of personal and financial information. I'm wondering if these scamwads are using a commercial link to obtain cc information. WebMD is a site where people post their medical problems. I used to check in on it all the time-got a bad back. I don't touch that site anymore, along with so many others. They got me on the Celebrity Bright teeth whitening crap popping up as advertisement hiding under other things you click. How the credit card info is readily available to these morans is somewhat of a mystery to me, but I hope it's not passed on by online banking, ebay, or unidentified shareware cropping up while doing something on your computer which allows access to embedded personal files. I'm guessing at all of this, but it's deeper than just a few folks. Thousands are being scammed day by day from different sources, but always by the same Wellness WatchersMD crap.
I called BBB, FTC, the 3 credit bureaus and if I can get my money back this time, I'm getting a re-issue on all my cr. cards. I've already lost my job and pulling from my IRA with penalty after penalty for early withdraw, I certainly don't need another scam sucker making it worse.

I ordered an Item on line and when I did was offered a rebate from wellness watchers md. I just needed to go to their web site to get it. I did not go to their web sit however they still processed my credit card with charges for their product and a $29.00 charge for I don't know what. I by passed their complaint department after reading your web site complaints and went straight to my credit card company and had them dispute the charges for me as well as change my card number. Thanks for all your help. I hope some body stops these crooks!
